Re: Tales Of The Shire: A The Lord Of The Rings Game Updated On Switch

@HalfAWorldAway I think a lot has to do with a self fulfilling prophecy. Lord of the rings is one of the larger ips, hence it probably gets a lot of clicks on this website. If the review or whatever article is written on this website gets a lot of views they are probably more likely to assume people want more info about the game in general. They just are giving the people what they want, and as a business that just makes more sense. I click on a cute cat video on YouTube, youtube gives me more cat videos. We did it to ourselves...

Went straight from ninja ragebound to this. I think I will enjoy this more, the combat system is more refined. The levels have some optional challenge rooms. Ragebound was pretty solid with a handful of secrets, but probably won't go back for hard mode. I think the one thing about ragebound i disliked is you kinda got most of your skills at about level 3 so the rest of the game seems similar.

@nessisonett and that is the thing I personally dont like about Diablo. "The game doesn't really begin until you beat it" I would just want to play the story mode and move onto something else. This design choice annoys me, while some people like it. It is very rare for me to play and enjoy power creep games, or get to level 99 and hope you get good loot.

@OwenGamer22 oh yeah, I said self: "Self, that game looks kinda cool" then never thought about it again.

I wonder if our friends @Nintendolife would be willing to research games like that. Top 10 games that were released in chapters but were never completed. Structure by which one had thr most potential

@DylanMcGrann fair points and it has been a while since ive played. I also have a lot of metroidvania experience, personally I think 3d shooters are impossible but I also dont like them so I'm not willing to "deal with it".
I guess not too difficult for me shouldn't be seen as easy for other people, I enjoy a little difficulty because other wise it gets boring like Axiom2. I dont even know if you can lose in that game and it made it boring, hollowknight had a fair difficulty they didnt just give you the win but once you know the patterns I belive most people can beat it with time.

Is the base game of hollow knight really that hard? Some of the optional bosses get really difficult (dream bosses, grimme troop dlc, the coliseum), but just beating the game isnt too difficult.
I think it gives a good range of people like me that just want to play through the story and a little bit extra to people who want to do the optional extreme stuff.
