Hey SNK, How about some brand new games in the NEO GEO style? We all have these games already and they're all fantastic, but something new would be great.
This keeps looking better and better. This could become my favourite LoZ game after Link's Awakening on the original Game Boy. It looks jam packed with great gameplay and ideas.
Amiibo support is great. It would be great if every Switch game had some kind of hidden Amiibo feature/Easter egg. And what about the lost fart of a feature that is the IR sensor thing? Does any game make use of that besides 1 2 Switch?
Sonic & Knuckles Maker Alex Kidd in Shinobi World 2 Jet Set Radio Battle Royale 99 '24 Altered Beast Attorney: Neff's Mistrial Yakuza X Shenmue Ecco the Dolphin: The Celestial Voyage ChuChu Rocket BeatDrop Daytona Kart: Monkey Ball Edition Virtua Fighter Y2K Nomad 2
Getting this just because it's not a metroidvania, jrpg or have fishing/crafting in it. It's just plain ol' bare butt boxing like we used to do before the internet and self-driving phones.
I feel fighting games are pointless nowadays with online play. It's just not the same sitting in the same room with your friends and trading controllers while hurling insults. I'd love to pick this up, but it will just sit on a shelf untouched.
Absolutely shocked that N64 is leading. Possibly the worst cart design with that rounded bump of a top and no top label. Only thing it has going for it is that lenticular label. Famicom carts for me.
Never played this before and was excited to check out the trailer. I kind liked the voice overs, but the trailer just didn't tell me much or get me hyped.
Looks more like Black Tiger, Rastan or Blades of Vengeance to me than Golden Axe. That's not a bad thing though. I'll have to check out the demo if that does indeed exist.
A little too late and looks super boring. Shape it like a Triforce or something or it would have been nice to have some interchangeable faceplates with Nintendo characters and way to charge a pro controller too.
I was looking forward to this since it just looks like something totally different. Not the best review and score, but I'll still pick it up just to try something different and not yet another jrpg and metroidvania game.
Ancient games, huh? Can't wait for all you kids to be in your forties and someone born today calls Breath of the Wild old and boring — which it is. Give me some Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and Excitebike any day of the week. OK, I'll go back to reading my newspaper now.
This looks great and I'm not a huge Zelda fan. So many great ideas packed into this game. This is the kind of simple, yet innovative gameplay I expect from the big N.
I'm from Africa, so I'm looking forward to the review for this. I'm not the biggest Metroidvania fan, but the gameplay looks decent from the video above.
I had the Game Boy version and could not get very far in it. I just used to put him on the rocket and watch them both zoom off at super speed to their demise.
I usually prefer the more expressive Famicom artwork, but in this case, the idea to feature the gold cart colour with a cut-out in the box makes it an easy win for me.
I'm already pretty tired of that image of Link kneeling on the edge of that flying island or whatever it is. I'm sure Nintendo has some other images of TOTK they could slap on some items/marketing material.

Team Past. My life was better then. 😔
Re: Soapbox: Sony's Insane PS5 Pro Price Highlights The Delicate Balance Nintendo Must Strike With 'Switch 2'
Keep in mind that price is without a game. You'll spend that much and it will just be a fancy paperweight.

Re: 'Tetris Forever' Compiles More Than 15 Titles In A New Interactive Documentary
@Yalloo Yeah, the backgrounds are cheesy as hell, but awesome as well. And isn't there a re-release of that CD-i controller? Yup, there is: https://limitedrungames.com/products/retro-inspired-switch-pc-controller?srsltid=AfmBOopveKnv9VJLpurd_NJnn4Z8BELsS9kWgT_bJOXbv4cxBuhZy8Tk
Would be great if they added the game and compatibility for that controller just for the hell of it!

No Tetris CD-i? Hard pass! 😂😂😂

Re: Review: LEGO Animal Crossing - Fly With Dodo Airlines - A Great Little Set With One Glaring Omission
Looks like yellow cat is about to impale blue pilot with that hook. Yup, I don't know the names of Animal Crossing characters.
Re: Random: Player Discovers Hilarious Method To Knock Out Guards In Metal Gear Solid 2
It only works because it's Steven Seagull. I'll see myself out.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (27th July)
Good ol' Contra on the NES and some Origami King if I have the time.

Re: Xeno Crisis Scores A "Physical And Digital" GBA Release, Pre-Orders Live
I think the only three platforms remaining for this game are the WonderSwan, LaserActive and Casio Loopy.
Re: SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos Switch Physical Releases Announced
Yay, a physical edition! Boo, it's Limited Run again.
Re: Kung-Fu Roguelike 'Forestrike' Brings Puzzles And Punches To Switch Next Year
I was pretty interested in this until I saw it's yet another roguelike. I think the puzzle/fighting/foresight thing is innovative enough.

Flame Sabre! It would be great to play the entire game in boss-fight mode.

I'm in. Hopefully there's fly catching with chopsticks and ice breaking contests!
Re: Lunark Developer's Next Game Is A Bite-Sized Take On Link's Awakening
Boring. Bring some attention to something original for a change, even if it sucks. At least show a game that is taking a risk/being innovative.
Re: My Nintendo Store Reveals Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Pre-Order Bonus & Bundle (UK)
@gcunit Agreed. So lazy to just use the cover art over and over again like they did with Tears of the Kingdom. God, that was everywhere.
Re: Video: Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition Gets A New Overview Trailer
@Deljo Nope, people worked on this so they should get paid.
Re: Switch Is Now Nintendo's Longest-Serving Flagship Home Console
It may last longer and be pretty fun to play, but nowhere near as great as the Famicom.
Re: According To Hideki Kamiya, ÅŒkami's Development Team Was 'Weak'
Maybe he just couldn't see that his team wasn't so rubbish. I'm an old fogey who clings on to his old 8 and 16 bit games, but Okami was excellent.
Re: #DRIVE Rally Brings Arcade-Inspired Retro Racing To Switch Next Year
Looks decent, but what's with the cheesy characters and voices?
