This guy could easily charge like 5 bucks for each update. The people would pay and no one would complain. But it's awesome what he doing with this game. Making it bigger and better. For free!
@Apportal: my personal opinion is, it's worth it! If you are too overwhelmed, use the wiki. I for example did not spend hundreds of hours to find out what fish can be catched at what condition or time year. If you want to do this by yourself, you need to take notes. So I used the wiki. This will not spoil the fun but prevents frustration

@Kalmaro it's pretty awesome what you can do with just water and flour. Once it's active, you don't need yeast anymore.

For the starter, you just need water and flour and it actually works with with every flour. If later on, you want to "switch" from e.g. all purpose flour sour dough to whole wheat or something, it's also pretty easy. Just feed it with whole wheat flour and done.

It's really cool! Enjoy and don't let failures stop you and drop the project! It's part of it

@Tyranexx Don't listen to @Barok. It's easy: if you enjoyed XC1 you should play future connect. If you enjoy XC2 play Torna. Why not finish a game you like? Just because some friends of a guy in a forum says it's meeh?
Especially for Future Connect, which you already own (I recommend getting Torna quite early, because it includes the expansion pass, which you can benefit from in the normal game).

My personal opinion bus, that both extension have a great story, completely not comparable, one addresses the future, one the past.
What I personally did not like is the change of battle systems ins both expansions. Why is that? Because I spent a lot of time using and mastering the normal battle systems in XC1 and XC2, then it's replaced by a interior battle system. But that's my personal taste.

Long story short: don't let other's decide for you, decide for yourself

@Link41x what stops you from changing the region in your Nintendo account to US and buy these games? I regularly do this from Germany. With the exchange rate it's even cheaper for me

@leon_s_k never said that it's a bad thing. I was wondering about the wording in the article, because what NL wrote is just a nice way to say they copied BotW, which they clearly didn't. It's an action RPG and and drawing inspiration from Zelda comes with the genre in my opinion. Personally I hope it took inspiration from BotW because, like you said that's a good thing

@Shulkalot I totally agree! Bayo 1-2 were ok in terms of difficulty, but TW101 was too arcade sometimes. You basically have to repeat some areas 5-6 time until you figure out what to do, how to kill the enemy or how to solve the puzzle. The game itself is great and I haven't played anything like it before. But having basically 80% Plastic performance rating is also not so great in terms of motivation. Especially the shoot em up parts were ruined by the ***** camera paired with unfair one hit death logics...

@meltendo @thugpipe it was on sale some weeks ago on the eShop and physical at best buy. But it was not 40, more like 48 digital and 45 physical. But that's basically 1-2 Starbucks coffee away from your price

@RPGamer I always like to believe I am capable of doing this with a good instruction. But I already messed up some smaller things, so my hit and miss rate is roughly 80%. Maybe I should look for a second hand Wii on eBay and give it a try

@RPGamer No, I think definitely not. On the Twitter Page of G-Boy they actually retweeted this guy's post here. Seems to be a healthy Hy community that supports each other.
Actually y I like this new version better, it has more "Wii-Look" and I think the Display is of higher quality compared to G-Boy.
Anyway, I'm not brave enough to cut my Wii and spend over 300 bucks for this...

@andykara2003 he did, pretty awesome kit, but very expressive. Also, since having the Switch, it would be awesome if they would somehow make it possible not still use it like a normal Wii and hook it up to the TV. Maybe via a USB-C Dongle?

Considering what you have to pay for the GameBoy version now, I think some people would pay 30 bucks for three Gameboy games, yes!
Check the Arcade Archives games. Usually 6,99€ each game. Buy three and it's already 21€ for three digital games. So sure, I would pay 9€ on top to get it physical. That's my opinion, because I.love to own the games ✌️

@Bass_X0 yeah that might get be true, but I guess it was the NA release. According to Wikipedia, it was never released in Europe, so there is no localized version for other languages. All other Square Soft games from that time that got released in Europe also got localized versions.

@Bass_X0 yeah, totally agree! Huge waste of opportunities to release an awesome collection physically! For Europe, it's the first time the games are officially released, at least the original game boy version.
But following your logic, the price for the collection should be very low, because no cartridge!

Oh man, I just checked the full price... Just the cartridge ist 14€ shipping, so in total 49€ Just for the cartridge. Come on, every eBay seller can do international shipping cheaper...

It would be nice to see actual DMG footage. The colors in the video fit the game perfectly, but for sure it will look different on an actual GameBoy. I just recently pimped mine with backlight and this would be a nice game to try out the backlight extensively

So, the article doesn't mention if cross region play is possible with friend codes. The sentence on the website says "matchmaking", so I think this restriction is about playing with random people rather then friends. I guess we need to wait until the game is published to really know how it works...

It reminds me of the guy who shot pictures of the Shanghai Grandprix using a Gameboy Camera with a Smartphone snap on lens. I think the result ist quite similar. More pictures not this DSLR Mod here would be nice.

Just checked their website. They have unboxing videos and it clearly shows USB C. The port on the controllers is also clearly USB C in the video. Maybe the screenshots are prototypes? Also, the last picture on Amazon and the Box in the video shows "dual motors". So rumble should be present, probably no HD rumble, though (my guess). And no NFC...

This would be awesome! It's probably tricky to get the performance right on switch, as you don't want a frame dipper game. If I don't have a PS5 at that time, I will get it on Switch.
I almost pre ordered the PS4 CE as it came with a full size deck. Would looks cool on the wall.

@sword_9mm Naaaah, that's not fair to say that only pixel art games run good on Switch. There are lot of great looking and well performing games on Switch!

I really want to like this game, but the first one was far away from goody especially because of the controlls. It felt like an unpolished mobile port and I really had to push myself to finish it. The devs were lucky that there was not much choice at the time when they released Oceanhorn on Switch... The second one looks really good, but if the controlls are similar, I have to give this one a hard pass.

@Razer regarding metroid: onn the one hand this would be very disappointing, on the other hand it's better to have a good and polished game that take it's time for developing

@Razer I still have some 100+ games in my backlog (DQ11, Fire Emblem, Tales of Vesperia), so I think this will keep me going until the PS5 drops.
Nevertheless, if there are more good Switch games I am always ready to go back. Specifically waiting for more Zelda, Bayonetta 3, Metroid (and hopefully they make a remake of the trilogy, as I never played it) and others which I don't know yet.

Is this game worth so much attention? I never played a Suda51 game, just because not a single game trailer made me click with it. But it doesn't sound like it's the end of the world if it's not happening...

@Rohanrocks88 we still don't know if this is a respectful act from epic... I mean, if you want to sell your product in a supermarket, for sure the supermarket takes it share to do this for you. But you have the benefit to display it to a lot of customers all over the country/world. Sure, in my example the customer pays this service, but the same here. I the end, epics share will not be much higher, but they got a lot of attention again...

@Expa0 it's actually just like anything else that you like and spend money on... It's so popular with young people, they really want to be special in the game, so they spend money for the extra items. On top, you have seasons which cost in game money. I think it's possible to play it completely for free, but needs a lot is skill and time.

I mean, every one had something useless they spend money on when they were young. Today's grown ups will say "at least I bought physical things! I own them!" Time change

Beside that, I never paid for a f2p game but sometimes was really tempted...
