I love how everyone seems to be trying to distract people by blaming anything on inflation other than the government printing and handing out more money. You would have thought we would have learned this lesson after Germany in World War I.

I am so glad that someone else remembers Dragon Warrior Monsters. That was my favorite GB series as a kid.

I just 100%'ed the game. It was a blast to play. Fun, charming, and cozy.

@Ryan_Again I am holding out on buying the game until wave 4 of the dlc rolls out. I made that mistake with XC2. I bought the DLC but I never went back to replay the game with the DLC.

If we do get Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD announced now, then it will be a poor sign for BotW2. I can only see those games coming if BotW2 is delayed for another year or two.

@Travisemo007 well, it makes sense that the monster design in the DQ games are reminiscent of Dragon Ball Z considering that they both have the same artist, Akira Toriyama.

I loved the Dragon Warrior (Quest) Monster games as a kid. It's a shame that the past couple of games have been japan exclusives. So I'm happy for any other games, that have that same premise.

This game looks interesting. My only question is how well will it hold up as a single player game?

I don't know why, but I read the title as "a potent combination of Spiritfairer and Spirited Away," which would be a pretty interesting premise as long as the game could pull off the emotional storytelling.

So, now I'm a bit disappointed because I wasn't a huge fan of Overcooked's gameplay.

Thankfully I reread the title before I left a comment that made me seem like a complete idiot.

@Flashlink99 If one do switch was the free tie in game like Wii sports was, then I would agree with you. But as a standalone $60 game, It is a terrible overpriced cash grab.

@Anachronism Wait this game is a rogue-like. Well that just kills all my interest in this game.

It looks like too much of a knockoff at this point. Maybe later on it'll start diverging on its own path, but until then I'm not really interested.

@Vexx234 You also lose the interactive component when you translate a game to a movie/TV/book. This is something that I feel will always make videogame adaptations worse.

I loved Blue Fire. It was the best 3D platformer I played this year.

I wouldn't have bothered to watch the game awards, if it weren't for my friends attending the show in person.

@BenAV If the game is coming in March 2022, and then a game awards reveal would probably make sense. But if the game is coming late in 2022 or later then it's way too early.

I really enjoyed P.N.03. The game was really short but I remember playing it multiple times to unlock all the content.

Well if I am being honest, I'm not sure if my desire was from enjoying the gameplay, or the attractive woman in a form fitting cat suit dancing through the stage.

I normally love 3D collectathons, but I can't get pass the aesthetic. I do not like this art style one bit.

I am not a fan of this art style, especially the main character. I'll probably pass on this game, which is unfortunate because I love 3D platformers.

I think I will return to play this DLC, when I get a chance.

@mr12calvin The pro controller and joy-cons already connect to the Switch via Bluetooth.

I was so happy to see the GameCube take the crown by a landslide.

I enjoyed the fact that there was hidden dialogue for avoiding Sidon. I've gotten that dialogue every time after my first playthrough.

I'll say the same thing that I always say when these discussions happen.

There is no problem with someone cheating, modifying, hacking, or any other kind of manipulation with a single player game. It only becomes a problem when you're playing a multiplayer game and your modification affects another player's experience, without their permission.

It seems that the other companies gave Nintendo the victory for this E3. I tried not to get my hopes up too much and I enjoyed Nintendo's presentation. I was surprised there were plenty of games both myself and my sister will be excited for.

I'm not a big fan of this series but my sister loves it.

The only new games I played this month are Smelter and Subnautica. So far I'm enjoying both games.

I first read this as "what is the best game boy color color?" And I thought obviously it's atomic purple. I was a little confused when they were asking about the games.

Does anyone know why the matches allow up to 64 players? Or is this just a reference to the greatest console of all time?

@gcunit It seems the double pack is available physically. I just pre-ordered it from Amazon.

I try not to get too excited for the directs or any presentation. It helps me to appreciate what games we are actually getting, and not get myself upset that my wild expectations are not met.

If If Samus is going to be released in fortnite then that announcement should correspond with an announcement for a new Metroid game.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the other two soundtracks are available on YouTube Music yet, hopefully they will be coming.

I don't have a Spotify account, but if Square will add this to YouTube Music then I definitely will listen to it.

When my joy-con a were drifting, I decided to swap out the entire Switch shell. I was surprised by the large selection on Amazon by BASSTIO AND eXtremeRate. But of course, I only had one real option, nostalgia being what it is, I had to go with the atomic purple shell. Since that was the color of my Game boy Color back in the day.

Personally I didn't find the swap to be that difficult, but then again I am familiar with taking apart electronics. Swapping the plate on the back of the Switch itself is very easy. It only requires removing a few screws, and there is a metal sheet covering up the electronics underneath that plastic backing. The joycons themselves were a bit more difficult but weren't bad to replace.

@SwitchForce What are you talking about? The game that is this heavily inspired by Nights would definitely be appealing to the people that played Nights originally. And they would all be adults now.

And just because the game is not focused on violence doesn't necessarily mean it isn't a game adults would enjoy, and review poorly. Super Lucky's Tale is a game designed for a younger audience and it still reviewed well. Many Nintendo games are enjoyed and designed for both younger and older audiences.

@MarcusIsCool Sadly there was a remake of both Dragon Warrior Monsters 1 and 2 for the 3DS, but for whatever reason they decided not to localize the games. So if you can speak Japanese you're good to go, otherwise you're out of luck. Also both versions of DWM2 were remade into one game.

Dragon Warrior Monsters 1 and 2 were two of my favorite GBC games.

@ReaperX That was my take away too. Pass on both of them and play Stardew Valley.

This was about what I expected from the game. You just need to look at the trailers for this game and for Rune Factory 5, and you can clearly tell that the developers didn't put nearly as much effort into this game. If I'm being honest, the announcement of an expansion pass for this game was a huge turnoff and warning sign for me.

It seems that Stardew Valley has maintained its crown. Which is good because there is still plenty of content from the latest free update that I haven't experienced yet.

Hopefully, Rune Factory 5 will have a much better showing.

I could never get into Animal Crossing. I think it's a combination of the art style and real time nature of the game. I'll stick with Stardew Valley.

The demo of Balan Underworld was terrible. Going from the well done cutscenes to the flat gameplay just makes the game look terrible. Not to mention how bad the movement and level design is.
