@PJOReilly haha great things about books, video games, and movies is there is something for almost everyone. I have a type also: hades2, silksong, Rogue PoP (slightly too easy, even adding heat), mp4 (like an 8 but not trash as people say), and surprisingly dk bonanza was a lot of fun.
I've always found these games to be extremely difficult. Some reason my mind just cant grasp the idea of how to get the items back to my ship before night time.
I have been around for all of these but I would go with the gamecube, rogue squadron and nhl hitz and wave race. At the time people were kind of put off on a nintendo console launching with a Luigi game, and that game was kinda fun too.
Rogue Prince of Persia, already beat the story and probably will do a few more runs. The endgame difficulty system really needs a change, as im playing on max heat allowed so far and it is still pretty easy. I wish they would just give you access to all the stones at one time instead of slowly unlocking them.
@Res462 the triforc3 quest on the original gamecube or the hd remakes? I agree it is similar to the HD remake but I knew where the items/parts I needed were through scanning logs and had gotten a lot of crystal through playing. Now getting 100 percent crystals was annoying but only took like 20 minutes. The original tri-force quest was quite awful with turning all the maps in to tingle
@GrailUK they even added the talk to miles button in the options, call if needed. I've said it on here before in my personal opinion it doesn't let the game breath, and takes you out of the immersion of having to find a way to the next thing that is a major point of metroid type games. In saying this I still believe it is a solid game. Im going to wait for potential patches/updates hopefully before I play it again on hard. Also trying to 100 percent Rogue Ptince of Persia
@GrailUK yeah when I heard the complaints about the troopers I was worried, but honestly they are fine. The only problem i had was whenever you left a zone miles would tell you where to go next. If they patched that one thing out or gave an option to completely turn it off I think the game would be immensely improved
After getting 100 percent this game is an 8, a little disappointing but it is better than prime 3 and other m. It is mostly fun, just too streamlined for metroid and probably more enemy variety. Also that ending...let's just say my wife was ticked off when she watched the last fight.
@Cipher36 the list is evolving as people go and rate games. It was 10 earlier today. Hades 2 was first for a while. The system is still recording rankings, so the list is constantly changing based on user "reviews" or people juat saying "hey I want to give Hades 2 a 0 to lower its score" and so on.
I would be interested in seeing how many votes that games got, I would but more stock into a game with 1000 votes than a game with only a few votes that were mostly high.
@Enigk I played a lot of dead cells so that is probably why the game came across as very easy. I use the twin blades that give a bonus after vaulting. If you are struggling on Bataar you can kick the bombs that follow you around for major damage.
Game is really fun, I agree it is on the easy side for this genre. My two complaints are the art style is hideous, and one of the boss fights is way too long.
@Teksette Lodoss war was fun but I was so confused about the story, then realized there was a whole TV show and Manga. Game is on the easy side if you want a chill Symphony clone
I think Laika is an ok game, I dont know about gem as motorcycle metroidvania with a odd pacing and some really annoying check point placements/fast travel system. The game has solid music, but i really feel like a lot of people would bounce off it after a few hours. Also that final boss, mini ramp thing ugghhh
Be safe out there, no clue what happened in this incident, but we let almost anyone drive in America and a good percentage of those people seem to always be in a rush, distracted or just plain selfish on the road.
Ouch the nintendolife.com review for this game, I played through the main game and a bunch of side quests before patches and I really only thought the car stuff was rough but playable. Honestly maybe I just dont care or notice frame rate that much
Myles isnt bad at all, it was the decision to have him guide you every time you left an area that was misguided. I have a radio meant for hints. I dont need a hint every time I get an item then go to the main hub area. Also turn off the dang thing that shows you where home base is every time you need to go there. Otherwise I really enjoyed the game
Not a big Marvel fan but I did wish list cosmic invasion as I just have too much to play currently. I like to beat everything I purchase so I can wait.
My biggest tip for this fight is before heading to the tower, for the love of God go to a save station and refill health and ammo before doing the point of no return.
@Anachronism I get everything digitally so im not concerned by keycard vs fully physical. Since Im obviously not in a rush to play village. I can wait. Thanks for the heads up
I like 4 a lot more than 3, the knock for me is prime 4 is pretty on rails for a metroid game. But overall the game has been really fun so far, I think im close to the end
Just wish for the days of robust single player campaigns, this game is making a lot of money so it probably isnt going away from the multi-player/online model.
Game is pretty fun, definitely needs more levels or boss options. So sick of fighting Karai and leatherhead, as even the optional tough variants are too similar to there original form. Really this game overall needs more variety
Just glad the shop is significantly better. I wish there was more sorting settings, or folders because my digital game library after 8 years is getting large

@EarthboundBenjy what is wrong with Samus in a bikini or zero suit? Intergalactic bounty hunters need some sunshine too.
Re: Opinion: I Reviewed 25 Switch 2 Games In 2025, And These Are My Top 3 Picks
Wow he picked 3 games i have zero interest in playing, still good information.
Re: Talking Point: Our 2026 Nintendo And Switch 2 Predictions
I go with wave race also, plus let the switch 1 die. It was fun, it was great, but the only way forward is forward. Burn it if you have to
