@Super_Gravy I take it you are unaware that they did patch MK7 to remove the Wuhu glitch. You cannot play online without installing the update that fixes it.

@N4LIFE Yup. Anyone who says it looks like the same game, or that they can't tell the difference between one and two, haven't played Splatoon much (if at all).

Cool, every single time I tried to play Blast Ball online, I would get an error, despite being able to play the campaign online without issue. Maybe I'll give it a go, even though Blast Ball seems a bit shallow.

I am all for a system lasting as long as possible. The notion of "it's old now, give us the new thing!" boggles my mind. I paid for the system, I want it go for as many years as is reasonable.

I don't see why there should be any sort of "woo 30th anniversary!" at all. 25th makes sense, as will 50th. But if you want to celebrate every five years, we might as well just do it every single year. It's a bit ridiculous.

Megamix isn't out yet in Europe, hence the lack of a review (I assume).

Regarding amiibo and Splatoon, I remember in some article one of the devs mentioned they wanted Splatoon to be it's own unique thing, rather than start pumping full of Mario franchise stuff from the get go.

If they don't protect their IP in every situation, they may lose the ability to protect it at all. Even if Nintendo loved this, they cannot let it be.

Also DKCR is a possible reward! Hope it arrives on eshop soon...

I love downloading all my games, as the price of extra storage is worth it for the convenience (before someone says I'm too lazy to change a disc, I do take my systems with me to places which means a lot less to carry). Price isn't a big deal, because in Canada we never see new Nintendo games for sale until they have been out for quite a while.

The only frustration I have is editions with bonuses. Twilight Princess HD has an amiibo, that Nintendo does not yet sell separately here. It's a pain.

Hey now, Stunt Racer 64 was a cool game they release after this one.

Maybe NES games you buy on 3DS can be downloaded to your WiiU as well (you know, the way it should be!)

I might still get the amiibo because I think it looks great, but I'm glad to see this content is meaningless... we already have cave of ordeals!

I find it frustrating that pre ordering a game to get its amiibo is only for physical discs, not the option for a download code bundle as well. Ninty, if you offer discs and downloads, try having bundles to match.

Otherwise, as long as the amiibo are readily available, I'm happy. If I have to import the Wolf Link amiibo from Japan for double the price because Nintendo thought it was OK to just send two per store over here, I'll be unhappy.

Too many RPGs Only thing I want is Twlight Princess.

Far too few games that interest me lately. Infinitely playable stuff like Splatoon and MH4 are the only saving graces.

Splatoon has truly reminded me just how much fun a game can be. Simple, honest, outright fun. Rather than playing a check list, walking from a to b, I keep on playing it because everything feels just so good.

None of the th DLC released has convinced me to buy it, so at least my wallet thanks me.

I agree with faint, their games are all good, but that's it. Just solid, functional games lacking a real appeal. Plus, I absolutely loathed Mutant Mudds, yet that's their most revered game.

This looks incredible, cannot wait to play it!

Once again, the USA and North America are not the same thing. Launching an ebay store in the state does not mean they launched one in Canda and Mexico as well.

@RainbowGazelle The best part is when an amiibo is exclusive to Target, which doesn't exist in Canada anymore.

All of this is why if there's an amiibo I want, I buy it from Japan. Zero hassle for the slight extra cost is fine with me.

To those saying we shouldn't complain that single player is poorly done, I will happily point you to the Four Swords games. Phenomenal fun with friends, but thanks to the controls (press a button to gather up the Links, for example), still a very enjoyable and easy to play game for the loner!

MK8 was great, Splatoon is smart as it keeps people interested, but Smash... the prices are a bit steep as it is, but I could stomach it if buying for both 3DS and WiiU wasn't extra.

I like the idea, but I'm guessing it's more of the same Lego/TT gameplay, and featuring a ton of licensed themes... not my style of game.

I keep hoping for another Lego property based game, like Undercover was, and this at least seems to partly fit the bill. The licensed Lego sets and games have never really appealed to me.

@ToastyYogurt I agree. The concept of amiibo I like, and I have quite a few, but this direct really just enforced that content is locked away unless you buy some costly figurines. Suddenly a $70 game becomes $100 (assuming the three pack is $30) to get the full experience. No thanks, Nintendo.
