Another week down in the inexorable march towards 2021's holiday season, and it's been a busy one Nintendo-wise. The platform holder released its quarterly financial results — profits are down but on track, with industry-wide production issues being a particular thorn in Nintendo's side at present — and the release dates of its upcoming slate of games was reconfirmed. The Animal Crossing 2.0 update dropped a day earlier than expected and has been keeping islanders busier than they have been in ages. Gotta love Brewster!
Now, though, it's time to chill out and discuss our weekend gaming plans. A few members of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to give our entries a read and then join in with your own via our comment section. Enjoy!

Like a lot of Switch owners I'll be playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 2.0, and I'll also be getting stuck into the impossibly cute Happy Home Paradise DLC for review. I've only done the opening part but it made me a smile a lot. I also have a weird urge to finally start a second playthrough of Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
Elsewhere I'll be unwinding with Forza Horizon 5, which is the only driving franchise that gets its hooks into me - alongside Mario Kart, obviously.
Kate Gray, staff writer
What am I playing this weekend? Well, judging from the notifications that pop up every couple of minutes on my Switch, I think we're all playing the same thing: Puyo Puyo Tetris.
I'm kidding. I'm playing the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise downloadable content, or the ACNHHHPDLC for short.

Hey folks! I'm still not quite ready to close the door on Halloween just yet, so I'll be getting stuck into a bit of gothic horror with Castlevania Advance Collection. I'm also working through New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe after a long hiatus; not the best game in the series by any means, but I love its breezy, easy-going nature.
Over on the Series X, I wish I could say I'm playing Forza Horizon 5, but I'm waiting for its release on GamePass on Tuesday. Instead I'll be brushing up on some Halo multiplayer with that fabulous new 'Macworld' Orion armour. Have a good one, all!

“Spookvember” is here, ready to slaughter our wallets. We don’t really have a proper Halloween tradition in my country but in said holiday spirit this weekend I've got a double dose of zombie whacking lined up on the Switch: Dying Light and World War Z should ensure my neighbours won’t go long before rumbling explosions from my audio setup vibrate their living rooms (fret not, they are complete jerks). Tunche is also a grind-friendly delight and at long last my physical edition of Star Renegades arrived, quite looking forward to that one.
Game of the Week is Inazuma Eleven Strikers on the Wii. I’ve pretty much given up hope of having the ultimate version of this on Switch, which is a real shame. Prove me wrong, Level-5: Inazuma Eleven Ares is still real… right?

Cards on the table — there's often a great disparity between my gaming plans (as documented here on a near-weekly basis) and the reality of my weekend.
This week I plan to get back into Animal Crossing and the DLC, and investigate the Age of Calamity DLC, and play some more Ocarina and Star Fox 64 with my gorgeous new NSO N64 controller, and continue my journey through Metroid Dread, and start playing Alien: Isolation, which has been in my backlog for ages.
The reality? I'll probably grab 20 minutes with Tetris Effect just before midnight. 20 glorious minutes.
Have a great one, everyone!
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!

After 80+ hours in eight days, I finally finished Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle earlier today. Had a really fun time with it.
Just downloaded The Binding of Isaac: Repentance and decided to start a fresh save file for it so that’s going to be a large chunk of my life for the foreseeable future. Already have 1000+ hours in Afterbirth+ on Switch but this is the first time I’ve played in at least two years so it feels good to get back into it.
My physical copy of Doki Doki Literature Club Plus arrived yesterday so I might start that up as well if I can pry myself away from Isaac. Would like to play some more Mario Party Superstars as well as I haven’t played since launch day thanks to Shadowverse.
Continuing Metroid Dread, and also continuing a second playthrough of Arkham City which Metroid Dread inspired me to start.
I'll start with Demon Turf today and since i'm norwegian i'm legally obligated to play Flåklypa grand prix (pinchcliffe grand prix)
I don't have time for these articles, I need to play Animal Crossing!!
I restarted Red Dead Redemption after giving up on it (and selling it) roughly 9 years ago. ´s alright but not amazing, I just happened to be in a mood for an open world thing.
Animal crossing happy home paradise on switch. Enjoying it lot so far. Put a lot of hours into it yesterday.
Psychonauts on xbox series X. Fun game but mainly playing it to play the sequel after.
Nothing on ps5 this weekend, tho the VR ps+ games do interest me.
Animal Crossing New Horizons for all day long. 😀

I have been playing ACNH since morning, working at Happy Home Paradise Island and unlocked some unlockable stuffs.
Still unlocking all the new stuff in the Animal Crossing update, not time travelling so it will take time, cafe opened today, and two shops.
I’ll finish off the Heart of Stone expansion to Witcher 3 this weekend. Then probably start Blood and Wine straight away.
Nothing, My Switch has had to go into Switch hospital. /cry
Got burned out on crysis 2&3 for switch. Completed 2. Now playing 3. I liked the 3 more.
Also disco elysium for switch will be looked into because it's my second playthrough after completing it on PC.
Dunno. I really fancy getting animal crossing again and the DLC but i dont know if i can really be bothered to do it all again after deleting my save. Completed world of light a few nights ago so im feeling a little burned out on smash at the mo. The fam is out for the day so that rules out Mario party superstars. May hit up Guacamelee as i got it for a steal in the sale (thanks Dekudeals) and should really try and get back in to one of my many JRPG's. I just dont knoooooooooow 🤷♂️
Just Animal Crossing, loving the update and DLC!
Despite budget constraints overriding some of my previous game investment plans for the next fortnight, I've still got a few more Switch items to give a housewarming run to (including Retrace: Memories of Death and Sheltered), and I just snatched Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns for 3DS as well. But most of my typically gluttonous Switch plans revolve around the more familiar titles - Fuga, Portia, Broforce, Skyrim, Children of Morta and The Lost Child... plus the "outer layer of probability" with even more itches like Shining Resonance Refrain, Valkyria Chronicles, Xenoblade (either or both), Starlink, Sakuna and/or World of Final Fantasy... ahem, back to earth now. The laptop which I've been lucky to use somewhat more consistently as of late (while this luck lasts, I guess😆) should see more ESO, Just Cause 2 and FFXIII, but Red Faction and GTA 4 aren't outside the realm of probability either. Good odds of GTA LCS on Vita as well, especially since I started the slow hunt for hidden packages earlier this week. With an online map, of course - they provide me with enough damn challenge even without the "hidden" part.😏😅 flashbacks of makeshift ambulance platforms
Ultimate Tiger Heli - I bought it from the Japanese Eshop yesterday. We still don't have the other M2 Shottriggers games - ESP. ra de or the Aleste Collection - so I decided it would be pointless waiting to see if Tiger Heli gets a Western release. Google Translate's camera mode can help me figure out the options. I might buy the DLC as well but it's a little pricey and I'm not too sure what's all included yet.
Dusk - What a game! I love everything about it.
Alwa's Legacy - Started it during the week and I've fairly enjoyed it so far. It got a 9/10 on Nintendolife, so I'm expecting big things from it.
Rocket League - As always.
Idk 😔 I keep opening the preloaded GTA games hoping there’s a a glitch that lets me in early 🤷🏻♂️
Got stuck on a really stressful bit on Metroid Dread so dipped back into Skyward Sword and got stuck on a tough bit. Ffs. It’s like the world is telling me to relax in Animal Crossing
I'm playing Happy Home Paridice all weekend
Been a crazy couple weeks for me so progress has been slow on BotW.
I’m now at 95 hours, 458 seeds, 77 shrines and 2 divine beasts. Slowly getting there but I must say, now Hestu has fully upgraded my slots (not loving that sentence), the excitement of finding a seed has died down significantly. Still going for everything though and I truly believe I’ll have this game 100%’d in time to give me some breathing space before the sequel.
I’ve really fallen head over heels for this game in a way that I didn’t come even close to in 2017. I’ve been sort of indifferent about the sequel but now the idea of having new areas to explore within this framework with some new mechanics is just stupidly exciting.
Have a good weekend, all, I’ll be continuing to fool nobody in Gerudo Town of my vai status
Lots of Dying Light and some Tetris 99
Monster hunter rise!
Animal Crossing New Horizons to fund Redd's store, buy some crops from Lief, do a bit of Happy Home Paradise, maybe try yo improve the island a bit more, and sample the Roost.
Also some Dragon Quest XI S. I just beat Booga enough for Jade to have her revenge on him, and Hell hath no fury like a woman who's been brainwashed into doing his sick and twisted dirty work.
Just got the final battle of ni no kuni white witch to do. Started a few retro games recently dk country, kirby adventure and super metroid and streets of rage2. A bit stuck on a few others like Mario Kingdom battle and hollow knight
More Mario Party Superstars on the Switch front but mostly focusing on XB1 this weekend. More Halo 5 and just started Forza Horizon 5 yesterday.
I feel that Forza Horizon 5 while fun so far will be even more fun once I finally end up with a Series X. Loading is reminding me a lot of Sonic 06 which is to be expected given the base XB1 (the main model present in 2013-2015) is a lot weaker than Series X.
I'll be trying to finish up Doom 2016, which I've been absolutely loving so far. I'm on a huge FPS kick lately, so I think I may also pick up Bioshock Infinite and Project Warlock, since they are on crazy good sales right now. Possibly a bit of Dicey Dungeons as well, which I really want to get back into. I was also thinking of starting Hob: Definitive Edition, which I got on a super good sale last week...but I may not be able to resist diving into Bioshock and/or Warlock if I pick them up.
I just downloaded Halo Master Chief Collection so in a few hours I will start it.
Also Animal Crossing for the new stuff and that's all folks.
Guardians of the Galaxy on PS4. Brilliant fun and stunning looking. Test Drive Unlimited 2 on Xbox 360. I'd love a new game in this series because I will not get to play the amazing looking new Forza. Continuing with Guacamelee, starting to get hard.
Back on the Switch for the first time in months and on Animal Crossing with the boy. Just picked up Warioware which is a lot of fun and have Super Monkey Ball arriving later today
Finaly returned to my switch after 3 months on my new series s to play Monster Hunter rise and what a good game , but maybe a little easier than the previous titles but the game is gorgeous and fun to play.
This week I will be mostly playing
Age of Calamity
Toki Tori 2
WarioWare Touched
Mad Max on my PS4, Codemasters Collection on my Evercade and Fight 'n' Rage on my Switch
On Switch I'm playing Super Mario 3D World, ACNH, Mario Party Superstars and Metroid Dread. I can't help but play mostly handheld since getting the OLED. Games look fantastic on the new screen.
I'm also playing Goldeneye on the N64 and Earthbound on my Super NT.
Have a great weekend, everyone!!!
Mass Effect Legendary Edition went on sale so I bohght it last night and will probably devote most of my gaming time to it this weekend. I've never played any of the ME games, so it's time to see what all the fuss is about.
On the Switch, I'll be doing Ring Fit Adventure and maybe some Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker if I need a break from ME.
Animal Crossing and Xenoblade Chronicles for me!
Metroid Dread and Guardians of the Galaxy on Switch. Red Dead 2 elsewhere.
I'm beated New-Donk City in Super Mario Odyssey. It was one of my most favorite moments in the game. And I'm taked 2 good photos of Paulina. After I taked a peak at the walkthrough, I'm finally finished 9th Episode in Resident Evil: Revelations. Completed a few missions in Mission Mode in Guilty Gear XX ΛCore Plus R. Bought Strider Hiryū in Capcom Arcade Stadium. For me, It's one of the most hardest games that I've ever played! It's harder than Super Ghouls n' Ghosts and Contra III: The Alien Wars. I hate difficulty of the game. And jumps in the game... They are almost the same as Super Ghouls n' Ghosts! You CAN'T control character direction in the air after you make a jump. It's really pissed me off. I'm think that I hate this game. That's all what I'm played on Nintendo Switch. On Android, I'm beated Metal Slug 2 and Metal Slug X. Its very bad ports, especially port of Metal Slug 2.
@Lilmonix3 How are you liking Fenyx Rising? I played the demo, liked it, but was unsure. How much time have you played, are you liking it?
The ACNH update is crazy. As someone who has been happy to gently experience the island almost every day since launch, it is overwhelming! I love the gestures that you can do while sailing with Kapp'n.
Burnout Paradise still captivates me. Racing through streets, amazing crashes, and I love the design: the over world is so fun that I drive around for a while before trying another event.
Happy gaming everyone!
I'll be playing more of the Animal Crossing update. I dropped the game pretty quickly after it came out (which made me sad as I loved New Leaf and didn't think New Horizons lived up to it), so I need to make more progress before I can access the new content, but I'm hoping that process won't take too long. I also started up Final Fantasy XII on the Switch recently, which is a game I despised as a teenager but I find myself enjoying now. I'll definitely get more of that in this weekend. I might try to squeeze in a level or two of Quake as well since I'm on episode 4 now and it's been a little while since I last played. Shouldn't take me too much longer to finish it!
Outside of the Switch, I started the original Silent Hill a week or so ago and I definitely want to keep going with that. I just finished the hospital, not sure how far in that'd put me overall. It's been a great survival horror game so far, I wish I hadn't put it off so long! I'll likely try to get in some more Dead by Daylight on Steam as well since I got back into that game with the recent Halloween event.
I started playing the second title in the The Great Ace Attorney duology, so I'd be playing that one. I guess I'll also keep playing Killzone 2 on PS3, which I've been very slowly on because I shortly after realized is not my kind of game and I only really enjoy it in short burts.
I got the Toaplan Arcade Garage with Tiger Heli in the mail yesterday, so i'll probably play that.
Also, i'm having a lot of fun with rRootage (which NintendoLife sadly still has not reviewed)
Working on ACNH a LOT. Going to get some gyroids and open the art gallery. Then the Cafe.
Ocarina of time and dead by daylight babyyyyy
I’ll be playing around in ACNH and the DLC a bit with the kiddos today, then hopefully some Happy Zombie Paradise time in Dying Light afterward.
Oh, and my copy of Fatal Frame - Maiden of Blackwater is scheduled to arrive from Japan on Sunday, so given time I may boot that up too.
The problem is, unless I get raking, I won’t be able to FIND the delivery under all the leaves! So I’ll mostly be playing yard work this weekend.
🍁🥺🍁
Finished Mario Galaxy with 120 stars yesterday, really enjoyed it. Gone back to Thumper as I only ever made it to level 5. Will see if I get any further this time! Quite an intense experience with the OLED and headphones. Also working my way through DK2 on SNES switch, and might play a bit of Pinball FX, Fast RMX or some other pick up and play type game.
I have alreadybeen playing;
TROPICO 6
STEAMWORLD DIG 2
And I'm definetly going to play;
SUBNAUTICA
@GrailUK
I hearted your comment only out of sadness! I hope you get your Switch back from repair soon, or maybe get a surprise opportunity to buy an OLED 😁
Gonna see if I can finish Metroid dread been really enjoying it so far also forza horizon 5 is gonna keep me busy
Currently hooked on Tetris 99. Beat Super Ghouls & Goblins earlier in the week & messing with a few quests in Monster Hunter Rise here and there. I think I’ll start on Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light this week!
Planning on spending this last week before SMTV trying to 100% the Age of Calamity DLC, revamping my AC island with all this new content, and I've also started Atelier Totori DX.
NL should conduct a poll of how many people actually play the games they say they’re going to play this weekend🤔?
I’ll admit. there’s been a week or two I’ve said I was going to play so and so game this weekend just to never play it.
with that said…I’ll check out my island on AC to see what all the big fuss is about
Captain Toad Treasure Tracker - Mummy-Me Maze Forever.
OMG . . . I finished the rest of the game in 6 months. I've been stuck on this level for more than a year! LOL.
Already spent some good time with CoD Vanguard.
Also I started Max Payne 1 on PS5 and making more progress in Judgment.
I hardly get on with my Switch right now. Been playing Metroid Dread only for 1 hour so far
I'll be playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons this weekend, as I finally got around to turning my Switch on and doing the update. Outside of that maybe some Mario Party and Pac-Man 99 as well.
@Teksetter Thank you. I appreciate that
Series S: I'm saying goodbye to Forza 4 this weekend.
Switch: My S/O is hooked on Pokemon again so i wont be playing any games on that system in a while. Lol.
PS5: Death Stranding DC. Going for plat. 💪
Bravely default 2, and ocarina of Time on wii u. Might also start up aria of sorrow
I am hoping to finally beat luigi's mansion 3 this weekend.
Not sure. Maybe I’ll get back to guardians of the galaxy. Other than that it feels like I’m in wait mode for Forza 5, SMT V and most of all Black Friday deals which is making me a bit hesitant to buy anything at the moment.
Pony World 3 and Daughter Simulator.
Animal Crossing DLC , a couple attempts at Hades ..
rRootage Reloaded
My mum thought hollow knight was "too dreary"(???) so im looking for something else, curently torn between buying a year's online for chrono trigger and bug fables and stardew valley... if anyone has any tips to convince my mum that hk's not too dreary i'd love that too thx
Finished my 2nd normal mode play through of Metroid Dread last weekend. I did a bit of item collecting back in my original file after that, and am now thinking I may 100% it at some point.
However, I didn’t want to get burned out on that game since I Iike it so so much, so then I started Minish Cap on Wii U VC the next day. I really like the pixel art in Minish cap. I got a little stuck I a couple of spots so far but figured it out without guides. I also ran into portions of the overworld where it seemed like nothing would drop health which seemed odd.
@BenAV
Dude I’ve done the same with Repentance, I’ve started a brand new save file as well. TBOI is my most played game on the switch and quite possibly ever and Repentance will easily triple my play hours.
Other than The Binding of Isaac, I will be playing Disco Elysium, Tetris Effect and Smash Bros.
An action packed weekend for me! Everyone else enjoy their weekend 😁
While eagerly awaiting the release of Forza Horizon 5 on GamePass, I'll be playing the ACNH update + DLC, some Dr. Mario 64 via NSO and some Islanders to keep me busy this weekend.
@dugan hey, I know you weren’t talking to me BUT I thought I’d jump in anyway.
Immortals is a pretty good game, if you’ve played any modern Ubisoft game, you’ve played it. It’s a big old map with a bunch of tiny icons that you can chase after which all get pretty repetitive pretty fast. The vaults (or this game’s shrines) are quite good fun and some of the puzzles had me stumped for a little while and some of the challenges therein can be tricky. One even pushed me to take a break before coming back to it.
The combat is also a huge victim of ‘dominant strategy’ in that it’s fun and tough to begin with but you’ll soon identify the heavy hitting attacks and as you upgrade, enemies start to just become punching bags.
The story is alright though and the character interactions (while not funny at all IMO) are pretty well realised and adapt well to previous progress. Overall, I’d say it’s a short bursts kinda game. It took me about 50 hours to 100% and most of that was really enjoying myself for thirty minutes of a session and then just trying to tick boxes for the next hour or so before putting it down.
I’d say if you find it cheap and you’re after an open world game, it’s a safe bet. It’s just not gonna set your world on fire and you might struggle to see it through
Mostly Animal Crossing with the new update and all. I’ll be sure to throw in Fatal Frame and Pokémon Sword as well.
Finally got around to getting into Spiritfarer.
Honestly good game, but I think the story is building up to a point you realize your entire family is already dead.
@Zeropulse I finally did that just the other day. Enjoy!
Metroid Dread and Mario Kart 8. Have a nice weekend folks!
ACNH so I can move my house. Pokemon Shield to shiny breed.
Have a good weekend everyone.
@sunny63 https://www.commonsensemedia.org/game-reviews/hollow-knight
This might not help at all. You could try it though. Sorry if it doesn't work. If anyone has a better idea that Hollow Knight's not dreary, please respond to him.
Animal Crossing - I didn't buy the DLC because I figured I may someday get the expansion pack, but I have been having fun trying out all the new 2.0 features after months of not playing.
Ghosts 'n Goblins Ressurection - I recently bought this on sale. Only mildly tilted so far.
Amazing Princess Sarah - I tbh accidentally bought this Castlevania-ish game, but it is kind of fun to pick up literally anything including corpses and throw them at enemies.
Super Mario Maker 2 - playing some of the fun Halloween levels still.
Finishing Amane's route in If My Heart Had Wings and then I'm done playing anything major until I get my hands on the OLED which will be by the end of the month 😁
So I finished Final Fantasy IX and that is now my favorite one atm! It was a wonderful journey! One of my favorite parts was when Eiko wrote that anonymous love letter to Zidane but it ended up getting lost and whoever found it believed it was for them 😂. I actually laughed out loud when Steiner thought it was from Beatrix and vice versa lmao. I mean hey, I guess it did end up working out for them.
Honestly it just had a lot funny moments like this but it also managed to make me really sad at times too. Vivi is my favorite character from the game so you could imagine how I felt when I found out he died at the end .
So now the only FF game I have left to play on switch is FF8. I've heard a lot of interesting things about that one so I can't wait to see for myself 😅.
For now though, I've decided to jump back in to Dragon Quest XI and try to complete it to 100% completion. I've currently got 49 side quests finished so I'm a little more than halfway done with those. I've also started Fast RMX which is a pretty fun game from what I've played so far!
I’m 30 hours into Witcher 3 and still only at level 11, this is a massive game.
I was also going to go back to The Binding Of Isaac until I realised the dlc isn’t out in Europe as yet. I might play a bit of Hades or Dead Cells to scratch that itch.
I’m just killing time really until SMT V releases. I’m also seeing if I can get my hands on Jack Bros which seems a good fit if I want to play SMT and Isaac.
i just unlocked Leif on Harvey Island, tommorow Katrina is on Harvey Island, tommorow i gonna unlock Reese e Cyrus, i just saw Apollo at the Roost, and making some Bells for the second and final House storage expansion.
Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars on PS5, Diablo II on Switch (I may give Mario Party Superstars a spin, as well), and making my way through the beginning of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals (such a good JRPG, I can't believe I missed out on it back on SNES).
I'm running through Broforce currently, it's so over the top lol. I'm hoping to start The Ninja Saviors soon.
It's going to be Call of Duty Vanguard and Forza Horizon 3 for me this weekend.
I’ll definitely play a lot more Mario Party Superstars. I still haven’t tried out Woody Woods or Horror Land so I’m looking forward to trying both out. The game is an absolute blast! I’ll play some Dead By Daylight as usual, and Monster Hunter Stories 2 when I have some solo gaming time. Hopefully I can get close to finishing the game this weekend.
Sayonara Wild Hearts
Hands down my favorite game on Switch. I love unconventional rhythm games.
Just completed a Nuzlocke run of Pokemon Shield (not blind) and lost just one of the team in the Championship battle with Leon, so pretty chuffed with myself.
Not really sure what to get stuck into now. Do have Dex, Child of Light and Mark of the Ninja: Remastered from a sale barely started, so maybe one of them.
Happy gaming everyone.
Mahjong by Microsoft (Droid) - Daily challenges and puzzle packs.
Bad Piggies (Windows Phone) - This is a fun take on Angry Birds so far.
Burn the Rope (Windows Phone) - Love slow puzzle games.
I wish I wasn't still stuck on Darksiders 3. I've been playing it for months and I am ready to finally finish it.
But I spent all day grinding in the Crucible for an armor set so I guess it's my own dang fault.
Otherwise I'm just grinding away at Dragon Quest 7. This does it for me in a way XI never did and I can't explain it yet
Metroid dread, Tokyo mirage sessions, lies of astaroth (xbox), then maybes, if i have more time will be either RDR2, scarlet nexus or the gardens between (before it leaves game pass soon) all on series s. Lots of backlog on ps4 that i have completely put off for now.
Finally wrapping up Trails in the Sky!
Then I’ll be free for Shin Megami Tenesi 5
I just upgraded to the new OLED Switch! So I also picked up Zelda: Skyward Sword HD and am loving it. Currently just got to the first dungeon.. lol.. Haven't played this in years, but its seriously a great game. Also recently got: Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Sonic Mania, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Cooking Mama Cookstar, Paper Mario: Origami King, Rayman Legends, a few others, and lots of e-shop games. Looks like all my weekends are set for awhile! 8)
I also just updated my profile after not doing so for years but I have a vintage gaming YouTube channel that I post videos in weekly (mostly Atari & Nintendo.) Check it out in my profile if interested.
Btw, I am loving the OLED Switch! It's a huge upgrade to the original I had initially. I had a Switch Lite before this I got in Summer 2020 and really missed playing on the big screen. (I gave my launch edition Switch to a kid who I met and was extremely poor, so I visited with his family, and I did my good deed and traded it for his Dads' PS2 plus Sega Genesis and games. He literally cried he was so happy. When I was a kid, dreaming for the day when I could afford a new NES or SNES game, because my parent's couldn't afford it, I always wished a stranger would trade me for one, and that's exactly what I did. Well, for another kid who was just like me.) 8-)
@Lilmonix3 Thank you for your thoughts on the game, I really appreciate them! When it goes on sale, I probably will get it, if I have memory. Thanks!
@MajorasLapdog Thank you for your thoughts! I feel like you gave a good assessment of the game. It sounds like something I will enjoy and I will probably get it on sale. Thanks!
Lil bit o’ Luigi’s Mansion 3.
Gotta say that’s probably in my top 5 true Switch exclusives. (Haven’t gotten far though.)
Late to the thread, but I’ve been digging into Bastion. Pretty great little game! Maybe not the all-time great that I’ve seen it advertised as in some parts, but still the art and narration are stellar. I’ll probably also play a little Smash, and maybe some Toree 3D 2! Happy weekend!
Miis! On the Switch! That’s pretty much it. I do want to try to finish Deltarune Ch. 2 but I don’t know if I will have the time. Oh, also Minecraft: Java Edition on Windows Gamepass! I love Minecraft but I've never played Java.
@JasmineDragon I know it’s well regarded, but I still feel like Captain Toad doesn’t get enough love. It’s like a perfect game lol.
@NintendoDad See my comment above 😃 ✌️
ugh...those backlogs there are too many to list from the 400 list that needs to go back to not to mention 3DS games that need to finish those as well.
@arnoldfranklin Thanks a lot, I have checked that site and it is helpful, if there is anything else pls let me know
I just recently got back into Age of Calamity and I am getting close to finally 100% completing it. I have the DLC, but I’m not sure if I will do it right away after finishing the main game yet.
45 hours into Baldo almost at the end of Dungeon 4 (Maluna Abandonned Royal Mansion) collected the Bomb Owl finally which apparently opens up a lot of places in the game. Patch 1 has now been released which brings a lot of quality of life improvements such as faster walking while holding jars, vastly improved map system, better difficulty management (those spiders no longer can kill you from the ceiling) etc.... another 40 hours to go and I am already sad when it will be over. I tried Metroid demo: it’s a bit meh. Need to go back on Skywards Sword and Luigi Mansion. Oh and I’ve been promised to visit Super Nintendo World in Osaka for my birthday since I’m in japan so for that I’m super hyped!
@JasmineDragon I would love for Mass Effect Legendary Edition to get a Switch release. I have it on PS4 and have been playing it since the first game.
