Re: Hands On: WarioWare Move It! Takes Us Right Back To A Wii Classic

luckyseven

The controls for Smooth Moves were honestly terrible at times such as getting the form baton Wii remote to work correctly but hopefully the motion controls are better on Switch since I’m excited to have a more traditional Warioware game back! Also I read other previews too and they all mention controlling the microgames with your a**… wow

@HeadPirate I can’t wait for SO either! I hope OtH will make more appearances in the future, would love to see all three idol groups together. And I just want to know how Pearl became a drone or what’s even happening with her (or Marina, where is she?!). But hopefully we’ll get more OtH songs in SO just like in OE!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 30th)

@Yalloo I haven’t found the other 11 artifacts yet, I accidentally found the first one while exploring. I’m thinking about getting all of the upgrades first then I’ll go back and find them. Also thanks! There’s so much cool content in game such as all of the lore from scanning stuff and the enemies, it’s insane how detailed Prime is. I’m planning on playing 2 and 3 eventually even if they haven’t been remastered yet, hope they’re just as good! Worried about playing 3 with the Wii controls though lol

I’m playing Metroid Prime Remastered! I was worried whether I’d like it or not when I bought it but I’m loving it so far. It doesn’t even look like a Gamecube game, if you told me this was a current gen game and I didn’t know anything about Metroid beforehand I would believe you. The gameplay also holds up really well. I’ve died in a lot of silly ways such as getting the morph ball stuck in lava but I’m getting better at it and the upgrades help too. I’m only about 5 hours in but I can’t wait to play more!

Re: Talking Point: What Is Your Video Game Palate Cleanser?

luckyseven

Splatoon 3 is my usual palette cleanser, whenever I’m not playing something different I usually play it everyday. Right now I’m currently occupied with Prime Remastered so it’ll be a bit before I go back to it. On my 3DS I like replaying Rhythm Heaven and Warioware from time to time

Re: Nintendo Announces Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Event For Tetris 99

luckyseven

I don’t play Tetris 99 at all but I didn’t expect to see Xenoblade x Tetris today
@Axecon I also need to get around to doing a proper replay too (not NG+ since I’m worried about it getting stale) but I just started Metroid Prime and Splatoon 3 takes over my gaming schedule. I have to make time for my favorite game lol

Playing more Splatoon 3 as usual, I played a few rounds for the random rotation in Salmon Run last night and it was fun! Splatoon is overtaking my gaming schedule though lol. This article also reminded me to buy Prime Remastered so I need to get around to that, I haven’t been very invested in Metroid despite being the huge Nintendo fan I am

Re: Soapbox: FOMO Nearly Ruined Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom For Me

Some of the comments here are just the Squidward meme with “me and the bestie! 10 mins later can’t stand TotK’s a**!”. Anyway the worst temple for me was the Water one, the low gravity was fun but the actual temple was a pain to get through. I loved Tears and I still do but I definitely need a break from it for a while. Also the writer of this article could’ve just stated he didn’t like the Fire Temple, no need to put a code name for it when the game’s been out for over 4 months

Re: Best F-Zero Games Of All Time

Climax is the best out of the GBA games imo, it feels a lot more refined than GP Legend and has way more content with so many unlockables. GX is still my favorite though

Re: F-ZERO 99: Tips & Tricks - How To Win Races, Everything You Need To Know

luckyseven

I honestly wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did but it’s great! Won’t be playing it often but I’ll make sure to do a few races every now and then, got kicked out of the Grand Prix last night though 😭 Also I smiled when I saw they brought back Mr. Zero (green haired guy). He’s relatively obscure so I’m glad they remembered him!

Re: F-ZERO 99 Turns The Classic Racer Into A 99-Player Battle Royale, On NSO Today

luckyseven

Have to admit I’m still a little disappointed (still want that GX remaster 🥲) but I downloaded it and it looks like there’s a lot of love being put into the game. Since F-Zero is relatively niche I hope there’s enough people playing it to make it last a while, it would be a bad move for the franchise to die again. Besides it does look fun, I’m just glad Nintendo is finally acknowledging the series in some way!

Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Nintendo Direct Announced For August 31st

luckyseven

I don’t think this deconfirms a September Direct as Nintendo holds them every year. We still need more footage of other things such as Side Order, Warioware Move It, SMRPG, etc. Nintendo always has something in store and it’s likely they’re doing this Direct on the last day of August so it doesn’t take up a majority of a general Direct. Speaking of this Direct, I’m thinking the video with Charles Nintendo mentioned will be here
