Or you can get it now and start playing. The contents will eventually come. Plus you'll miss some events, probably some limited items from these events. You'll be playing catch up if you wait that long and could be overwhelming for you by then. It's fun. You guys are missing a lot.

I don't think it's being lazy. As I said earlier, the game was like 10-20% complete since its reveal last year. Also a game map in 1997 isn't as complicated as maps in 2015.

Yeah because they didn't announce we're getting free updates (game modes, maps, features) in the future right? Obviously this game isn't complete yet but they'd rather (or they need) to release it now rather than later. It was a multiplayer game first like COD, BF, Destiny, Titanfall so why are you guys expecting a meaty single player content? I read somewhere (Iwata Asks) that the game was like 10-20% (not sure about the exact number) when it was revealed last E3.

The amiibo contents? The review said they just took some stages available on the base game and just added challenges and bonus costumes on it. Not really a big deal unless you prefer the main contents (online multi) of the game locked behind amiibo?

@Savino
Jose Otero from IGN said we'll expect the review on the 27th. That said, you'll get mostly a review in progress even on Nintendo Life since they'll test the online functionality on launch first before finalizing the review.

When they asked for new IP, it doesn't mean they have to buy a new IP though. Personally I find the the settings and the characters uninteresting. I'm not saying it's a bad game, I liked the demo and will buy it down the line but the setting and the characters especially the enemies are boring.

While I think Codename STEAM is a good game, the story and the characters/setting are uninteresting. The enemies are boring. That said I will get this eventually. It's just that I'm on Wii U and amiibo mode right now on my spendings and still have 3DS games waiting to be played on my N3DS.

It should have been a Wii U title IMO. Better graphics, gyro controls on the gamepad and all. I would have gotten it day one. Plus this was delayed in Europe and Japan so the hype already died down...
