The never ending stream of new amiibo figures continues moving at a rather brisk pace and although recent times with stock issues have been better, it's still not an easy task to find some of the more in-demand amiibo at a nearby store or for a reasonable price. Retailer exclusivity doesn't exactly help solve this issue, as it essentially bottlenecks the already limited supply and alienates potential buyers that don't have a particular chain store nearby. Nonetheless, retailer exclusive amiibo continue to release, and – if several sources are to be believed – we can add three more amiibo to this list soon.
An image of an advertisement for Toys "R" Us has been circulating around the internet which appears to confirm that the Mii Fighters 3-pack will be sold exclusively at the retailer in North America. While there has yet to be any sort of official confirmation of this, multiple sites and sources have spotted and shared this same ad. In any event, the Mii Fighters will launch on 1st November in the region, so we'll likely have official word in the next few weeks.
Do you think the Mii Fighters will be Toys "R" Us exclusives or is this faked? Will you be picking up the Mii Fighters when they launch? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

Probably... yep... this is what the first comment looks like... get over it...
@GamePerson19 Shots fired.
I found them all three in a store in the netherlands. they're not exclusive.
and the store wasn't toys "R" us, it was Bart Smit (google it)
...I don't care anymore, I gave up on Amiibo.
I mean I'm mad that Nintendo is still limiting where u get amiibo but on the other hand stock has been great so this a 50 50 chance.
@nimbas1103 "in North America", not "in the Netherlands". Different regions = different business deals.
For people interested, the Mii Fighters will unlock new costumes for Yoshi in Wooly World. It's nice that they supported them in a game outside of Smash.
Aww.. I was hoping this three pack wouldn't be exclusive. Would've been nice to get these for $28 with my GCU discount:(
Also, it would be nice if you could use these in Mario Kart 8 to finally get rid of the stupid, forced helmets on your Mii. It would be nice to see different styles of hair while racing.. Like how it was in Mario Kart Wii...
If it is true, I will certainly appreciate the heads-up! Can't wait to be able to get ahold of these...after all, they're called a-MII-bo.
Saw a Mii Swordfighter in GAME, a few days ago.....Alongside a certain Rosalina and Little Mac...
They are already released in EU but are not released in NA so that's why europeans see them in the stores
I really feel sorry for North Americans having to put up with multiple store exclusives every wave. There aren't any whatsoever here in the UK.
@90sRetroGaming
BestBuy insists on doing in store only now, and it pisses me off.
I don't do in store. Too much trouble, time driving, it's just really inconvenient. The discount from GCU is more than consumed by the gas and time driving there. I really wish they'd start selling online again- that's the one thing that bugs me.
@RainbowGazelle The best part is when an amiibo is exclusive to Target, which doesn't exist in Canada anymore.
All of this is why if there's an amiibo I want, I buy it from Japan. Zero hassle for the slight extra cost is fine with me.
I'm so glad that I don't live in North America, they're already hard to find here in Europe.
I already got the retro 3 pack (rob, g&w, dog) as a Game Stop exclusive so an exclusive Mii 3-pack for Toys-R-Us does not surprise.
Got all three from Japan already
I could imagine buffing these up--as opposed to other characters' amiibo--using equipment, and team up with friends to try to take down the Lv. 50 boss: myself!
I'm past the point where I'm sick of store exclusivity, but at least now we know it's only temporary, at least for some amiibo.
I don't care. I'm not interested in this pack anyway. I'm more interested in a Splatoon pack restock.
I'll get this. It wasn't hard at all to get Dr mario or bowser jr. last wave and gamestop still had retro 3 packs just sitting in shelves.
I collect one of each amiibo but am considering not picking these up. One Mii would have been fine but three is excessive, similiar to the different colored yarn Yoshi's. How many AC amiibo are going to be released? 8? 10? 20?? I regret my decision to collect these things. It was fun during the first 2 waves. Now it's an annoying money pit.
Can we just all agree retailer exclusive Amiibo are just anti-consumer already? To the poor sods that still try to collect these things rather than just give up on them or get an Amiiqo, having to run to different stores just to complete their collection has zero benefit to them.
In fact, I'd argue Amiibo are anti-consumer themselves, locking content behind a physical toy that you have to jump through hoops to obtain in some regions? I know I'd personally rather have DLC that anyone can purchase without falling prey to scalpers. But I digress, that's a different topic.
I don't mind retailer exclusives, but toys R us is terrible at handling their exclusive amiibo. They never put up pages for them on their site. Lucario was never available online from them to my knowledge. Same for Bowser Jr, but I didn't check for that one after release day. Searching for said amiibo on their website would always bring up either no search results or something completely irrelevant. So I guess exclusives are good for toys r us, because otherwise I would never walk into one of their stores.
Mii amiibo are already buyable for about 2 weeks in the netherlands... didn't know they weren't available in america yet.
@nimbas1103
Well that's terrific for you. I'd like to point out it says "North America."
@Tempestryke You missed it, it was just restocked last month.
@Squidling That sucks. I didn't see them anywhere. : (
I don't want these Amiibo, but the store exclusives are definitely very annoying.
This is really stupid. Not everyone in America has a toys r us or even a best buy. My nearest for either of those two stores are 2.5 hours away. If this is the case and they go out really fast online I may simply just luck out on em
I hate exclusives and I hate Miis. Getting these suckers from Europe to complete the Smash set.
I don't care for these stock Mii Amiibos. What I'd REALLY want is a custom Amiibo of my Mii. That would be sweet!!
Getting mine Friday from Japan. (I honestly thought it would be a while b4 they came out)
If these Amiibo have to be store I'm glad its through TRU. So far from my experience TRU has handled the exclusive situation far better than other retailers. And judging from the stock situation from the last wave there should be plenty of supply for everyone who doesn't wait around forever to purchase them. In my area there are still multiples of Bowser Jr. available for purchase on TRU shelves.
Prob gonna pick up all 3. Love the idea of Mii figures
There are loads of them in Akihabara.
welp I guess I'll be importing...my Toys R Us is on the other side of town...if I didn't work so much I'd hop over there but with my schedule...yeah no. At least best buy is around the corner.
Well, I was a having a good run not having to import...
Eh, only a few more until my collection's complete anyway.
@Ryu_Niiyama: I know exactly where you're coming from. Nearest Toys R Us for me is about a 45 minute to 1 hour drive.
I'm cool with this as my local Toys "R" Us is really great about only allowing one amiibo per customer.
My wife picked up Captain Falcon, Greninja, & Lucario on Friday @ Toys "R" Us but she called before she went in. The lady told her that it was only 1 amiibo per customer. My wife called me back upset, thinking that she could only buy 1 amiibo. I calmly explained to her that the person meant 1 of a certain type of amiibo per customer, and I explained to my wife why I support this.....and then everything worked out.
So, GO TOYS "R" US for Amiibo!!!!!!!
Exclusivity is always a bad business for customers. I totally disagree with this decision if proven true.
