I booted this up again the other day for I think the first time in a year. I think the break got rid of my fomo (because I missed so much in that year) and I’m free to not feel compelled to play it anymore day in day out.

It feels to me that they’re trying to give older gamers some interesting changes in spinoffs. The mainline still needs to appeal to the younger gamers so they can merch the crap out of it.

Personally I would love more Xenoblade in Pokemon as turn based is so dated now. Ive been here since Red. I want some fresh changes and that’s why I loved Arceus so much.

All 3 games and their dlc are great. Hope at some point they can move 2 onto the newer engine as it runs like crap compared to the others now. That fight in the factory with some lv 100 drivers on Mor Ardain must have gone down to 3 fps. I had no idea I had won the fight until the game caught up.

I’m still waiting for the big ps5 games. Nothing has interested me this Gen on PlayStation. Mine is for Minecraft or replaying last of us. All of which I could still play on my ps4.

Nintendo will continue to win as they have the good IPs. If I can get hold of a Switch 2 it will be a day one purchase for me.

I’m the complete opposite in opinion to most. I’m really looking forward to it. Don’t take it too seriously as I don’t think the film is.

I just hope that they show scenes of them dying to a creeper and having to start another hardcore world over and over.

I lost interest when I felt it was becoming a second job. Liverpool raids are pretty poop unless it’s a community day in my experience.

All my fave Pokemon end up behind a paywall.

Gave up on this ages ago when I felt the grind kick in. Waiting on the new legends game now to scratch that Pokemon itch.

Think this will be the last one I watch. All my main fave characters have had their time to shine. Not really bothered about anything past Sonic Adventure 2.

Not had the chance to get to the cinema with the kids yet so it’s welcome news I can just get the home release now 😀

It’s almost the same bloody console. Switch 1 ruined the reveal 😀

So they used the original switch for comparison to make it more drastic. It’s barely different to the oled. I’m not too bothered though. I just want more juice so that Minecraft runs better than 2fps. Even S&V is less jerky.

Suikoden 1 rekindled my love for RPGs again. Vandal hearts was awesome as well.

Day 1 for me

I’m expecting this set to be a lot easier to entice people in. Got a lot of free packs due to the beginner advance goals. If they don’t exist in the next set I can see people then going premium through fomo.

Right now I just enjoy opening free packs each day. Beats buying packs of physical cards that are full of repeats.

I've been alive to play all of them when they originally released. Younger me wants me to say Super Mario World for #1 but now me thinks that Super Mario Galaxy was just next level fun. The mechanics were just so different.

Last year I was excited for Suikoden and this. Guess I won’t see either of these this year. Might revisit the 3ds Fantasy Life

I’ll make my own judgement on it. What do critics know, they think the acolyte is good 😜

I may have to opt for the ps5 version then. Having to do that a lot nowadays. I love my
Switch but there are too many games now struggling on the old tech.

Would buy it but not at that price. Even on sale I can’t see this going for less that £200 which is still too much.

@Doctor-Moo It’s fine if you stay in one area most of the time but adventuring is horrendous. If you move faster than walking speed you get lag and when you use any of the method of transport options it comes to a stop while the loading catches up.

I lasted about a week on the switch then bought the ps5 version. My wife who doesn’t care about fps is noticing it more now and will likely switch soon as well. I’d recommend iOS android options over switch as they run better

FIFA (whatever its name is now) is free on ps plus this month and you still can’t get me to add it to my library EA. As somebody said if EA do it others will follow suit. I’m glad I’m old enough to have enjoyed gaming for 40 years before it goes down the crapper.

I go physical because usually I can get better deals. I have no problem with digital though as I buy pc games on Steam.

Gone for the ps5 limited run version instead. Think they will have to make too many compromises to get the game running well on the switch

Wondering if I should buy 1000 copies of this game. So glad Suikoden is getting a re-release. Suikoden is one of my top 10 game but can’t justify eBay prices to replay it

Only just got in to Minecraft but easily jumped to one of my top games. Not been addicted to a game as much since TOTK. Happy to see any new additions

I never got to play 3 due to Uni. Still gonna play this one eventually but with Fae farm out this week I’m waiting to see which to get.

As a massive One Piece fan I think the article should focus on how terrible the movie looks not how to make more equally bad content.

Anime doesn’t always equate to good movies. I think Death Note is the exception to the rule.

Why would they release it next year? TOTK has just dropped. If it was that close they could have used it as a launch title.

SOTN still not on the switch, the switch is the perfect platform for it and has a massive user base to warrant it. Ori is a close second best then.

I like to see more inclusiveness in games but it really needs to be a setting where we choose our direction. RF5 wasn’t well thought out. It just felt like everybody but the old were horny for me.

Mine arrived safely. Very well packaged which makes a nice change. Usually I get collectors items with poor packaging and then damaged goods

@Princess_Lilly - I buy Splatoon digitally so that my daughter and I can play at the same time. Her switch is the main and I play on my profile on my switch. I’d need 2 physical otherwise

The battery life is one of the main reasons I’m considering a replacement of my og switch.

If I use official paths they’ll probably accidentally loose my unpatched switch and third party you don’t know what quality battery they are using.

I’d pay to purchase official Nintendo batteries that I could replace myself

I’ve been blowing since the Atari. Always solved my problems and not created new ones. Think I’d struggle to get my Harry into the game card slot
