Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U squid shooter, Splatoon, features many cute, cuddly and also streetwise sea creatures in it. Arguably the most adorable is the Inkling’s squid transformation. The way these characters effortlessly swim, slide and splash about in ink is mesmerising.

With this in mind, Japan will receive the above (front) and below (back) pictured Splatoon squid cushions – available in lime green and orange – this July for the price of 2800 yen. The dimensions of these stuffed squid pillows are W33 × D9 × H35cm.
