Finished up with Team Sonic Racing’s adventure mode the other day and now into uncharted territory. I attempted a few games in my back long but had a hard time falling in love with any of them. So I turned on Monster Hunter Rise in prep for the massive expansion coming late June. A few event quests down with 15 or so left to conquer. That, Tetris 99 & Halo Infinite will hold me down this week

Kirby Star Allies is on my list. I don’t think I’ll 100% it, BUT, I will complete the story mode best I can. Tetris 99 & a short wait for Halo Infinite S2 is among us. I do think I’ll grab Nintendo Switch Sports once my sister & her fiancé are back from vacation.

On XSX, I ended my run at Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order at 82% achievements due to losing some progress due to the game not saving properly - hopefully I can find the courage to redo and finish collecting the chests & secrets there.

Happy gaming everyone!

After completing my life as a Tarnished in Elden Ring I decided to finish my journey as a Jedi in Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order & low and behold I got through the story!! Just getting a few extra acheevos before jumping into anything else new on my backlog. Looking forward to Halo Infinite S2 in May!

On Switch, I tried my hand at Blasphemous for a few hours to some disliking to the lore/story and back tracking to move things forward. Typical Tetris 99 nightly rounds PLUS a new ritual of Downwell! Seeing if I ever get it the bottom of that one.

Happy gaming everyone !

Nearing the end of Elden Ring! But I don’t see my self putting it down until Sunbreak comes out in June. We also pulled out Mario Party Superstars for a quick 10 turn game last night & it still took an hour to complete ! That game needs more boards. Lastly some before bed Tetris 99 and catching my last 20 Pokémon in Legends Arceus ever so slowly

Re: Review: Metroid Dread - Quite Possibly The Best Metroid Game Ever Made

I once used to shift from game to game never completing one or another- then the pandemic happened and I’m on my 18th finished game of the year. That honor belongs to this beauty, Metroid Dread. Never having completed a Metroid game other than Super via Wii VC, I made it my mission to see Semus through. The developers created an environment that captured one’s attention and the puzzles were just enough to make one keep on trying. The quality of life improvement of checkpoints truly helps this adventures fail & try again formula - without making one back track at all. After 100% it, Dread is my game of the year. Please give this game a shot if you haven’t already. I was so eager for more lore I went back and beat the OG NES Metroid in a couple nights!

Finished up my 100% run through of Metroid Dread & oh my, what a fantastic game! If you haven’t picked it up I urge you to give it a shot soon! I’m currently shuffling between Horizon Chase Turbo Senna DLC & the OG NES Metroid with a couple quests from Monster Hunter Rise sprinkled in between. Trying to fit Dune in this weekend as well!
