@Mgalens Exactly! It's fine to be excited for the game, but boy, the performance overall and animations of the 2D characters are rough, even compared to SNES or PS1... I hope they will be able to optimize this for switch.
Why? I mean... Why?
If you want to do some Fan-Service, add Skins for the 1995 Movie Cast. No one, really no one connects JCVD with Johny Cage. He is Commander Guile, period...
Steep price compared to the main game, yet it's just the price of a set menu at BK or McDonalds. Definetly will get this DLC, even for the cause of supporting the Devs for creating this awesome game!
if there would be a SNES Themed switch, this dock would be tempting. But pairing it with a original switch will just not look great in my imagination..m
The last South Park 3D game I played was the FPS many years ago. The only funny thing about it was , that you could pee on snow balls before throwing them. The rest was just meh... But, never say never...!
@ottoecamn The issue for FF fans is that FF16 as a single game is obviously an awesome game. But it's not a "classic" Final Fantasy in many regards according to the feedback. So yeah if you are looking for classic FF elementd then people feel betrayed.
That's actually something I really love about BotW and TotK. They are no classic Zelda Games, but they so many elements to make you feel at home
@arabiansanchez I guess he referres to Ultra Hand and so on, since you don't have to build warships what's so ever to beat the game, bit of you want, you very well can do. In my Point of View, BotW and TotK both provide s story as a frame work and a "guide" to explore Hyrule and to encourage you to be creative and get crazy (in a positive way). The core of both games is very "sandbox" style. I really love it
@Guybrush-Threepwood I think the people who complain are the ones who want to max out everything, which is not necessary to beat the game. but if you want to have 8 Batteries for example, I doubt that you can find enough Sonau Chrystal's by normal Exploration...
@ZealMajin I also don't agree with every comment, however to everyone their own. No need to calls others opinions laughable. Each should enjoy the game in their way. Especially since BotW we know there is no right or wrong for this Zelda generation.
I also don't understand why Nintendo fixed the glitches in the first place... In gaming history, Devs implemented Cheat codes which no one ever would guess like up, down, down, a, b, x, up whatever and published them in magazines so people could use it. If I would be a director of a game, I would insist on implementing cheats or glitches in an offline single player game.
@EarthboundBenjy I haven't played FF16. But it's funny, almost everything you like about Xenoblade (which I also really like), is what made old FF games great. FF7 for example was my first experience with the franchise (beside spin offs like Mystique Quest on Gameboy). And it had a serious Story, but a lot of humor inside. Lovely characters, not just shallow people with no personality. A big open world (of course not as pretty as Xenoblade, since it was PS1) to discover lots of things beside the main story (breeding Chocobos, hunting for Materia, find that overpowered unique enemies...). The battle system invited for experiments with the Materia System (basically magic) and so much more... At least until FFX they followed this formula, so I loved this franchise from FF7 to FFX. Haven't played newer installment, yet... So yeah, actually Monolith learned from them, but seems like Square Enix forgot their own qualities and skills...
Settler II Gold Edition! Don't know how many hours/years I spend in this game! Glad to see that the original Studio, Blue Byte, still exists inside Ubisoft! I'm sure this project is in good hands!
@HammerGalladeBro I would say it's possible, but not so easy, because the infrared bar is static and need a controller to point at. could work, but the. you always need a bar to connect to the decide and recalibrate before each session. I don't think it can really work ..
@Eagly but then sites like pushsquare should ask themselves, if this game really is a 8 if GOW is a 10. Because 8 still means it's a really really good game rating...
Lol how can Bart's Nightmare be 5th place? The lived up to it's name. however, I never played any other Simpson game, but how bad can they be if Bart's Nightmare hits 5th place? could it be, that the votes are not balanced by how many people voted for one game?
I owned Bart's Nightmare as a kid. Was a total nightmare for me. One of the hardest games I've ever played and I never made it through some kind of ending. Some Mini Games were awesome, but the overall concept was a real nightmare 😵
Surprised that no one commented on the fact, that actually Platinums Statement triggered her to post these videos... So either there is more to the story or PG was not making an honest statement...
I didn't like the first one and only played due to the limited number of games for Switch at that time. Now I read here that the first part is superior to the second one... Good, no need to spend any money on this physical release, then!
@msvt yeah I also like the first one a lot, even I usually don't like tactic games...
But same here, gaming time is rare these days... and the backlog gets bigger n bigger...
@KayFiOS "little wooden demons" 😂 I also gave up on them... got around 700 or so in my playthrough a d was satisfied. I would also use a guide to find all, so it would just be a chore... let's see what they will have offer for the next one! my main hurdle will be "no time" since life circumstances changed since breath of the wild 😜
@KayFiOS you have some valid points. however, I really didn't miss it that much during my playthrough. I enjoyed that game so damn much, the only thing I would criticize is the soundtrack. actually not the soundtrack itself, but somehow the music was not as present as in previous entries. But everything else fit so nice together, it's incredible I know many people complain about the weapons breaking and so on, but for me it gave the game this "complete" touch. so much love for details if you like to see it
@KayFiOS I hope they "fix" none of those (beside the cutscenes, but that was part of the story, man!). all of this is exactly what made breath of the wild so good!
I'm really looking forward to this one, as I enjoyed the first one a lot. Still, I'm really wondering why they choose almost exactly the same classes as in the first one. I was hoping for something new...
I have no legal background or anything, but I'm wondering... If you sign a contract, you should know that you need money to fight for it in court. If your whole business model is build up without any legal consultants or money for consultation, then the contract is not worth the paper and ink it's written with.
Now I can only speak for Germany, but private person's and companies can buy an insurance Tom over legal fees. If you think you cannot defend yourself in court and win (that's the important part), then this kind of insurance is a live saver.
Another thing I don't understand: before hiring a lawyer, In sure you can pay a small fee to let the lawyer asses the situation and documents and then give you and advice to go through with it or let it go.
All speculation here if the Dev has any insurance like this or did any consultation, but the whole situation is still very blurry to make any assumption as a third viewer.
doesn't sound like they revealed the whole story. Gameboy and Playboy are too similar to be a coincidence... one of both companies, or probably even both, knew what the other one was doing. probably it had a completely different name beforehand and as soon as they got to know about the Gameboy, they knew they will not be able to compete with Nintendo. So why go down with a little humor and brand it Playboy?
P.s.: that is just my imagination, no proof whatsoever!
@demacho same thinking. I love their retro controllers and use them on switch for SNES style games. also very good for multiplayer if you don't want to buy 4 pair of joy cons or pro controller to game with friends. in these cases, Gyro, nfc and rumble are not mandatory. but this controller here is s different story. It's only for a specific audience. if you want the best overall package for switch, still the Nintendo Pro Controller is the right choice imho.
@Crockin I personally don't like this development in the game industry. It is good to add more content in the future, definitely! Nevertheless, we are talking about a 60$+ new game here, which offer obviously not much new. The extra content will set me back another 25-30$, so in total almost 100.
My point is, they should include something new in the base game and then build up on that, not the other way round. Just my 2 cents
@BenAV I completely agree that there is no need to change a successful formular for a game like Splatoon.
BUT it does not negate the idea of something new, total wild and unexpected. They could keep the old formula but still include a new mode or something to attract casual players and veterans alike!
@FishyS actually,.the mechanics are explained quite detailed in XC1 and 2, bit it's a written tutorial. The playable tutorial just covers the basics, the details are written in some kind of in-game handbook. Not sure about XC3. it also sounds like the reviewer didn't play the previous entries, otherwise should be easy!
for the playing time: the games are BIG! the first 2 entries really made it entertaining to actually complete side quests. so 100+ is a normal time...
@AndyMK84 the German Nintendo website was just stating "you will get an email notification when pre orders start before the release of the game". but what we are discussing now is nonsense anyway... they have some issues with the supply chain and have to postpone... it's crazy times anyway... if you participated in the wonderful 101 kickstarter catastrophe, this here is nothing
@AndyMK84 actually, there was no window announced before, they just said "before the release". actually, this way you can save some bucks because you don't have to buy the game full price from Nintendo, but can get a good deal at a retailer don't get me wrong, I basically checked the Nintendo website daily to not miss the pre-order. As I'm currently in China it's actually good that I can buy the CE stiff separately and just get the cartridge here ✌️
