Bummer. It's a really fun game, but it was DOA online, unless you had an 8 player group to play with. Even if you had a 4 player team, the matchmaking could take a few minutes and you'd still get matched up with a team of 2 humans and 2 bots.

I thought the shape was pretty similar to Bret "Hitman" Hart's sunglasses. The color is definitely more like Doc's though.

It's a lot better. Before the patch, out of the last 12 battles I had, 4 of them were counted as draws due to players disconnecting. In the twenty-something battles I've had post patch, haven't seen any DCs. Still an occasional coms error in the lobby, but nowhere near as often compared to pre-patch. Good job, Nintendo. For now.

The original Legend of Zelda on NES when I was 6 years old. Even though there are objectively better Zelda games, it was still my favorite until Breath of the Wild. Now get off my lawn, you darn whippersnappers!

Ai: The Somnium Files is one of the best videogame stories I've played in recent memory. I loved the sequel too, just not quite as much as the first.

For me it's probably a gold plastic bag with a poster and temporary tattoos that you could only get by pre-ordering Ocarina of Time at Electronics Boutique in the U.S. in 1998. Games wise, probably my big box Lunar 1 and 2 for PS1, the latter has Lucia's pendant, but I no longer have the Ghaleon boxing puppet.

I'm pretty sure I'm responsible for about 40 or 50 of those 38 million sales. My favorite series, and I second that we need new games. X9, Legends 3, MM12, Bring 'Em All On Man! (Unconfirmed future Mega Man robot master.)

@Neph Trails in the Sky trilogy still isn't on any modern console, just PC, PSP and Vita. The 3rd game in the trilogy is only available in English on PC.

I've been debating whether to pick this up on Switch or PS5 (where I played the first AI.) If the only issue on Switch is a little slowdown in some cutscenes, I think it's probably worth it to be able to play in handheld.

As a certified Falcom lunatic, I gotta check this out just for Popful Mail. Also, Lunar 1 and 2 on PS1 are two of my favorite games of all time, but I've never tried the originals, so I hope those are on this too.

I wouldn't exactly call them "sad" games, but Final Fantasy 7 and Super Metroid. Those of you who played them know what I'm talking about, and y'all know you cried the first time you saw it. Don't try to lie!

I hope DQ X Offline gets an English release, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of DQIII HD2D. Prediction: DQXII comes out before Metroid Prime 4.

Nice! I loved Fata Morgana even though there is no gameplay whatsoever. I'm interested to see the devs make a game where you have more control of the action. Looking forward to this!

I'm in NA so it doesn't affect me, but I'm going digital with this game too, I'd be a little upset if the digital version got delayed because of shipping issues with the physical version.

@EriXz I played the fan translation just last year and I think it's just as good as most official translations these days. They nailed the story and the humor, if you have a chance to get it, get it.

I wish Nintendo would do with Mother 3 what NISA are doing with Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure. Games that came out on PSP in Japan in 2010-11, didn't get official translations, got great fan translations, now in 2022-23 they're coming to the west on Switch, PS4 and PC using the fan translation as the foundation of the official translation. Nintendo would never do such a thing, but we can dream. I'd say if you really want to play Mother 3, get the fan translation, I played it on a GBA repro cart. I'm sure most people reading this article have a GBA or DS that can play GBA games laying around the house somewhere.

One of my most anticipated games, I've already played all of Sky and Cold Steel, can't wait to finally fill in the Crossbell gap. Hopefully there is enough space between this game and Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
