@Waluigi no worries! Thanks for the quick response, the difficulty of the job you have to do here (sometimes/often) makes that completely understandable ☺️. Ha, thinking about it, that might be a bit rich coming from me - apologies for the odd occasion I've added to your workload.
@Waluigi hey, I think I've had a comment deleted. It was a response to @truewiimaster. I made a conscious effort to be polite and notice that his opinion has not been removed. I think it's a little harsh maybe? Don't mean to start an argument with you at all! Just curious as to why you felt it had to be removed.
@Stu13 don't forgot slavery, and the genocide of native Americans. I'm British though, so, glass houses an all. Suffice to say the list of shameful deeds is long indeed, for both our countries.
This is all very disappointing. I didn't find out about these bundles quickly enough, even if I had I would probably need to wait till payday before I could afford the game. Will I now need to pay £100 for all three paths? Madness
@cleveland124 yeah I agree, but I guess maybe Nintendo felt that the motion controls were integral to the game. I would've liked that option though.
@Mario-Man-Child Umm, I have read that a few times from other lefties. I will give it another try and hopefully I'll just get used to it. I did try holding the Wiimote in my right hand but it just didn't feel right, nor did holding the nunchuck in my left hand - after however many years of using the set up the other way.
I'm left handed and found the disconnect when playing SS incredibly jarring, it's one of the few zelda's I haven't completed. I do mean to have another go at some point.
Looks like it could be good fun, i'll certainly keep an eye on it. My only criticism is that parts of the trailer did make it look kind of derivative, obviously shan't judge it just yet though.
"...We will keep producing the best games..." They'll have to start doing that before that can keep doing it, unless he feels Devil's Turd is one of 'the best games.' Though perhaps he is referring to what Valhalla's staff did before they joined Valhalla.
@CB85 'Give up so easily' ?? That seems incredibly harsh, I'm sure laying off all their staff wasn't easy for them. I don't really have any idea how much they've been struggling these past years, do you?
I've really enjoyed their games and wish them all the best going forward, whatever they decide to do, they're clearly both very talented. I shall continue to look forward to Rive.
@Novanon ha! Well remembered. I know, it was fantastic. I think a bit of the hype that every announcement of a new direct generates stems from the memory of how good that one was.
It's been a long while since I was genuinely surprised by a Nintendo announcement, probably not since that legendary direct several years ago - I think XCX was first shown then? And FEXSMT?
I don't remember hearing about splatoon before E3, but was as puzzled as I was delighted when I saw that for the first time. Fingers crossed for a few surprises at E3 this year.
To be totally honest, and I know this might be ridiculous, but I wish this site would make more of an effort to help those that want to avoid spoilers avoid them. Under current practices it's impossible to even open the site and read the stories I want to read without inadvertently finding out about games that are literally just about to be announced.
(Final edit 🙄) I should say "announced in a far more exciting and gratifying way than opening up Nintendo life and seeing a picture."
@Yorumi that's an interesting point! My knowledge of the law is similarly limited so I've no idea if this could be classed as parody, definitely something I'd like to know a bit more about.
@Yorumi I completely agree that we ought not to make 'snap judgements,' and admittedly this is the first I've heard of this guy. Having said that, I've watched the episode above and checked out his patreon page; he is being paid, currently $1300 per episode - that's a salary, to 'create' content that is entirely dependent on other peoples creativity . Presumably the amount that he will get per episode will continue to rise. His **** Nintendo comment also indicates that he has very little awareness of or appreciation for the intellectual property rights of others. It's pretty hard to be sympathetic.
Absolutely fascinating interview, enjoyed it immensely. I've also never played an odd world game but I can vividly remember the impact it had on PlayStation friends. Glad to have an opportunity to rectify the situation.
I really ought to go to sleep but after that interview I think I may actually have to download this game this very moment and and see what it's all about. Haven't seen the NL review yet though, have I missed it or is it coming soon?
I can imagine any English voice acting for Link being close to the English voice acting found in Xenoblade, which would not be a good thing in my opinion.
@Darknyht I feel like some of the stuff you miss out on might be fun stuff. We've just got this one life, friend, as far as we know. We should make it as rich, varied and fulfilling as possible. ☺️
