@ThomasBW84
I have a feeling while everyone else in the industry will be April-fooling tomorrow, Nintendo will drop major bombs that will catch everyone off-guard leaving their jaws on the floor to pick up. I expect E3 2014-level Direct with already confirmed Treehouse streaming. Isn't Famitsu teasing a new major game? That's just my hunch on the Direct tomorrow.
Azure Striker Gunvolt which will take some minutes on the Direct. I mean is that really necessary? Is the game worth the hype like Shovel Knight (which is both WiiU and 3DS release) when it came to Europe?
I'm tempted to get 3D World. I love the soundtrack. But I need more one code so my Stars will be over 9000! Who knows some amiibos or LE controllers pop up. I thought it's the last day of registration here in Europe tomorrow. Are you guys sure it'll be until September?
@Artwark You are overreacting. I'm sure he's comment aren't meant to be taken seriously. Not even a female would be offended unless you're an extremist. Anyway I prefer Rottytops hands down over Shantae!
@RCMADIAX Good luck man. I'm not gonna tell you to go away or stay. But a bit of advice: ignore the haters and develop a thick skin even more when dealing with them. You handled them professionally well here in Nintendo Life as far as I know. I can't believe you sound like whining and blaming the Wii U owners in general on Twitter.
@Grumblevolcano The NX could be a Super Wii U --> INSIDE <-- a gamepad slim with gyroscopic 3D that can be hooked on a TV making it a hybrid Wii U x 3DS.
@JaxonH
I love Nintendo remakes mainly because it uses motion/gyro control aiming along with the visual upgrade. I don't care if it's for the Wii U or 3DS. I can't stand using R Stick since going full PC after the SNES, Megadrive and PSOne days.
@sinalefa Personally, I'd prefer N64 and GC games to be remastered since they need visual upgrade and improvements on gameplay and controls. It's a win win for both Nintendo and the consumers. It's not like the N64 and GC have huge first/2nd party titles. Nintendo releasing VC versions won't give them much profit. Releasing the VC versions first and the remaster version later will just hurt sales. Players especially new ones won't be inclined to buy old games with dated graphics/gameplay. It could hurt their respective franchise too. Why not release a remaster and in the game itself you can access the original version?
I'd like Nintendo to remaster most of their N64 and GC games and forget about their VC versions and move on. Offer NES, SNES, GB, GBC, and GBA on both Wii U and N3DS as crossbuy. Release Wii VC on Wii U and DS VC on the N3DS if possible.
I just want to say thank the goddesses for the motion controls (wiimote) on Skyward Sword and gyro-assisted aiming on the gamepad. I can't stand playing Wind Waker HD (all fps in consoles in general) on the pro controller when aiming with Link's weapons. The gamepad's gyro controls is awesome for me who came from mouse and keyboard controls. I think it's the reason I quit console gaming back then after the SNES, Megadrive and PSOne when they've introduced the "sticks" on their successors.
@Sir_JBizzle Well the Smash Peach amiibo doesn't look like the Peach I know. I'm glad I didn't pre/order one before. The same feel with Smash Yoshi amiibo. I guess I'll need to see the Super Peach and Yoshi up close first before I decide. Thanks!
Is the Super Peach really look that bad? Or just in the video? I haven't seen one yet personally. I held on buying Smash Peach, Smash Bowser and Smash Yoshi when they announced the Super Mario line. I may double dip on Super Luigi since it looks better than Smash Luigi. Maybe Mario too.
@Quorthon I still don't see why would someone say the gamepad damaged the Wii U. The problem with the Wii is that it didn't include the CCPro. The Wii U gamepad is basically a pro controller with gyro and a touchscreen attached. Pikmin 3 and Kirby U uses it the best IMO more than Zombi U and Rayman.
And are you blaming early Wii U adopters for not supporting Ubisoft's ZombiU? Zombi U bombed because it's a horror game. If there is to blame, it's Ubisoft themselves. They should have gone with Rayman Legends at launch as exclusive then announced it's going multiplat 9 months later.
@MysticX
The Wii U launched for like 300 bucks and the competition for 400 & 500. Nintendo could have added more power for additional 100-200 bucks on the price while retaining the gamepad. Also sometimes innovation is a double edge sword. You risk things or sacrifice one thing. I personally don't think the gamepad is at fault. The gamepad is awesome. It just didn't have a huge wow factor at first glance. I didn't mind it when I bought one. You won't actually realize it's awesome until you own and use one.
@JaxonH
I meant Yorumi. Anyway, I think the main reason the WiiU isn't selling while the PS4 do is that the Wii U was on par graphically with the PS3 and X360 when it was releases. No reason to upgrade or jump to Nintendo. There was little or no wow factor on the gamepad like the wiimote did on the Wii. The PS4 and X1 did with a huge leap on graphics and it wowed the console gamers. The PS4 is better that's why you see the PS4 leading (also because XBox shot themselves on their always kinnected announcement). I mean look at the latest poll on why gamers preferred the PS4. "Better resolution/graphics".
@JaxonH You were arguing with someone who thinks Nintendo should go full 3rd party based on his comments on the other DeNA article.
Also to all Gamepad haters who says it's a gimmick: it's actually what's keeping the Wii U alive. And it's the best feature of the hardware. Remove it and try to compare to the PS4 sand XOne and look where it stands.
@AlexOlney Nintendo should totally make a limited edition Splatoon Wii U console with paint splattered all over the console itself and not just the gamepad.
I think this is the game that has the biggest potential to sell Wii U consoles more than MK8 or Smash combined. They better put a lot of resources on this. Offer vast character customizations (clothes, weapons, details), polished gameplay both local and online, interesting and well thought lore, then heavily hype and advertise it. You can't find anything like this from the competition. Also they better support it until the Wii U's lifespan. More DLCs, more maps, more game modes to keep it fresh.
The gospel according to @JaxonH. Preach! If Nintendo Life will implement friend/follow system, you'd be the first on my list. Thank you!
Q, Y and the occasional G here are spreading negativity in the comments section like they always do in every related articles. 'Makes me think they are plants/propagandists.
@gatorboi352 Troll on. We like the gamepad features. Gyro controls (I personally hate right stick aiming), easier for browsing, inventory management and off-tv play. It's just a pro controller with more features. You don't want to use it? Buy a pro controller. Get over it.

It would have been a better game for me if it uses full gyro aiming. The zombies are all over me before I can even aim on their heads properly

They've abandoned the Wii U for this:

WTF!? That's it for the Wii U!? I hope a direct this week with additional announcements.
Edit:
No I don't hope so. They better damn have a Nintendo Direct this week with more releases for the Wii U this week.

Why not Mario Sunshine HD + Luigi's Mansion HD together? maybe Eternal Darkness HD and Path of Radiance HD for the hardcore.

Release Mario Sunshine HD and Luigi's Mansion (GameCube,) HD! Also Path of Radiance HD along with Radiant Dawn Wii VC!
