We did it folks! We made it through the barrage of game releases — more commonly known as 'September' — and we live to write another day! Though October is looking just as packed... *gulp*
Here at Nintendo Life, we've played through the unofficial Super Mario Bros. 5 fan game made entirely in Super Mario Maker 2, gotten silly with life sims and lauded Lord of the Rings RPGs of old. It has also been an exciting week as we found out not only that Cuphead would be getting a physical release, but we got our first look at Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's newest 'mon Wiglett — he's quite the weird little fella!
After getting a hands-on sneak peek at Sonic Frontiers, perhaps we will be turning to some of the hedgehog's former adventures in preparation this weekend. Or maybe, after sharing our thoughts on Tunic and reviewing Let's Build a Zoo, we'll be checking out both of those!
Well, below, you can find out what our wonderful writers will be playing as they've shared their weekend gaming plans. As always, we want to hear from you all too! Have a read and then be sure to share your video game schedule in the comments below — enjoy!

I bought a Splatoon 3 OLED as a birthday treat for myself – and my goodness that screen really makes a difference, doesn’t it? I’ve been dipping into Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (again) and the colours really pop on the OLED — I know it doesn't run amazing in handheld mode, but my in-bed Xenoblade gaming has improved tenfold. Have I run out of things to do yet? Of course I haven’t. I can’t put it down even though I’m in the postgame!
Otherwise, I’m getting ready for some of the big October releases. I’m going back to Bayonetta and finally checking that one off my backlog, and also revisiting Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. And, in terms of new stuff, I’m going to give Let’s Build a Zoo a spin. Spliced animals? What a horror show! But I’m in all the way.

There is an awful lot that I am hoping to play this weekend. The amount that I will actually play may be a different discussion — one which is entirely dependent on how I am feeling about my bank balance.
Let's be optimistic here. I really want to sink my teeth into Tunic and Shovel Knight Dig. Two very different games admittedly, but nonetheless, ones that have instantly grabbed me with their visuals — seeing either one of these on the OLED? Chef's kiss.
I'm also yet to really crack open my copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, so it would be great to get some totally tubular action in if I find time between these new purchases. Ol' reliable as I am becoming, there will undoubtedly be some Splatoon 3-ing in the meantime - consider me well and truly hooked.

I’m not sure how much time I’ll get this weekend to play games, but I’ll try and sneak in a bit more Bayonetta 2 here and there if possible. I’m getting close to wrapping it up now, so I’m keen to just get it done. Otherwise, there’s not a whole lot else I’m looking to dive into! I’d like to buy Return to Monkey Island soon, but I’m going to replay the first two games first to refresh my memory a bit, so that’s on hold for the time being.

While my journey in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 edges ever closer to its conclusion, it is hard to ignore the fact that the eShop absolutely exploded this week. Shmup junkies like myself are more than covered with Moon Dancer and both versions of Bullet Soul being among the finest representation of the genre. 16-bit shovelling action is guaranteed with Shovel Knight Dig, oppressive souls-like Metroidvania is covered by Moonscars, zen city building will be happening in Dorfromantik, and hypnotizing trains are in motion with RAILGRADE. All that while the physical box of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero is teasing me for my JRPG time slot. 48 hours simply won’t cut it this time!
Game of the week is Tunic. It was a long and hard wait for this gem to land on the Switch but it was well worth it; it is truly something quite special.

This weekend, I'll be... mostly working on my side projects. Woo! But also, AI: The Somnium Files is about to get knocked off Game Pass, so I'm going to try to finish it before then. And since I finally finished 13 Sentinels (wooooo!) maybe I can get started on Danganronpa, which I bought in one of the recent sales. I've played it before, but I want to play it again.
As ever, thank you for reading! Make sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!

Relentlessly I am continuing my odyssey in the unforgiving universe of Dark Souls!
This week I've beaten Dark Souls 2 and now I started Dark Souls 3. Currently I am in the Undead Settlement after beating Vordt of the Boreal Valley. Still in the beginning and many "You Died" screens are awaiting me!
October is the perfect month for Dark Souls and Bloodborne!
Happy gaming!!!
Mostly just Splatoon 3 at the moment as there's some good Salmon Run rotations this weekend and maybe a little Idol Manager if I find time.
2 Very different games. The Spirit and the Mouse and Dead Space 2.
Maybe add some Rocket robot on wheels in there too
I played these games. 🙂
1. K-1 World MAX 2005 PS2
2. Portal Knights PS4
3. My Universe: School Teacher PS4
In addition to continuing on with stuff like Splatoon 3 and Pokemon Unite, I'll also hopefully be trying Pokemon Snap for the very first time. I've heard it's very short which works very well with me since I have a lot of work to catch up on this weekend as well. Overall, less active than previous weeks but still some good times to be had all the same.
This October I’ll be taking 2 space horrors for a spin: Doom 3 (Switch) and Dead Space 2 (Steam Deck).
Also I will be trying to finish off Resident Evil 4 VR. It’s been great to play this classic in first person but it’s so physical I can only play for an hour at a time.
Backlog count: 97 games
Trails from Zero and Splatoon 3.
@Aispen Hi, is the Spirit And The Mouse worth buying please? 🤔😊
I’m playing a lot of Splatoon 3 still.
Mostly Anarchy an maybe a little bit Salmon Run and Story Mode. Might even try out Tableturf Battle. And it’s about time to freshen up my locker.
I’m playing Soul Hackers 2. My expectations are in check and it’s certainly not as visceral an experience as the SMT series greats.
But coming back to fusing the demons and filling the map dungeon crawling, it’s so comforting. Which sounds more like playing Pokémon than SMT - cozying up with it. I’m really enjoying it.
I’ll be continuing Two Point Campus and FE Warriors Three Hopes. Also spending more time with TMNT Cowabunga collection.
I downloaded Picross s8 yesterday so I can do the odd puzzle here and there.
Moonscars and Splatoon 3.
Also picked up Astral Chain - not played before but it's one that's spent a long time in the wishlist!
More Splatoon 3 (mainly Salmon Run and possibly finishing Story Mode), and Slime-san.
And since it's October now, I might start up Letter Quest Remastered again today (seriously, great indie gem!) for a third playthrough, this time on Expert difficulty.
Hype The Time Quest is a much better game than I expected. It is difficult but rewarding. And the medieval fantasy atmosphere is really great. Feels like good stuff from the 90s.
Continuing my play through of Xenoblade 2. Never played any of the xenoblade games, but when 3 was announced on a Direct, I became interested in the series. Happy to have gotten into the series!
Also dabbling in Tunic and No Mans Sky on Game Pass because I’d be very interested in getting them on Switch if they play well. I had a wonderfully deja vu / nostalgic moment with my 2 yr old daughter though while starting Tunic… she was pressing the buttons on the controller to open chests and cut through grass. My first game when I was younger was the Legend of Zelda on the NES.
bayonetta 1&2, starting today with 1.
and klonoa 1&2.
Splatoon for me, and sorry everyone some Fifa 23!🤣
This week I will be mostly playing
Splatoon 3 (final Alterna stage 🤬)
Phantasy Star
Pokémon Shuffle
Shantae
Still playing xenoblade chronicles 3..
@MattAllsopp
I've only played it for an hour but i enjoy it. Exploring a french town as a mouse. You help people and collect stuff. It's really chill
I found a mint complete boxed copy of Lufia for the SNES for a decent price so I'll be booting up my old SNES and trying that for the first time.
Couldn't pass it up and I love playing them on the original hardware.
Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories
I'm almost at the end if Neon White after playing it for quite a few weeks now. I've platinumed run every course (+gift) so far which has slowed me down but I don't mind, really good game and I'm getting sad at the thought its almost over.
But that means a new spot will open for another game to fill. I'm thinking either Sin and Punishment, Cult of the Lamb, Mark of the ninja, The World ends with you, New Pokémon Snap or maybe something on sale like the Messenger or Cross Code.
My playthroughs of Xeno 3, Ringfit and Splatoon 3 continue and I'm not in a rush to finish those either!
Tunic. Its nice that a new game that I want to play came out on switch.
@xxMPJxx how dare you play Fifa! 😂 Ok I'll forgive you as you're a Splatoon fan....
@Pepa27 I found Astral Chain took a bit of getting use too but once I did it was really, really good so Enjoy!
I'm finally at the end of Bayonetta 2, so finishing that off and maybe starting up Beacon Pines or possibly trying to actually finish Resident Evil 1 for once in my life. I always get lost or lose steam halfway through and tap out.
@Aispen Thank you, I may treat myself then 😊👍🏻 It looks to have a Ratatouille vibe to it all 😊
I got sucked back to Super Mario Maker 2 off the back of that fella's world that went semi-viral. Just playing it now.
I am currently trying nearly every game in my switch catalogue… because I upgraded to an OLED this week. And my gosh, is it a joy to play on. Working my way through Bayonetta 1&2 in preparation for 3. And Metroid Dread’s boss rush looks beautiful on that screen.
Hokko Life (which is amazing!), and Taiko No Tatsujin Drum n Fun
@Kiyata Good choices! ^-^
WRC 10: yikes, I should have read the reviews, wait a minute: I did. But it was on sale. And, I am starting to enjoy it for what it is. Looking for a farm sim, I got sucked back into Stardew and I am loving it. I need to finish the final boss in Tropical Freeze, but I am scared. And a little Rocket League.
Happy gaming everyone!
Splatoon 3. I’m at the in-laws which means handheld only, so I’ve spent a bit of time in the single player mode. I’ve never liked story mode as much as multi player in the splatoon games and never actually finished one, but with this one I think I might.
And a little bit of turf war for good measure. Also some Into the Breach, but playing on iPad now.
I'm addicted to potion permit at the moment, such a lovely game <3
So many cosy games in my backlog right now, I'm so blessed
Might try and tear myself away from that for a few matches/story missions on Splatoon 3. My copy of Trails from Zero keeps looking at me longingly as well... Too many games >.<
Mixture of MK8 Deluxe and Tunic. With Nier Automata releasing in 5 days it feels like my focus is best spent on online multiplayer and shorter games, did want to return to Splatoon 3 but from what I've heard the new update made communication errors a lot more common.
Mario Kart: Super Circuit (GBA) - Playing the spooky levels for Halloween.
Age of Empires: Castle Siege (Android) - Haven't played for nearly a week, time to get back to it.
Temple Run 2 (Windows Phone) - Still getting a little further each time. It sucks not being able to buy any of the powerups though...
Well... I've finally PLAYED(not just launched) some games on my Switch. But... I get too tired after work to play any games on console... So... I've just played games for about 2 hours in total... Yep...
Biohazard: Revelations — I've tried to complete one level in Raid Mode, but I'm died.
BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTION Special Edition — Completed Arcade Mode playing as Arakune.
The Last Door: Season Two — Have some little progress in 1st Chapter.
That's all what I've played on this week... "Sigh" Have a nice gaming weekend, everyone.
With the nurtured PS+ renewal plans crashlanding yesterday (the already oofy designated sum I put away had been actually calculated for Russian Visa cards - all five of them that might still work?😅 - while international transactions are adding almost twenty bucks of extra fees I won't procure in time) and no new ones shaping up until at least November (most of this month's lineup is available on Switch), I have found myself flushing the saved moolah you know where which has left me tempted to juggle the storage space and nibble around the new batch again. Cuphead, Armello, Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, Decay of Logos and Anima: Gate of Memories, Arietta of Spirits and Zombieland Double Tap, The Persistence (not to be confused with Persistence despite the latter's own horror sci-fi flavour) and Toroom... I could have even grabbed a couple more titles for the almost 4 dollars of gold point cashback, but I'd rather save it to dilute the $60 pricetag of next week's No Man's Sky in case there's an overall tangible opportunity to grab it right at launch. And yes, all the aforelisted is audaciously envisioned to happen besides the usual Isaac, third or all of the Xenoblades plus other stuff from RF5, Fuga and Savage Planet to BotW, Skyrim and Terraria. You know how I plan.😅
Potential handheld bits of gaming time are most likely to be spent on Endless Frontier, Fire Emblem Echoes and Ever Oasis (with a chance of Etrian Odyssey or Ultimate NES Challenge) as well as more God Eater and Tales of Eternia while my laptop might see a brief session or two in RE2, Torchlight or GTA IV.
EDIT: "not to be confused", he says while confusing the name into next Saturday himself. The other game is called Perseverance, not "Persistence". Tells you all you need to know about me.🙄😆
I've been playing a ton of Wii Bowling with my daughter lately. Last night for the first time, I bowled a near-perfect game. I got strikes for all but two frames, so I think I had something like 276 or 278 at the end. I found a perfect place to stand, aim, and I was throwing very consistently. She also got 6 strikes that game. All in all, a good time. I'm also having a buddy and his girlfriend over this weekend, so I'm sure we'll nerd out in the basement and play some pool and arcades at some point. I'm not really gaming myself lately. When I do, it's more of a social thing.
I also want to get into Tunic at some point, but if anyone can answer me, I have an important question. Is it similar to Death's Door? Because I HATED that game. The combat got so incredibly frustrating for me, that I don't think I have it in me to go through something like that again.
Earlier in the week, I dived into Maneater, so far I've only beaten five of the seven apex predators, however, this weekend I'm looking to beat the apex orca. I'm also still grinding away at Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+ 2, just getting the last little bit of collectibles from the second game, it's such a nostalgic blast from the past.
Also, it's officially October aka the Halloween season, so I'm planning on digging out my PS2, so I can play Resident Evil 4 over the weekend.
On PS5 i will be continuing with Atelier Sophie 2 and The Diofield
On switch its more Pikmin 3 deluxe, I think I will give splatoon 3 a rest as I'm starting to feel burnt out on that.
And on my series s I will try and finish far cry 5 today and then start Deathloop
Planning on finishing Live A Live. Also been doing lots of work on Pokémon Sword finally. After that I have a laundry list of games to work on so just trying to whittle it down
SpikeDislike
I'm continuing with Dreamlight Valley, mostly. The current season ends after next weekend, so there will be a fresh star path and new unlockable stuff. Until then I'm trying to stockpile things so the path is a little easier.
Other than that I'm playing Forza Horizon 2, along with Crysis and V-Rally 4 on the Switch. I also enjoyed Assault, the latest Arcade Archives game. It's nice to see Namco releasing games that are more obscure than the usual batch we see in their Namco Museum collections.
On Switch, more Splatoon 3 mainly. I'd also like to get in some more Shovel Knight Dig and return to Xenoblade 3 for its postgame.
On Steam Deck, my current plan is to pick up the Spyro 3 remake and finish it this time. On PS5, I picked up Valkyrie Elysium after enjoying the demo, so I'll definitely play more of that! And on 3DS, more Animal Crossing New Leaf and Pokemon Moon.
I have been playing Medievil on PS5 and will hopefully continue that again this weekend. I am also playing Metro 2033 on Nintendo Switch and I am loving the motion goals. Playing this game with a good pair of headphones on is a pretty immersive experience.
I tried Splatoon 3 this week, but for the money, it really doesn’t seem much different than 2. If anything, the matchmaking seems way more lopsided (or else my Turf War skills are just that rusty). Tunic held my interest more, and that’s what I’m spending my time on heading into the weekend.
ROLLED CREDITS IN XENOBLADE CHRONICLES DEFINITIVE EDITION & loved every minute. I will play the next two someday….. in 2023. Time to tackle Marvels Spider-Man next
Wrapped up Beacon Pines not long ago and what a lovely game that was. Really recommend it if you’re in the mood for a charming mystery game. Also got done with Xenoblade 3 and I might give Xeno 2 another shot. But for now it’s either Soulstice on the Xbox or I might start up a play through of Trails from Zero on the Switch.
It’s a rainy day so a nice chance to get in a little extra gaming time.
For once, my Switch has a little competition because I updated my Taito Egret II Mini and want to see if the improved controls get me any further in the Arkanoid trilogy. The girls may want to try Pirate Pete (reskin of Jungle Hunt) or the hilarious Plump Pop again. I’m praying hard they bring Zookeeper to this system one day.
Meanwhile, Assault came out on Arcade Archives this week (an insta-buy for me) so I’ll try to climb the score ranking there.
Cute new Bugsnax must be caught, too - I’m only allowed to play this when the girls can observe. ☺️
Wishing everyone a fun weekend!
Probably some more Splatoon Soulstice Valkyrie Elysium and Freedom Planet 2.
Splatoon 3 and Pikmin 3 when someone else in the house wants a turn playing Splatoon
Guitar (I'm learning a new song).
But tonight I'll probably play some game(s) on the Steam Deck I got this monday. I've been mostly playing Dead Island Definitive Edition on it so far (and that one runs flawlessly with 60 fps on highest settings).
Tunic - I was waiting for a Switch release for so long that I decided to splurge and buy this game immediately. Pretty fun and addictive so far, although the lack of a sane map or description of anything in English is super confusing-- I feel like I will get hopelessly stuck/lost at any second but somehow still haven't.
Super Mario Maker 2 - Going to play the second half of the super world which has been discussed lately on this site-- it's a bit easy but relaxing and fun.
NES legend of Zelda (NSO) - I started playing this on a plane and am shocked at the difficulty level and how easy it is to get lost on the big map. I feel like a bit of a masochist, but now I want to try to finish the game. Also just in a zelda mood lately and Tunic only partially satisfies that itch.
Fall Guys - I haven't played much of season 2, so I'm going to go fling myself off a few cliffs.
Trails from Zero and Xenoblade 3
Ah, October. A very busy time of year for yours truly. I volunteer as an actor for a local haunted house, so I'll be spending varying chunks of my weekends for the next while scaring and entertaining unwitting patrons, helping out with parades/advertising, and helping out with various other events until the month is out. I enjoy it, but the result is less gaming time. XD
125+ hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and I'm FINALLY wandering around Origin after some pretty intense cutscenes. I hope to reach the end credits over the next few days. Not sure how much postgame I'll do, but I may leave a lot of it until most of the DLC is out. I'm also still working on the occasional Stretchmo puzzle.
Happy gaming!
I’ve still been playing plenty of Splatoon 3 alone and with friends, and I’m not tired of it yet! However, I’ll probably be taking a break from it, as my friends and I have been playing Overwatch lately and will most definitely be playing Overwatch 2 next week and beyond. Aside from those games, I’ve been playing PAC-MAN Museum + and GTA San Andreas whenever I feel like chilling. I’m also thinking about yet another playthrough of Super Mario Galaxy, so we’ll see.
@Nf157 Neon White. Now here's a chap with fine tastes. Excellent game indeed.
Off rip, I'll be playing XC2: Torna - The Golden Country and another day of the Harvestella demo. My NSO renew date is tomorrow, so I think I will treat myself to the EP for this coming year. That will give me a crack at the latest releases of Genesis games that have really caught my attention as of this weekend. Also it'll allow me to go ahead and master the Wave 1 and 2 shortcuts from MK8D that keep eluding me online. I guess this'll also line me up for Goldeneye on N64, too. My wallet... IS READY!
Xenoblade 3. It’s sad to hear you say it doesn’t run well on handheld because I don’t have any way to play it in docked right now. Maybe someday. It runs much better than the last two, at least.😂 I’m almost 60 hour in and I’m on Chapter 4. I’ve really only done a ton of side quests since I’ve started the chapter, but they really are just so much more entertaining in this game and it’s hard to stop.
This week: Dragon's Dogma, Bowser’s Fury, Kingdom Hearts RE: Chain of Memories (ps3).
Happy gaming!
@Sequel Thank you! 😃 Neon White is indeed an awesome game! One of my favourites this year!
I’m really addicted to Easy Come Easy Golf. So much better than the recent Mario Golf game in my honest opinion.
Further to my previous comment, I’ve just finished Splatoon 3’s final solo level. Phew
Today begins my annual Halloween marathon. Only spooky games for the month of October. Maybe I'll start with the original Castlevania or something like that tonight.
This weekend here, me and wife playing:
Cleaning up the last side quests and capping off colony affinity levels in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Then I may do some Unique Monster hunting. I'm feeling the urge to replay the first Xenoblade once I'm finished here but I learned that Nier Automata is actually coming out next week, so I may scrap my plans and wait for that instead.
…
Breath of the Wild.
For like the 60th month straight.
Banjo tooie. Such a grand adventure
I'm late to the party on this one, but I started playing Pokemon Legends Arceus on Thursday. I'm having a lot of fun with it so far! It takes a LOT of cues from Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade, some of which make it new and interesting, and some of which seem a little silly. But overall I'm excited to keep playing it.
I borrowed Pikmin 3 from a friend a while back (my Switch is 100% digital, so physically borrowing a game makes me feel like I'm back in the SNES days), and my son and I might have finished everything there is to do. Which is good because I'm ever so tired of asking him "why are are you just standing there???" while I do all the work. I was SO much better at Pikmin than he is when I was 3. In 1984.
In other news, I bought 4~5 games in September, so I have this CRAAAAZY idea that after I finish the current chapter in Xenoblade 3 I might take a break and play some other games before jumping back in because otherwise I'll probably never play anything else.
Playing Shining in the Darkness through the Sega Megadrive Collection, an old school dungeon crawler RPG. I've previously been rather intimidated by these types of RPGs when they do not feature a proper automap, basically forcing you to draw one of your own (or look up a readily made one on the web if you're lame), but I finally decided to take up the challenge and honestly it's been surprisingly fun in its own weird way, definitely does add a degree of immersion to it all. The game itself is fine, kind of barebones and sorely lacking in music variety but it's got the fundamentals and I think it does have a charming look to it at least.
Here's a map I drew of the Cave of Courage dungeon: https://imgur.com/a/LnLoEBK
This weekend I might start Final Fantasy XV! Assuming that I have enough time!
Looks like this weekend will be working on playing through Samus Returns on 3DS (started months ago then stopped for a long time. got lost on the map) and then maybe Splatoon 3 and Minecraft.
Forza Horizon (Series X) After the Pure Xbox article about FH4 it made me want to go back to the series.
Super Mario Maker 2 (Switch) After hearing about Super Mario 5, I decided to get this for that reason. Will be checking it out this weekend.
Luigis mansion and splatoon 3
Going to try Baldo this weekend.
Fifa 23 on Switch.
007 Legends on Wii U.
Prodeus on PS5 and Skyrim on my Switch. I've never bee able to get on w Skyrim, but it's been more fun playing a stealth archer.
I’ll continue my play through of the excellent game DeathLoop on the Series X, probably will get some Forza 5 and Guardians of the Galaxy in there as well.
On Switch, Splatoon 3 is a must in this household right now and I’ll finally start Cult of the Lamb. Between Gamepass and Switch my backlog feels invincible at this point.
Strains on deck: Root Beer Float, Platinum Cookies, Romulan!
Have an extremely enjoyable weekend!
Xenoblade 3 and Splatoon 3. Two first-party titans that I have been enjoying immensely!
Replaying Stray since yesterday on my PS5, and still continuing with Link's Awakening
I'm shiny hunting still! Oshawott still hasn't shined in White so doing from SRs there, and hunting from things for a shiny living dex in Let's Go Eevee. Already have Bellsprout line done, and just waiting for a third shiny male Nidoran.
I'll be picking up Xenoblade Chronicles tonight as well. I started it when the Definitive Edition came out, but fell off for other games so I think its time to go back to it! Also going back to The Great Ace Attorney tomorrow, and maybe some KH2 if I can fit it in lol.
Winter? It’s fall currently.
@Shadeon_Koopa
Man, you have excellent taste in games!
Letter Quest is awesome. Totally underrated and under the radar.
“Final Fantasy III” on my SNES mini! Making my way through this wonderful little system.
If I can get caught up with my art homework, I’d love to play more of the MH Rise’s updated expansion or get back into Metro 2033 Redux. Or maybe more Mario Maker 2.
@KevinLo9 Haha, thanks. Such is why I love to welcome indies with open arms
Started said Letter Quest on Expert difficulty earlier. It sure already hits different (compared to Normal difficulty) from the get-go. Then again, Normal was a tad too easy for me, we'll see how this one goes.
I’ve been playing Tunic. It’s beautiful and fun, but man I’m not used to games with that level of difficulty these days.
@Shadeon_Koopa
Indies are most of favorite modern games. They are often homages to classic games, and if they are done right I’m all over them.
Enter the Gungeon
Hades
Slay the Spire
Steamworld Quest
Risk of Rain
Shovel Knight
Guacamelee
Into the Breach
So many more. Love ‘em.
Lots of games for me this weekened:
Smash with friends
Splatoon 3 also with friends
Monster Hunter Rise mostly by myself with some friends thanks for to its update bringing me back.
MH3U by myself because nostalgia commanded me so.
After a 2.5 year-ish sabbatical from Picross (after burning out from completing ALL of the Picross games on 3DS), I decided to finally grab the Sega installment on Switch.
And then I went crazy and bought S3, S4, and S5.
Considering that I've hardly been playing any Switch games lately apart from Final DOOM (via DOOM II) and Pokémon Legends Arceus, I'm never going to complete any of my backlog.
Just finished playing through The Spirit and The Mouse. The first game I 100% completed in a long time and enjoyed.
Starting Tunic.
Beakon Pines is waay better than I thought.
@Freek Lufia is a charming game!
Picked up Panzer Dragoon for £2 and gave it a quick burst and enjoyed it - got a lot of flashbacks of the original but need to get used to the aiming again...
Also picked up Radiant Silvergun - it has a low res mode for that authentic Saturn vibe...rock hard though!
"The Winter"? It's the beginning of Autumn!
