We're at the end of another month, and May brought some rather fun games to our charming little Switch systems. A number in our team have been solving the mysteries in both Famicom Detective Club titles, while Miitopia picked up on the strong momentum - and excitement over its Mii creation tools - to have a pretty good launch.
There were plenty of download goodies too, and Nintendo of Europe has done its usual sub-minute eShop highlights round-up to showcase a small number of standouts. It's been a decent month regardless of budgets, take a look above.
Let us know how many of these games you've played, and share your own May eShop highlights in the comments!

Only given Super BombermanR a go, enjoyed the few matches I had. Gets super hectic in the end game 💣
I'm hooked on Knockout City! loving it! Will be playing for a long time.
The only game in that video I'm remotely interested in is The Colonists and even that's been getting fairly mixed reviews so I'd need a decent sale to be tempted.
I think the Famicom Detective Club games (which are really great) are the only new eShop exclusives I picked up this month unless I'm forgetting something. Everything else I bought had an English physical release.
Got too many games to play
But Miitopia, Layton Mystery Journey, and Dungeon Warfare got most of my playtime in May, while New Pokémon Snap and Monster Hunter Rise still wait for their chance to be plugged in.
Knockout City is the best game I've played in ages. Highly recommend. Haven't played 64 player Bomberman in months. Must jump back in and try it again. I feel it's gonna be much tougher to get Bomber One now with all the extra players playing.
I was going the get The Colonists on Switch, but optes for PC instead. It's a great game.
Jetboard Joust is just a jem.
I've been far too busy recently, but there's a few here that certainly have my eye.
Knockout City is so good and fun. I hope it will be free in the future. If they don't, nobody buys this game and game will die because EA.
@JokerCK It's included on Gamepass so it's gonna get a big user base from the start from there alone. Plus the free trial has converted plenty from being on the fence to buying it. Like myself. Only €20 too. Great price.
Haven't played any of them. Or bought a new Switch game in months, for that matter.
The only new games I played this month are Smelter and Subnautica. So far I'm enjoying both games.
