To think US buyers also import from EU and Japan...

We use to have plenty here in Europe but with the high demand from US, EU consumers are now buying them all to sell on eBay. Amazon sells out fast within minutes. I have to rely on GameStop to preorder the moment preorders goes live to secure one so I won't have to pay more than 15€ each.

This is a server stress test. Who said it'll be the only one? Maybe Nintendo didn't announce there'll be more test with different times in the coming weeks to get as many players as possible on Saturday. Maybe they'll add more contents on the demo later. Maybe they won't. I'm just glad we get a chance to try the game before the release date.

I gotta agree on the narrator. I watched the EU version first and was like "whaaa?" on the US version. I think there are slight differences on some item localizations/names though which I find the US version way better/cooler.

I got one preorder for 45€ (40€ + 5€ shipping). I'm selling the disc for 30€ and keeping the squid and buying it digitally.

I agree. Amiibo content is amiibo content. The problem is amiibo should be easily accessible.

I didn't expect the minigames to be locked behind amiibo though. It should only be the costumes and challenges. That said, at least the mini games aren't the "core" game contents.

Who said this will be the only testfire schedule? It certainly be the first. Who knows they'll add some more contents on the demo later. And diverse times for the server test.

It has always been like that even when the exchange rate was 1€=1.3$. A 60$ game will be 60€ in Europe. Until Splatoon, which I think will be a 40$ game by tomorrow. Or may still be 60$ but with season pass included.

1$ is to 1€ in every retail game here in Europe. Especially Nintendo games. Splatoon was originally listed at 60€ but went down to 40€. Yoshi Woolly from 60€ down to 50€ with the bundle listed as 60€. I actually got the squid+game bundle for 40€ (discounted, originally 50€) from Amazon Spain. I don't understand why it's still 60$ in the US. Maybe the US Direct tomorrow will answer some things.

Why do you always assume everyone who defends Nintendo have all the same thinking/views about the company? If you make a counter argument on someone, whether it's @JaxonH, @aaron_sullivan and co, you always throw what other Nintendo fans says or at least what you think Nintendo fans "in general" says. Have you seen me personally championing Nintendo in innovation and creativity? I didn't, but I like what they are offering. It suits me.

We defend Nintendo because we could live without voice chat. It's their vision, it's their decision. Deal with it. You don't want it? Don't buy it! That simple. The Wii U isn't selling well? That's Nintendo's problem. Not ours.

Anyway, I've never played a Kirby game before until the Kirby Wii sale 3 weeks ago. Then I went to buy Kirby NES, Kirby Super, and Kirby GBA Nightmare. I will buy Kirby U tomorrow. And that's my fondest Kirby memories folks.

I emailed Nintendo of Italy. They said they'll do something in the coming months to bring enough amiibo and will continue to do so until demands are met and apologize for the shortages.

Kirby U for me although I think the delay will only mean less sales. It could have been better if it was simultaneously released with US. Plus Splatoon in 4 weeks. Same with Codename STEAM.

Are you sure? I was able to register last week. Kirby Wii and 3D Sonic.

I have almost 12000 stars. Another 500 today for the Sin&Punishment since they give a bonus if 250 stars lately. Yes I can still register downloads which I thought ended last April 20.

I agree with some comments here. The animation is still horrible. The screen scrolling still feels like it's skipping frames because of the running animation. Getting it on the eShop but will first wait for reviews just in case.
