I'm getting SSB4 Amiibo edition, may pick up more as a way to figure out how to beat characters I struggle against.

Well I have everything except X1, and while I used to play quite alot of the Vita, I'm more inclined to pickup the 3DS or Wii U pro controller. All the good PS4 games I bought it for are either delayed or still in development. That is the only reason I haven't parted with it. If they don't keep me interested after those games I could well say goodbye to Playstation.

Getting the Australian model from play asia, but I'd rather use my smart phone if I 'needed' that sort of content.

I'll be picking up LEGO Batman 3 this week, but am tempted by Watch Dogs instead (just finished AC 3 + 4, so liking Ubisoft just now).

I've pre-ordered the new xl from Play Asia, but still thinking maybe the standard one is better. I've got the old xl now, so any advice would help! IIt will be shipped by end of next week, so I need to make my mind up soon.

I've been trying to decide on my next handheld game, and I was going to get this if nothing compelling was announced in tomorrow's download article. Guess this review has made me realise I should get it on my Wii U one day. May get Theatrhythm Curtain Call, or DoDo Master on iOS instead.

"arguably Nintendo's biggest game release of the year", it's no bigger than, say, MK8. Anyway, I liked the cinematic, and I haven't seen previous ones either.

Well the Bayonetta result is hardly surprising, with reports of selling out on the high street on Saturday. Loving the game, got the 1+2 special.

Only got into DKC since 3DS version, always thought it was too challenging. Since then I've played Tropical Freeze, and I'll play the first 3 on Wii U VC sometime.

Well I don't pre-order any more. So whether I get this on day 1 depends on what else is out at the time, and given the time of year probably not much. There are many games out this and next month which I'll be catching up on until after the new year. I may wait for a price drop if it's not compelling enough by comparison.

Nothing for me. Trying to finish up Fantasy Life and then moving onto Theatrhythm: Curtain Call and Assassin's Creed 4.

@Sadodi Does it mention a lack of power to the hardrive? That's what I got and it was nothing to do with the usb cable. I still say you should phone the Nintendo Service Center, they were very helpful to me and I got an extra years warranty be ause hardware repairs had to be made to my Wii U.

@Sadodi I had the same problem. I ended up having to get my Wii U fixed at Nintendo, and then my hard drive heads got misaligned and I had to buy another hard drive (one on Nintendo's recommended list this time). Ever since, I've had no problems, but yeah the May update seemed to cause more problems than it solved. I'd recommend phoning the Nintendo Service Center.

Nintendo has always been, and always will be, my first choice for video games each gen. I have so many happy memories over the last 25 years. Many more happy returns to you, Nintendo!

Just (I say 'just', as if the game is no big deal) Fantasy Life and its DLC for me. It got 94% (gold award) in official Nintendo mag this month.

I want Fantasy Life first, then I'll get Theatrhythm next month, loved the first one.

Guess I might have to put off Little Big Planet 3.

I hope they have something to reveal about the new Star Fox game.

@1wiierdguy I hope Virtues Last Reward has been patched since I played the physical version. There was a bug that stopped me loading my progress, and the European publisher was hopeless in trying to get it resolved for me.

It's strange that LttP is cheaper than Minish cap, given ones SNES and the other GBA. A lot of good discounts this week, I'd definitely recommend Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns to anyone who is thinking about it. More so than Hometown Story, I was left feeling dissapointed with that.

Glad I'm getting this on day 1, for that limited time paid dlc. This has been quite an anticipated game for me for several months. Can't wait!

MK8 DLC for me this week. Just wish they had put in proper battle arenas, such a wasted opportunity for an update. Heck, I would've been willing to wait longer for this update!

@Starwolf_UK I'm still getting HDD errors with 5.1.2, even though Nintendo did 'hardware repairs' to my Wii U to correct the problem and 5.1.1 was supposed to address the issue with firmware fixes also.

Yet my Wii U still crashes with a USB HDD error message?! Go figure, Nintendo!

I never got a chance with Tomodachi Life, mainly because MK8 came out the week before and some Vita games seemed more appealing. I may get into it yet, if the demo pleases me!

Very tempted by the Scram Kitty discount. My only concern is that I heard it gets really tough in places.

I already either have the NES games or I'm not interested. Nothing else is worth playing compared to Child of Light which arrived in this morning's post for Vita.

I'm 35, and remember getting the PAL version in the mid-late 80's (memories a little fuzzy to remember exactly!). I've still got that system plugged into an old c.r.t tv ready to play. I still remember the day I went to Dixons (kids, ask your Dad what that shop is) and buying the system with Super Mario Bros (off course) and the zapper and duck hunt. One of the best memories I have of purchasing a new system.

I would much rather have proper battle arena dlc, it would extend the usefulness of the game to me as I've not been interested enough to play the track versions.

I've got a PS4 and I agree with what you say. I don't think Sony is right to say they're welcoming back Wii owners to the PlayStation brand, as I've never owned a PS before, so that's a load of cobblers.

I would much rather Sony allowed backwards compatibility with PS3 games, instead they're remastering them and forcing me to buy a new copy on release, this is appalling and I don't put up with it on Nintendo systems.

I'll wait for a price drop on Steam to hopefully under £5, £6.99 seems a little too much for me and I have £5 Steam credit. Or else the Wii U or 3DS version if they're cheaper (which I highly doubt).

I wonder if he'd make similar comments if the PS4 wasn't doing as well as the Wii U?

I'm so glad the 3DS (so far) hasn't been hacked, the same way the DS was with R4 cards. Yes, I'll admit I played a few games on R4 on the DS, but I've bought every single 3DS game. I thought the 3DS was stable enough, it's my Wii U that needs more stability improvements. I just stopped getting lockups with Ver. 5.0.0, but LEGO Hobbit crashed (don't know if it's just the game or the system).

Curtain call, Fantasy Life, Harveroas on Wii U instead. Been playing my Vita over the last month instead of 3DS, but looks like that'll change starting September.

I've played MK8 for 3 out of 4 weeks I've had it, only to stop to reduce my current backlog a bit. I'm nowhere near done with MK8 yet, it's given me a renewed love for my Wii U.

I was really hoping for Shovel Knight this week. The comments say it's being localised for UK, so I'll just have to be a little more patient. Otherwise, nothing for me this week.

I'd like Another World, but will wait for review. Loved it on the SNES, but if it's not been remade right it could ruin my experience of the original.

Nintendo Life & Nintendo stop being obsessed with local co-op, you know everyone wants online. You never cater for the lone wolves, which is why I was so dissapointed in Star Foc 64 3D, they made excuses as to why they couldn't make that online, but at the end of the day they were just idiots for excluding it. I seriously would condsider passing this up with a lack of online. I've loved the StarFox series from the SNES days, but I haven't enjoyed it as much since. Please Nintendo, get this right, it may be my last Star Fox for a long time if I don't buy future systems.

I've got a Wii U and PS4, but Wii U gets more love. Like the report subtitle says, I think Sony is twisting the stats on this one. They are saying that Wii owners are upgrading to PS4, but what they mean to say is Wii owners have bought a Wii U and also a PS4. They're just making themselves sound better the way they say it.

I hope it gets DLC soon, because MK needs it. It needs a challenge mode, like the Wii and more single player functions, like trying to beat checkpoints against the clock as per Sonic Transformed.
