@VoidofLight I already got blocked by him a while ago but I’m glad I can’t see his comments. Like one of the earlier commenters said, there’s no point in trying to argue with someone won’t change their mind. Good riddance to him
On the other hand, I totally agree with you. I’m not a huge fan of Mario but I still have attachment to the series along with the characters Charles voiced. I’ll miss his voice for Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi since they’re all iconic for me. As I stated earlier I’m hoping Wario’s voice in Move It is good but it’ll still feel off to me

Wario’s voice sounded decent in the trailer, I’m sad it isn’t going to be Charles but hopefully the VA will do a good impression of Wario! On the other hand I hope there’s full voice acting this time unlike GiT. Also funny how there’s always replies to a nonexistent Anti-Matter comment on my end

This is sad to hear… Mario’s voice is iconic and I couldn’t imagine him with a different one (asides from Chris Pratt, that’s the movie only) but it was going to happen at one point. I’m glad Charles is still going to be with Nintendo though, not the hugest fan of Mario but I wonder where Nintendo is taking the series now. Thanks for the memories Charles!

@RiasGremory I’m getting worried about the Noah & Mio amiibos, hopefully they get a release date soon since they’re one of my most wanted Nintendo things right now. If it’s 2024 I’ll be sad 😢

Rewatching some of the cutscenes I can definitely see where you’re coming from it since sounds so funny. As bad as it is it feels charming in a way since the voices sound like they were recorded in a tin can. I think F-Zero GX shares some of the same VAs and they don’t even sound as bad, it’s that early Gamecube charm

I’ll likely play the remasters for Baten Kaitos eventually but I’ve watched some of the cutscenes on Youtube and I really wish they would put the English voice acting back although that’s probably not happening at this point

120+ hours in and I think I’m at 41%? I still have a ton of stuff I need to do but I’m trying to take a small break from it

Gg to everyone but honestly this was a pretty terrible Splatfest, too many mirror matches and the tricolor map was awful

I’ll be playing some Splatoon 3 because of the Splatfest but it’s kind of dull so far since I keep getting so many mirror matches, I may go back to TotK soon although I keep wandering around in it. I should start a NG+ play through of Xenoblade 3 but I’m worried about it getting stale, maybe I’ll just start from scratch? Oh wait, there’s also Xenoblade X waiting for me on my Wii U. I’ll do gaming later since I’m seeing Oppenheimer today, last time I went to the theaters I saw the Mario movie and it’s a definitely change of pace lol

I didn’t buy any of the boxes since I don’t have a CD player + too expensive but these look absolutely gorgeous. So glad to see the series get the love it deserves

@Shiro28 It was originally a reward on the Japan and Europe MyNintendo stores, Europe got it later when Future Redeemed came out. Back when it came out in Japan I bought it from Ebay and they should be relatively cheap there, for me personally I haven’t written in it or haven’t peeled off the stickers with it, I should use them eventually. The diary also has some of Mio’s journal entries from the game in it (in the in-game language) alongside the term clocks

I don’t normally use coasters but I’ll consider getting these eventually since it’s something XC3 related. I already imported it from Japan but I hope NA gets Mio’s diary eventually since it’s a nice journal and comes with a cute sticker sheet

@Thomystic The 3DS Homebrew community found a way to bypass the 11.17 update on New 3DS/2DS consoles, I think it’s only older 3DS models who have issues with Homebrew now

I booted up Splatoon 1 and I was surprised I managed to get into a few matches. It feels similar but different compared to 3, I love Splat 1’s music. Playing with the clunky gamepad is weird though

@Keman This exactly. I can’t see Anti-Matter’s comments when I’m logged in but they’re getting ridiculous at this point. Nothing revolves entirely around kid’s games or caters entirely to a single person’s taste. Everyone has different tastes but blindly bashing certain genres or games just due to certain elements/ratings isn’t good at all.

Never did any challenges because of the awful times and this month’s Splatfest is going to be just Money vs. Love. I’m just waiting for Side Order news

When I see grass outside I sometimes think about taking out the Master Sword and cutting it. Or finding a rock and a stick and thinking I can fuse them together to make a club. Or seeing yellow/red flowers and my mind goes to Sundelions. Seeing the wall and thinking I can use Ascend. Looking at a steak we bought in the fridge and thinking I can make a meat skewer. The outdoors are now just a BotW/TotK reference. Help I’m insane

I can’t believe this has been out for an entire year, it only feels like yesterday when I first bought and played the game. This is my favorite game of all time and I love it so much

I finished the main story of Tears a few days ago, it was about time I finally got around to it. This game is so so good, it’s absolutely amazing! Right now I’m in the post game and trying to complete things which will take a while. I also played some Xenoblade 3 earlier this week since today is the very 1st anniversary for it, I can’t believe it’s already been that long

I’m waiting for the Noah & Mio amiibo, really hope they’re given a release date soon! The Zelda & Ganon amiibo were shown off early yet they’re releasing in “Winter 2023” so I wonder why Noah & Mio haven’t been shown yet. As for these I’m not sure if I’ll buy most of them since I’m satisfied with the amiibos I have
@Dev9417 Same, they announced their plushies before the amiibo lol. I think they may have to do with something Side Order related like the Pearlina ones with OE

I already unlocked their swords in-game so it’s not a big deal anymore for me. I like having more Xeno merchandise but then I remember 2 is my least favorite in the series (I absolutely love Torna though) so I’ll wait for the Noah and Mio amiibo and hopefully remember to preorder them. Hope it’s soon

Not sure what’s going on with the comments here but I’m at 105+ hours in and it’s already one of my favorite games on Switch even if I haven’t played a ton of Zelda games
