All aboard the E3 Hype Train! Choo-choo!
Yes, after a year off, E3 returns this weekend. We’ve already seen the opening show of Summer Game Fest and with Nintendo’s Direct coming up next Tuesday, we’ve got our fingers crossed for megatons.
In other news, some Switch owners reported problems with the latest system update and a particular error code, we highlighted twelve community-recommended Switch eShop games that passed us by, and Game Boy Advance celebrated its 20th (North American) birthday.

It's now time to unwind a little and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

There'll be a lot less gaming time this weekend with various streams and whatnot, but I'll probably get back into Resident Evil: Village for short spells at night; I fell away from it over the last two weeks so want to make sure I finish.
On Switch I've been revisiting an eShop gem that I never actually finished when it came out - Golf Story. I was spurred into playing it when I saw a little tease about Sports Story and I decided to go back and restart the first game. It's a quirky, funny and very relaxing game to play, perfect for snatched moments of downtime.

Ask any of my fellow journalists what is the single absolute worse time of the year and there will be a single ominous reply: E3. Here we go again: trailers, announcements, new games, live presentations, endless PR mailbox flooding… a deluge of information that makes us skip sleep and sometimes forget how lucky all of us truly are because we chose to be, first and foremost, gamers.
Future game announcements aside, a fresh new new take on The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is on the cards for this weekend. Game of the week is Mighty Goose. I am taking my sweet, sweet time playing this Metal Slug homage to completion because this one truly is a honking good time.

There are far too many video game event streams to be watching this weekend to have time to actually play a video game. In fact, my only game-related activity which isn't watching YouTube or writing about it will likely be a) enjoying my personal podcast highlight of the year, the excellent pre-E3 8-4 Play podcast, and b) stroking my latest retro acquisition — a Pearl White GameCube.
It's still in its package at the time of writing. I'm hoping I'm not going to open it up and find a yellowed husk of a console; the pics looked good on ebay, so fingers crossed. This brings my GameCube total to a marginally ludicrous five now, and I fully intend to take some hot pics and unleash my finest Captain Planet/Power Ranger references on social media.
Look, it's been a tough year. Just leave me to my giddiness and have a great weekend, okay?!

Hello! Hope everyone's doing well. It's E3 time, baby! When I'm not sitting in front of the TV with a big bucket of KFC and checking off my predictions, I plan on jumping back into Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It's been a good while since I last played it, and I think it's genuinely one of the strongest platform games of all time!
On other systems, I'm still working my way through the Halo campaigns (currently halfway through Halo 3), and I've just taken delivery of the PS5 Digital Edition, so will be playing through Astro's Playroom when I have a chance.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Super Bomberman R Online. BTW it's been patched to improved loading times of matches!
I'm also going to start the old school point and click adventure game Syberia this weekend. I need something to focus on until Mario Golf/Tony Hawks/Destroy All Humans at the end of the month (will wait for reviews to decide which one/s I get) and decided to look in my backlog instead of buying something new. Hope I enjoy it!
I'm also struggling for time this weekend, but with what I have I'll be bouncing between Crypt of the Necrodancer (trying to beat the 4th level) and the Witcher 3.
I put 50 hours into it, loved it, but had a few weeks off to play some other things. Now I'm hyped to restart.
If by some miracle I find myself with more time on my hands I expect I'll start a playthrough of Golf Story. Never played it, very keen to see what the fuss is about. Happy weekend folks.
No gaming for me, just non-stop work. Although I will stop to watch Belgium tonight.
I played these games for weekend. 😀

1. Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2 USA PS2
2. Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters PS2
3. Yokai Watch 3 Tempura 3DS
4. Motionsports Adrenaline PS3
5. My Sims Sky Heroes PS3
6. Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus PS3
Here is one of my AAA Full Combo score from DDR SuperNOVA 2 USA PS2 I got. I played this song on Expert difficulty.

I have accumulated more than 105 hours gameplay for Yokai Watch 3 Tempura 3DS. Still getting more Yokai, levelling up my team, searching random items with Yokai Cleaner.
Started on Monster Hunter Rise
I’ve just beaten SMT III Nocturne and I absolutely loved it. It will probably be one of my favourite games of all time.
Dipping into my backlog for another PS2 JRPG remaster I’ve just started Final Fantasy XII. I hear it’s a bit marmite but after playing Xenoblade I think I’ll be fine with the battle system. Especially to change things up a bit after the difficulty of the SMT turn based battles.
Sorry Switch, but Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is going to be my main focus this weekend. It's my first real PS5-exclusive (my other PS5 games being Miles Morales and RE Village, both of which are cross-gen), and while I've only had time to play the intro so far, it's insanely impressive! Not that MM or RE8 weren't a lot of fun, but this is the first PS5 game to really feel like a big generational jump. I'm super excited to see what else it has in store.
When I'm not busy with that, I'll probably be cleaning up challenges, quests, and Korok seeds in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity on Switch (I'm at 74% map completion, I probably won't be at 100% before the DLC's out but I should at least be decently close if I get some more time in today!) and maybe working on Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 (maybe for real this time!) and possibly some Boneworks if I get a chance. I'd love to play more Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, but it seems like my GBA SP needs to have its battery replaced, so I have to wait for the new one to arrive first.
Playing Twilight Princess for the first time and loving it.
Also continuing my Alpha Sapphire Nuzlocke. I’m currently at Sootopolis and have only had 2 deaths.
Finishing of super Metroid. Also this week have been crazy into sonic 1 and 2, and gonna play some ristar mega drive collection xxx
Owlboy (NS) - bought the physical in 2018 but never got around to playing it. Great game so far.
Super princess peach (DS) - gonna play this after owlboy I think. Heard it’s a lot like yoshi’s island.
Uncharted 2 (ps4/ps5) - played the first game in january and I want to continue the series.
Miitopia, Game Builder Garage, and New Pokémon Snap mostly, and solo Tetris 99 sessions to nab two daily tickets (to unlock the newly added themes).
MONSTER HUNTER RISE
Then Maneater switch & Ninja Gaiden: master collection
Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War on the SNES and Castlevania 2 on the NES.
Just casually making my way through Atelier Firis at the moment.
I'm gonna be continuing my my two current main games, Dragon Quest XI and Atelier Ryza 2. Both have been really fun so far. Happy E3 weekend, everyone! I'm so hyped that I'll actually be waking up early to watch the presentations, which is very odd for me lol. Hopefully there will be some exciting and surprising announcements. Honestly, I just really want a new Fire Emblem or Xenoblade game to be announced, and I'd be happy. I'd even take Xenoblade Chronicles X for switch. Seeing Monolith Soft's new IP would be a treat as well!
Finished Bayonetta this morning. Think I’ll start up Bayo 2 next!
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart on Ps5
Mario kart and maybe some pokemon on switch
Ocarina of time on 3ds
Down in Devon enjoying the sunshine. In the evenings I’ve been slowly working my way through dark souls on switch. I’ve just ordered ratchet and Clank for PS5 so that should be waiting when I get home on Monday
Likely more Spiritfarer and Woodle Tree 2 Deluxe.
Also jumped back into Darkest Dungeon after a few months; currently on my 3rd run (Darkest, no DLC), and if I can beat that fairly quickly (in hopefully under 86 in-game weeks), I might start Stygian difficulty for the first time after that. Maybe.
Modern Warfare, Kingdom Hearts 3 and some Into the Breach on Switch.
Got the classic PC game Bioforge and Mirror's Edge during GOG's summer sale, so will be playing those. May play a few other games, but not sure which ones yet. Those two are definitely going to get played.
@Olliemar28 Take your time and soak in every glorious minute of Astro’s Playroom, Ollie. It’s the best platformer since Odyssey, 3D or otherwise! I still need to mop up five or six of the collectibles to pop the platinum, so I may dive back in this weekend.
My eldest is coming over today, so on Switch, I’ll be playing MK8D with both my daughters. I may even let them win for once! 😇
I just completed Golf Story which was a little gem of a game.
Now I am playing through Galaxy from Mario 3D All Stars which is a great way to wait for the E3 reveals.
After finally finishing Namco x Capcom this week (a wild ride of 124 hours, according to the "clear" save file - possibly my record until I properly drown myself in a Disgaea), I have moved on to the next, if apparently less populated, representative of this delicious crazy multiverse. Endless Frontier is a living proof that people accusing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 of "excessive" emphasis on certain aspects blatantly haven't SEEN what it's like when Monolith puts emphases (special mention goes to Haken who can barely last several dialogues without making a physique-related comment😅), but that's not remotely the extent of its quirks and perks - the battle system alone, recognizably similar to and yet distinctly different from its predecessor, is easily one of the most engaging you'll find in NDS library (which is no small feat on a platform that birthed TWEWY), and the characters are memorable from the get-go (I mean in general, stop snickering!). Too bad the battle banter, while appreciably Japanese, won't have subtitles until Project X Zone (or, at best, until Endless Frontier 2 if its unofficial translators tackled them), but it's still quite fun.
On Switch, I've found myself quite focused on Caveblazers and increasingly quagmired in Terraria, but Dragon Quest Builders, Gravity Rider Zero and Mugsters don't lag far behind, and I'm finally making more progress in Resident Evil after successfully wasted all my grenades on the crypt boss (missing twice at point blank didn't help😅). Got plans for more Starlink, Void Terrarium, Layers of Fear 2 and Yu-Gi-Oh, too. Other platform ambitions for the weekend include familiar backlog highlights like Ace Attorney and Monster Monpiece.
Still more Okami HD. I've been making slow progress with it, but I'm nearing the end of the game. I'm at the Snow area's shrine, with around 25 hours played so far.
Other than that, still more Arcade 1ups. I did order a pool table for the basement as well yesterday (first day out of lockdown in 2.5 months), so maybe I'll play some Pure Pool to brush up on my shot angles before then.
Doodle God (Windows Phone) - Still playing this on and off.
Battleship (Windows Phone) - Need to get back to this.
Lines: The Game (Windows Phone) - Making nice progress on this.
I have been hopelessly addicted to Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. I'm just over half way through! It's the perfect game to play and to have some e3 goodness streaming in the background.
Fingers crossed for that rumored sequel!!!
Edit: BWAHHHHHH
Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind
In chapter 4 or 5. Haven't been playing as much after I got Joysound but I'm still slowly making progress.
New Pokémon Snap
5 or so Pokémon left to find. All but one in the snow/cave region. I believe I also have 3 branching paths I haven't found yet.
Civilization VI
Thought I'd play a quick game of Civ since I haven't done so for a while.
Karaoke JOYSOUND for Nintendo Switch
For Japanese practice and for fun. It's funny how it shows Nintendo trailers in the background while singing. The only official game from Nintendo I know of where Kirby and the F word can be on screen at the same time.
@Munchlax I wish I could play that game for the first time again!!! I understand certain grievances that have developed over time, but no other Zelda game is as good when it comes to pure dungeon crawling
I just finished Blasphemous and I’m a couple hours into Thimbleweed Park and it’s great so far
I will play some Panzer Paladin on the Switch and Resident Evil 4 (Switch) but mostly I will focus on making my game.
I've been playing an unhealthy amount of DOOM Eternal so probably more of that. I've been trying to polish off the challenges in Superhot, but the speedrun, realtime speedrun, and no restart challenges keep killing me. Might also start on the Ninja Gaiden games. They look really fun! More Animal Crossing too as always.
Picked up Fez last week and have been playing it in spurts, an hour here, half an hour there. Last night had a strong desire for a new platformer so picked up Ori and the Will of the Wisps. My first Ori game and I am very excited to start.
@Kaioken
Wait, Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart is already out ?? 😲
(Watch the gameplay on Youtube)
Woooooow...!! 😲😲😲
Finally made it to Phase 9 in Robotics; Notes Elite.
Also just found the 3rd vial in Resident Evil Village.
And just chilling away at New Pokémon Snap
Ori & The Will of the Wisps! Great game, absolutely stunning I’ve been really enjoying my time with it on Switch, even better than the Blind Forest.
Picked up Bloodstained on sale for $20US at Best Buy so I'm finally going to give it a shot!
Shin Megami Tensei III and I'm currently having a great time with it.
I'm enjoying Game Builder Garage, Rocket League, Super Mario Maker 2, Wreckfest, Sludge Life, Glyph, Kingdom Two Crowns, Party Golf (when will we get a sequel with online multiplayer?), and Wipeout Omega Collection.
I'm finishing New Super Lucky's Tale today as a breather after the serious SMT III Nocturne.
After that I will probably start Bayonetta and World's End Club at the same time.
@Farts_Ahoy I hope you enjoy Elite, I think it's an underrated novel, unlike the sequel which I hated.
Probably more Subnautica as time permits, but I also picked up The Flame in the Flood on sale so I hope to try that out, too. Guess I’m in survival mode lately!
Maybe I can get the kiddos to play some Super Mario 3D World with me, but they’ll probably just prefer to be spun rapidly around in my office chair like usual. 😆
@GregamanX I don't remember how far along the snow shrine actually is, but 25hrs seems like a quick playthrough. I took about 50h I think and HLTB says the average is about 40h so you might have some way to go yet! I do remember feeling like it was getting towards the end a few times during the game only for something else to happen.
More XB1 stuff like Halo 5, was going to focus on the Switch with MH Rise but with that buggy system update (I installed it because I thought Nintendo redistributing it fixed it) Switch will have to wait.
Just started Dragon Quest XI S so I'm planning to get stuck in to it good and proper this weekend.
@Anti-Matter Jim Ryan would be so disappointed in you! 😂😂😂
@Steelhead oh man. It’s amazing. I’m playing it a second time right now, regardless of my back catalog I could be playing!
Chivalry 2! unbelievable good, most fun i had in years with a online multiplayer game. really i am stunned
Ratchet rift apart is waiting too but chivalry…
Ovivo, a stark black and white, surreal, physics-y puzzle platformer. I’ve recently gotten into drawing surreal silhouette scenes and this looks kind of similar to what I’m doing so I’ll give it a go.
Just last night I finished up Doom Eternal! So now I've hopped back into super Mario 3D All Stars. I'm currently trying to finish super Mario Galaxy.
After some (re)runs of Super Metroid, I'm playing Metroid Fusion again
Finishing up Ori 2 this weekend, then chewing on the backlog until Tony Hawk drops in a couple weeks!
Replaying Mario + rabbids and so excited about the Ubisoft reveal
maybe some Gulity Gear Strive
Trying to play Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin, Piooneers of Olive Town and Ace Attorney, but it's intensely frustrating with my eyes the way they are right now. I generqly end up playing something like Steredenn with its big, cbunky pixels, or Slay the Spire, instead. I may just spend the weekend crocheting, as I don't need to use my eyes much for that.
Cataract surgery is this week. Hoping it will get me back in the game.
@AgentGuapo I've been really looking forward to it. Despite being a huge JRPG fan this is my first DQ game. I also have DQ VIII on the 3DS to play at some point.
Finally wrapped up giving the majority of my play time to ACNH as I feel my island is finished after over 800 hrs. Returning to my backlog rotation of AC Black flag, Ace Attorney trilogy, Super Mario 3d All Stars and Borderlands I, Octopath Traveler, Wonder Boy and Let's go Pikachu.
@dmcc0 I'm in wawku shrine, and I just obtained my 13th and final celestial brush power. From what I remember playing 15 years ago, I'm pretty sure the snowy mountain region of Nippon was the 2nd final area, apart from the place where the final boss is. Also note that I'm not doing all the side content. I'm not getting into unnecessary battles or hunting for bounties or anything. Just getting praise and chests wherever I can along the way.
I'll be spending some of my weekend, continuing to play through New Pokemon Snap. I'm also thinking of starting another playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening while I'm at it. On the PS4 side of things, I'm also planning to play Star Wars Squadrons and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown for a bit as well.
Hey hey! Finally got past the Advanced Quest in Monster Hunter Rise this past week so I ATTEMPTED to play other games- including Game Builder Garage. A huge failure! Nothing beats the addictive grind so I’m back at it, awaiting new quests & content. Until then i shall be forging & trying new weapons. I’ll sprinkle in a few Mario Kart 8 Deluxe races here and there with the sis.
Happy gaming everyone !
I missed Miitopia on the 3DS, so I'm thoroughly enjoying it on Switch. It's such a charming little RPG with an addictive gameplay loop.
I just picked up Game Builder Garage and did the first set of lessons. I wasn't sure if it would be my thing, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It feels like a pretty robust set of tools that isn't overly complicated. It's all very Nintendo. There's also some very catchy background music that sounds straight out of the Wii era. I'm looking forward to sinking some more time in on my days off
Other than those two, I'll probably play some Super Monkey Ball on the GameCube. Maybe do some multiplayer with the wife.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
Switch: Synthetik - on my top 10 favorite games on the system.
Xbox Series x: Chivalry 2.
@Steelhead DQ XI has become my comfort food game. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! The game is gorgeous and the writing is amazing!
This week I will be mostly playing
Pokémon Black
Just finished Ryza 2 as we speak, not sure what I will do for the rest of the weekend.
My hope is to reach the end credits of Fire Emblem Echoes this weekend. I'm about to wrap up Alm's side of Act 4. Shame I have a dentist appointment this morning....
Switch-wise, I'm still working on The World Ends With You. Just moved onto the second week with Joshua. Neku has to play again?! I'm really enjoying the game so far, even if the controls are a little on the clunky side.
As usual, a few minutes of Pokemon Go here and there. I still need to find a Galarian Slowpoke....
Have a great weekend! E3 is here!
Current playing the old Dragon Quest games.
I already finished DQ1 and 2, now I'm in the middle of DQ3.
Gameboy Colour Versions for each of them.
Gonna continue Ori WotW this weekend and dive into a few Knockout City matches aside from Apex. Been playing Persona Q2 also as I don't want to finish Strikers yet. Hope to get some TV time for Royal as well. Btw am curious as to what game is on the cover photo of the article? Looks like a nice setting for a game!
FF VII. I've been reading about Yuffie's quest on the PS5 remake and she probably is my favorite character in this game. She and Cid.
Fez. Only a few puzzles left to do. I'm up to 170% of 209%.
Bloodstaind.
Also picked up the Ninja Gaiden trilogy. Not sure why the reviews were so low on Nintendolife, I thought the games ran smoothy and were a lot of fun. Most other reviewers thought the same thing. It seems that the reviewer got an older copy of the game.
@Clyde_Radcliffe Syberia was a decent scratch for that non-commical, point-and-click, old school itch. Hope you enjoy it.
I might sample the Game Builder Garage demo, but I'll mostly be playing Ys Origins. I just beat it last night with Yunica, so I'll start a Hugo run now. Depending on how time goes I'll probably get back to Star Ocean:FD R.
Plenty of other stuff to do this weekend, but I can squeeze in some time to do a couple of stages in Thomas Was Alone. Fun little game.
@MeloMan I've been playing it this afternoon and actually do find it unintentionally comical like a lot of early 3D games. Some of the voice acting, obtuse puzzles and the character Momo!
After nearly 130 hours, I finally finished Xenoblade Chronicles DE and Future Connected. Probably going to mess around in Streets of Rage 4, Scott Pilgrim, and Rivals of Aether before I properly start another game. Considering Hyper Light Drifter, Bastion, or Return of the Obra Dinn as the next candidates. Happy E3 everyone! May the odds be ever in our favor 🤞
I'm still replaying Oot on my 3ds, I'm in the water temple so yaaay.
I'm also playing some BOTW on a new account, as I recently picked up a Switch lite so my dad can play on the big switch (he lives a bit away from me and his eyes make the smaller screen a no go). He loves the Namco museaum game with PacMan, but I'm trying to find other games for him.
Other than that, excitedly watching E3 predictions and chilling!
@HexagonSun I've been on the fence about the Miitopia game, as most people like it due to nostalgia I thought. Sounds really cool though ngl.
I’m playing SpongeBob Square pants. Lol. For the love of SpongeBob that has DragonQuest 9 on it. SquarEnix isn’t going to give me Dragon quest nine for the 35th anniversary. I picked up SpongeBob on the cheep. That little made in China cartridge has all the DQs from the DS.
Yoku's Island Express, just started it the other day but I'm having fun with it so far.
I finished the main quest in BOTW last weekend. I’ve started Samus Returns on 3DS, so I may play some more of that. Last night I also just finished a quick play through of the main game of Celeste. I am usually not one to replay/rewatch/reread, but I have been meaning to start doing a bit of that and I really enjoyed going through the main game again. Only took about 6h ignoring the strawberries for the most part. I have played Celeste quite a bit more than just the main game in the past, going back once in a while to play Core, a couple of B sides and collect more strawberries in the past, but this was my first fresh file replay. It was a lot of fun. Such a great platformer. Probably my favorite of all time, even if my nostalgia says Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros 3 and my other modern pick is DKC Tropical Freeze which I kept playing until the in-game progress said 100% (first time I ever did that).
Skyrim and Cookie Clicker.
Might not do much gaming with the Euros and Copa America on. Feel burnt out by Animal Crossing New Horizons finally. Didn't play it twice this week. First time missing a day since it released. I'm trying to get to level 100 in Splatoon 2. Five more levels. I've also been trying to 100% Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. Love that game.
Have a good weekend everyone.
3DS: Style Savvy: Styling Star. Nothing to say about it except it's Style Savvy and is good, just like the other three.
PC: I'm going to be finishing Va11 Hall-A. I'll also play some Arcade Spirits. I took a break from it but I'm back to getting all the achievements. They aren't hard, just time consuming. You have to play through the game multiple times to get them all. Maybe I'll play some Coffee Talk, Galactic Civilizations II, The Sims 4, or Sins of a Solar Empire too. Whichever I feel like.
Switch: Balder's Gate: Dark Alliance. That game is hard. I'm in the mines and there are so many sorcerers and archers. If you're surrounded, you're dead. Also ACNH as always. Maybe I'll get back to Borderlands. I originally played it on PS3 and didn't finish it. I now have it on Switch too and still haven't finished it. XD
PSO2: NG - i'm really enjoying the game so far.
Animal Crossing - the Gamecube Version.
i'm also gonna focus on watching E3 This Weekend as well.
Ninja Gaiden Master Collection
Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I just got it on thursday and am plowing through it.
@WoomyNNYes
Hey, I can't find your comment anymore but I got to the game right now, I have the final world and the bonus levels left, I did everything else for 100% so far
Bought FAR CRY 5 in the FC Bundle why it was on sale on PS4 just so I could play username: Perfect-Dark1982's GoldenEye
levels remade in FC5's Arcade Mode. Started playing them last night and got to Surface II. Simply fantastic. Put the GoldenEye soundtrack on Spotify and went to work. I cannot explain my gratitude to this person.
@SigmaNoire Ah, oh really? I thought maybe my comment was possibly spoiler, or annoying. So, I deleted it.
I was half way through the bonus levels and quit because, I was about to run out of lives. I was worried I wouldn't get a continue. I never ran out of lives before in the game, so I don't know what happens. Will I get continues? Do you know?
I'm going to play a hundred weird Game Builder Garage games and maybe learn to program a bit more.
@WoomyNNYes No problem, this is mostly a friendly site and the game isn't really about the story, also the Switch version kind of spoils the bonus levels from the start on the world select screen
I don't think I will run of lives till the end, but I would assume that all that will happen is that you would have to start the level from the beginning regardless of how many checkpoints you took. It would be very unusual for a game targetted mainly at children to not give you a continue.
I’m gonna try to get in some Monster Hunter Rise.
Finally tucked into Mario+Rabbids — just in time for the sequel announcement! Loving it so far.
Ratchet & Clank of course as we get into E3 proper! I can't wait to see all the conferences and announcements. Sony has already had a good week with a few stellar releases.
Also playing through Xenoblade Chronicles and the new Wonder Boy on Switch. Been a huge fan of that series since a Youtuber named 'HappyConsoleGamer' raved about how good it was!
Hope you all have a great weekend of gaming ahead
@Kaori-chan I had this same problem haha, I started doing a new thing last year that really helped which is only playing 2-3 games at a time: 1 main story game, usually bigger like Xenoblade or Persona, and then 1-2 smaller games (like a platformer, Megaman, Pokemon, Ratchet and Clank). Then I just swap those out with new games as they get finished
Of course there are games that I'll drop everything for, and I don't mind that at all haha
ratchet and clank rift apart! love it!
I’m currently about 2/3 through Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I kind of regret getting it though, as they’ve messed with the perfection of Ninja Gaiden Black (I like the extra Rachel missions and the fixed camera) but pretty much everything else should have been left alone.
Once I’m done I’m going back to finish off yet another play through of Final Fantasy VII and then get onto Garage Game Builder.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart on PS5 and Dragon Warrior 3 GBC on my GBA SP AGS-101. Get all that?
