Got at least one picture of the 214 Pokémon in New Pokémon Snap earlier in the week so now I’m focusing on my next backlog game Fire Emblem Three Houses along with my quest a night ritual in Monster Hunter Rise. My buddy came home from Europe so we linked up for some good ol’ local hunting & I must say it is a seamless and smooth experience ! Still loving every minute of this Capcom classic.

Happy Gaming Everyone!

We really need a ‘What games did you buy this week’ section cause I’m always adding to the never ending backlog 😅 Xenoblades Chronicles was 50% off at GameStop and I couldn’t resist. Then the first Bioshock went on sale once again and having never finished the original- insta buy. Lastly, I went all in on New Pokémon Snap this past week and I’m loving every bit of the routes and different islands! Played quite a bit with sis and it’s the perfect co op game without being one

Still rocking out on Monster Hunter Rise - HR5 now. I’m the newbie that decided to go through the village instead of the hub quests first and I’m now backtracking. I aim to do a couple quests a night until the 3.0 update arrives

Also got around to buying the girl her own Switch and copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. She’s moving away for 7 years of Med schooling so I need to keep her sane somehow

Happy gaming y’all!

Managed to cross two games off my backlog this week: raced to the end of the world tour in Horizon Turbo Chase & completed the extremely short Sonic Forces campaign! Peer pressure finally swept over me as I purchased my first ever Monster Hunter game. Rise is everything you guys have been preaching & I’ve already ascended to the 4 Star Quests. Hope to complete a few more hunts this weekend after work

Just finished the world tour after some on and off again over the years. This is the first game in a long time to keep me up late and wanting to grab 1st at every chance I could. Did I achieve it? No. But between token collecting & those super trophies it’s an addiction since races don’t typically take more then 3 minutes. Typically on sale do not sleep on this !

As my weeks at the restaurant have been plagued by understaffing and overworking- 78 hours last week- I’ve taken to gaming more and more to relax and escape from my work. Earlier in the week I collected all the chaos emeralds in Sonic Mania with the full intention of collecting all the blue sphere medals. MY GOD! Those levels are not for me. So I set my eyes on Horizon Chase Turbos ‘World Tour’ mode. It’s probably one of my favorite racers. Very reminiscent of the old school stuff on SNES. If you haven’t tried it yet def give it a shot. It should take me the two weeks to beat before New Pokémon Snap finally graces us

I finally came back around to beating Sonic Mania this past week- all levels complete and collection of the 7 chaos emeralds. I had the urge to 100% this fantastic game but those blue spheres are demonic. Overall one of my favorite Sonics ever! I hope we get a second one very soon

Finally finished Super Mario 64 this past Monday ! So I took an off chance at my back long- ran through the short story mode of Super Bomberman R (meh) & currently diving back into Sonic Mania after work. Loving the challenge. A few more zones & that’ll be complete! Gave Pac-Man 99 a shot. Not my cup of tea. Holding off on starting any big new games to make time for the new entry of Pokémon Snap later this month
