More TotK for me! I should’ve been playing more Splatoon 3 this week because of the new season and while the few rounds I played were fun I wanted to go back to TotK. I guess the game had a big effect on me

@LikelySatan Which ones did you try? I don’t feel embarrassed by either 1 or 3 but some of the character designs/scenes in 2 aren’t for me

@EaglyPurahfan I mainly hang out in Xenoblade communities so I’m not used to convincing people to try out the series, but people have different tastes. Most of my friends irl who are Nintendo fans don’t play Xenoblade, so I guess it’s not uncommon for people to not be interested in the series

@Anti-Matter That’s fine, everyone has different interests in games especially when you know you’re not going to like something. But it never hurts to be open to trying different genres or games, it’s how I found some of my favorite games on Switch even if I was unsure about trying them at first. I personally think people should give the Xeno series a chance but everyone’s free to try what they want

@Anti-Matter I can see where you’re coming from since everyone has different tastes, but there’s a lot more to bigger games like Zelda and Xenoblade than kid’s games

There’s a reason why Nintendo is leaving this to die with no trailer or screenshots as of the time of writing this. Assuming the game hasn’t changed much from when people play tested it and the reception of the first game this is going to go horribly

I disabled auto updates so I still have the dupe glitch on my game. I can see why people don’t want to use it but it saves the hassle of looking or grinding for materials

Yoko slaying as usual! This sounds amazing, good on her for leaving Ink Theory. It’s said that she felt overshadowed by the other members’ personalities and it’s good she can finally stand out on her own

Time to go back to my homebrewed Wii and Wii U!

Already got all of the icons from wave 1, I’m so glad they’re doing icons for the trilogy (rip X)

I find this hilarious and sad considering most of Square Enix’s online games have failed horribly in the past, the fact that it’s a Splatoon clone makes it even funnier. (they even put some of the exact same specials in the trailer like Trizooka, Baller, Inkstrike and Killer Wail) It lacks the charm Splatoon’s known for too

TotK obviously… I only got to the surface of Hyrule a few days ago but it’s so good! I have no idea when I’ll finish it or make any substantial progress but it’s such a nice change of pace because I’m burnt out on Splatoon 3

I’ll try to buy TotK today, I’m excited to dive into it! I haven’t played BotW but from what I’ve heard it’s an upgrade

I’d like to see the Kuru series return, they should keep it as super difficult since it’s one of the most important parts of the games.

Seeing the other franchises returning would be cool (along with a more traditional Warioware game) but I don’t want any other studio to touch Rhythm Heaven. Leave that to Tsunku and the other RH staff.

Agreed! Torna was amazing, and I enjoyed the flow of it more than 2 (I like 2 please don’t hurt me). I’m honestly glad they simplified the battle system of 2. The character switching gave it more variety in the combat, it makes me wish we could directly control blades in 2. The forced side quests were a chore sometimes but they were more interesting than not, they also made the ending more impactful. I can’t believe 3’s final dlc is coming out at the time of writing this, and the end of the Klaus saga as a whole. I’m hoping it tops Torna for me, it’s a lot bigger than it so we’ll just have to wait and see! Also Haze is nice

Advance Wars!! Didn’t get super far into the campaign so far but it’s just as fun as it was on the GBA, it feels so much smoother and I love it. This remake is absolutely amazing! If I manage to put it down for a moment I may play some Splatoon 3 as usual, I know I’m going to be busy with Xenoblade 3’s dlc next week so I’m going to try to make some progress in both games

I’m buying it later, so excited to revisit AW but I only have 4 days to play it because of Xenoblade 3 FR coming on Tuesday

Glad to hear it’s a great remake! I’ve been waiting for over a year now and the delay didn’t make the wait any better. I’ll be buying it on Friday but I’ll have to rush through it since Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed comes out on Tuesday

Not a huge Zelda fan but this is a great idea for a Splatfest! I think most people knew that this would be coming though, because “tri”color Turf War. I’ll go courage because I like it the most and the ink color is cool

I’m happy for Zelda fans but I just want a trailer for Xenoblade 3’s Wave 4… 😔

Just watched it with my friends a few hours ago, it was great! It’s not a masterpiece, but it was really charming and funny throughout. I liked all of the references too, my friend and I pointed them out to each other whenever we saw one. They should’ve included more references modern Nintendo games asides from the NES ones though. (Punch Out Pizzeria was perfect, also Nintendo remembered Kid Icarus…) The entire movie also looks gorgeous, but I felt like they wrapped up a lot of situations in the movie too quickly. On the way out of the theater I even heard a kid saying that there should’ve been more buildup to the ending, and I honestly agree. The psychotic Luma should’ve had more screen time too

Also the theater had mystery box tins for the popcorn, happy I got one

So excited for AW to finally come out, it feels like it’s been 1000 years. I finished 1 sometime after it was delayed but haven’t gotten around to finishing 2 yet, I should get around to that soon though! Super excited to hear Sturm’s theme remade, I wonder if they can top the original 🤔

That reminds me, I should go back to playing Xenoblade Chronicles X on my homebrewed Wii U!!
