I've been keeping an eye on Amazon UK. Amiibos are still 10£-13£ directly from Amazon. If you guys keep buyin them for 15£ from other retailers then they'll just increase it again like ShopTo charging 19.85£ now.

@BlueBlurIxM
I got the squid bundle for 39.99€ from Amazon Spain. Plus 5€ shipping to Italy so that's 45€. Still better than 51€ from my local GameStop. If you're buying from Amazon Europe, I recommend buying from Amazon Spain and France since they cost 5-10€ less than SRP. Wave 1 amiibos went for as low as 9.90€ from Spain. I got wave 2 from France for as low as 10.85€ each (69.60€ for all 6 including shipping). I got the N3DS for 157€ too.

@tsukipon
Their normal price was 10£(Amazon UK). Then it became 11.99£. Then 12.99£. Then 14.99£. Now ShopTo is 19.90£ something. Actually Amazon UK listed the Splatoon amiibos for 12.99£ for a week then it went up 14.99£. If the British consumers don't speak/stand up then 15-20£ will be the norm.

66% shipped in North America and there are still shortages. And some or half of those shipped in Japan and Europe are being exported to NA as well. There's something wrong. Are they sabotaging Nintendo? Or just the problem with scalpers?

Anyway, I can't believe ShopTo UK is charging 20£ for amiibos while they are only 13$ in the US.

Yeah because the minigames are the core content of Splatoon. /s On-disc DLC behind amiibo pay wall? Nah, you just refuse to buy an accessory (aka amiibo).

It's like refusing to buy Wiimotes for Mario Party 10, Wii Sports Club, Wii Party U, Nintendo Land etc and calling Nintendo is locking away contents on those games behind "Wiimote paywall".

The only problem is there's a high demand on amiibos it isn't enough. Plus you also have to fight for your copies against scalpers.
