Think this will be the last one I watch. All my main fave characters have had their time to shine. Not really bothered about anything past Sonic Adventure 2.
Not had the chance to get to the cinema with the kids yet so it’s welcome news I can just get the home release now 😀
So they used the original switch for comparison to make it more drastic. It’s barely different to the oled. I’m not too bothered though. I just want more juice so that Minecraft runs better than 2fps. Even S&V is less jerky.
I’m expecting this set to be a lot easier to entice people in. Got a lot of free packs due to the beginner advance goals. If they don’t exist in the next set I can see people then going premium through fomo.
Right now I just enjoy opening free packs each day. Beats buying packs of physical cards that are full of repeats.
I've been alive to play all of them when they originally released. Younger me wants me to say Super Mario World for #1 but now me thinks that Super Mario Galaxy was just next level fun. The mechanics were just so different.
I may have to opt for the ps5 version then. Having to do that a lot nowadays. I love my Switch but there are too many games now struggling on the old tech.
@Doctor-Moo It’s fine if you stay in one area most of the time but adventuring is horrendous. If you move faster than walking speed you get lag and when you use any of the method of transport options it comes to a stop while the loading catches up.
I lasted about a week on the switch then bought the ps5 version. My wife who doesn’t care about fps is noticing it more now and will likely switch soon as well. I’d recommend iOS android options over switch as they run better
All this time since the original article and SOTN is still not on the switch. What is Konami doing? Maybe they’ll get round to it after finishing with Suikoden.
FIFA (whatever its name is now) is free on ps plus this month and you still can’t get me to add it to my library EA. As somebody said if EA do it others will follow suit. I’m glad I’m old enough to have enjoyed gaming for 40 years before it goes down the crapper.
Wondering if I should buy 1000 copies of this game. So glad Suikoden is getting a re-release. Suikoden is one of my top 10 game but can’t justify eBay prices to replay it
Whatever they do just do the opposite of what Disney is doing right now. Please don’t rush loads of content out. I don’t need a new film each year to eventually get bored of
I think i could enjoy it if it was like Lord of The Rings quality. I thought the Elve’s ears looked good in it. Please get the Hylian ears right.
I like to see more inclusiveness in games but it really needs to be a setting where we choose our direction. RF5 wasn’t well thought out. It just felt like everybody but the old were horny for me.
@Princess_Lilly - I buy Splatoon digitally so that my daughter and I can play at the same time. Her switch is the main and I play on my profile on my switch. I’d need 2 physical otherwise
There is a difference between hard and tedious which is where my issues have been. I completed the game easily enough as like others I explored while playing through but it’s the post game I’m suffering.
It’s not a good solution when I have to leave the game open and watch Netflix while I wait for a 10 minute in game timer to complete. Can’t do anything else in the game as you have to stay where you are.
In BOTW I could spend an hour grinding the specific material I wanted and then on to the next thing I wanted to do.
Nintendo is doing this more now. I used to love Animal crossing. I’d put it on fish some sharks and have a good chill session. Now it’s all about okay do it for a bit but then you need to go and grind these materials to build a new rod. It makes the game last longer but not as much fun.
@ZealMajin - You realise that the article mentions the glitches being fixed in a previous update and so the comments are relevant. Nintendolife keeps fanning the flames
I’d argue that good glitches keep a game going well past its lifespan. Look at BOTW and Inventory slot transfer. It’s so fun to break the game and it creates a community.
@larryisaman - without saying too much most of the techniques from BOTW got nerfed horrendously e.g. Rupees methods, some materials (now require a 10 minute cool-down).
Those who are enjoying most likely used the dupe glitch to remove the horrendous grind.
I’m not trying to be too negative because I love all Zelda games and I really enjoyed the story elements and the start area (which just became irrelevant later on).
I kept playing because I refused to give up on a Zelda game.
Completed it and don’t feel the need to go back. The grind in this game is terrible. BOTW just felt like a more fun game. The amount of times I’ve felt bored in this game is unreal.

Re: Talking Point: Did All The Switch 2 Leaks 'Damage' Nintendo Or The Console's Reveal?
It’s almost the same bloody console. Switch 1 ruined the reveal 😀

@ecco6t9 no big loss. Ubisoft games have been rubbish and or re-skins for years

Some of the best Star Wars content we’ve had in ages 😜
Re: Video: Konami Uploads Suikoden Opening Trailer Ahead Of I & II HD Remaster Release
Suikoden 1 rekindled my love for RPGs again. Vandal hearts was awesome as well.
Day 1 for me

@Axecon
So that’s why the one of the cast made me think of Lucy. Might give this a try.

Re: Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Has Been Delayed Again
Last year I was excited for Suikoden and this. Guess I won’t see either of these this year. Might revisit the 3ds Fantasy Life
Re: Critically-Panned 'Borderlands' Movie Flops At The Box Office
I’ll make my own judgement on it. What do critics know, they think the acolyte is good 😜

Re: LEGO Unveils 'Great Deku Tree 2-In-1' Zelda Set, Pre-Orders Now Available
Would buy it but not at that price. Even on sale I can’t see this going for less that £200 which is still too much.

Re: Nintendo Will Continue To Support Physical Media And "Maximise" All Software Sales
I go physical because usually I can get better deals. I have no problem with digital though as I buy pc games on Steam.
Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Xbox's Grounded For Switch?
Gone for the ps5 limited run version instead. Think they will have to make too many compromises to get the game running well on the switch

Re: Minecraft's Latest Update Is Now Live, Here Are The Patch Notes
Only just got in to Minecraft but easily jumped to one of my top games. Not been addicted to a game as much since TOTK. Happy to see any new additions
Re: Poll: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Free Epilogue Lands On Switch Today, Will You Be Playing It?
Not available to download for me yet. Just tried. 2pm UK Time?
Re: The Pokémon Company Outlines Fixes For Scarlet & Violet's Next Update
Please please please fix synchro to stop shiny ko. I can cope with the poor frame rates I have experienced thus far

Bring past Fables to the switch then please 😝
Re: Level-5 To Celebrate 25th Anniversary With Release Date Announcements
Waiting on fantasy life but I fully expect a delay now given that Crimbo is getting close and still no “2023” release date.
I’m okay with a delay though. I love the first one so take as much time as needed for the second
Re: Review: Rune Factory 3 Special - The Same Great Farm Sim/RPG, Though 'Special' Is A Stretch
I never got to play 3 due to Uni. Still gonna play this one eventually but with Fae farm out this week I’m waiting to see which to get.

I thought that was Misty for a second there.
Re: New Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC Trailer Reveals Past-Gen Starters & Much More
This is good news. A few of those are from the 15 missing Pokémon still not in a switch game
Re: Random: One Piece's Netflix Star Would "Love" To Play Zelda: Wind Waker
As a massive One Piece fan I think the article should focus on how terrible the movie looks not how to make more equally bad content.
Anime doesn’t always equate to good movies. I think Death Note is the exception to the rule.
Re: Talking Point: Should The Pokémon Company Stick To Just One Pokémon Presents A Year?
Alex’s video is the best part of this event. You sir are a legend
Re: Soapbox: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC Is A Chance To Win Back Disenchanted Fans
It needs to not be lifeless. Lots of Pokemon but the towns were lacking character
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Is Targeting A 2024 Release For The Switch Successor
Why would they release it next year? TOTK has just dropped. If it was that close they could have used it as a launch title.
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Metroidvania Games
SOTN still not on the switch, the switch is the perfect platform for it and has a massive user base to warrant it. Ori is a close second best then.
Re: Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Delayed To 2024
I can wait. Like mentioned above Suikoden 1 and 2 on the horizon
Re: Rune Factory 3 Special Trailer Introduces All The Ladies You'll Be Flirting With

Re: Reminder: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Xenoblade Chronicles amiibo Are Out Today
Mine arrived safely. Very well packaged which makes a nice change. Usually I get collectors items with poor packaging and then damaged goods

Re: Handheld Consoles Will Need Easily-Switchable Batteries By 2027, Says New EU Regulation
The battery life is one of the main reasons I’m considering a replacement of my og switch.
If I use official paths they’ll probably accidentally loose my unpatched switch and third party you don’t know what quality battery they are using.
I’d pay to purchase official Nintendo batteries that I could replace myself
Re: Random: Nintendo Advises Against Blowing Into Your Switch Cartridge Slots
I’ve been blowing since the Atari. Always solved my problems and not created new ones. Think I’d struggle to get my Harry into the game card slot

Sickening when companies pay big wages to them and then give stock options as well. I’m looking at you Apple.

The game works just because it’s Pokémon with a huge fanbase and practical use outside of the go app when used with the mainline series.
