I'm bored of these same old reports, the same old analysts saying the same old thing. It would be a disaster if Nintendo went down this line of thinking. People who exclusively game on smart phones and tablets WILL NOT go out and buy a Nintendo system just because they played Mario or Zelda on their device. They (smartphone/tablet gamers) have already made their minds up about what platform they want, they will just cry out for more Nintendo games on their smart phone and tablets rather than become "interested in Nintendo systems", in order to play more Nintendo games.

This would then lead down the path of nintendo becoming 3rd party, which is not what Nintendo needs. Nintendo games require hardrwae made by Nintendo, it's in the nature of the games, they wouldn't work on other platforms.

Analysts can keep beating their "other platforms" drum, but Nintendo will continue with their own hardware and releasing their games only on them, just mark my words you will see it when the current generation is done.

Hang on... It's being reported as $3B on Wii U daily, so who's right?

The donations should have gone to more than just one charity. It's not everyone that gets cancer, I might've donated had there been an alternative. Don't get all angry at me, but it is a valid point.

I can see why GAMES's doing this, when games are mostly digital there'll be few reasons to go to a high street shop to get a physical copy. But yeah, the sooner GAME goes out of business the better, they're a bunch of crooks who couldn't give a toss about gamers.

Well I bought one! But yeah, it doesn't really have any games. It was Knack that did it for me.

IDIOTS! They should include online regardless of the backward "NES" thinking. Lone Wolves like me are at a disadvantage without online multiplayer. It is for this reason that I couldn't 100% complete SM3DW, because I couldn't be bothered redoing each level with each character on my own.

I seriously hope online features in future Mario games, it's long overdue.

Nintendo won the case against the last loser of a company that tried to pull this trick on them. De ja vu... It seems the only way iLife can make money from anything it claims to be theres is by suing other companies that have actually done something with the technology.

SM3DW should be selling more, it's an amazing game. Enjoyed it as much as the Galaxy games.

Hmm... a game from a sister company setup to distance itself from Kid's and family games, yet not a gritty mature game?! I'm intrigued to know what it is as I don't normally play Kid's/Family games or gritty mature games (COD etc.).

$50 is too much for me,but I still like it!

I was way off having enough stars for the European Club Nintendo one, but at least I got the Year of Luigi Coin (which is also sold out now).

DKC:TF, Mario Kart 8, SSB and Scram Kitty and His buddy on Rails for me.

My first visit was earlier this year, and a day hasn't gone by without several visits a day! I'll certainly keep coming back next year.

Just change the date in System settings, and you'll fool your 3DS! Don't forget to change to the current date so you don't corrupt save data.

I love the Street Pass games, but I've been forced to change the date on the 3DS to get round the 10 coin a day limit. There's no way I'd get all the games 100% complete before the next wave of games comes. I live rurally, so Street Pass hits are few and far between.

I'll take Mario over shooters any day!

Nothing for me for the next 2 weeks. I haven't downloaded anything from either 3DS or Wii U eShop for nearly a couple of months now!

When you talk about more than 128MB RAM to work with, are you confusing it with the maximum size of SD card that can now be used? I know it has been 32GB for a while now. It's just that storage space isn't referred to as RAM.

No noticed system performance improvement, it stills takes an age to come out of system settings and load the home screen! If this happened on a smart phone or tablet the executives of the manufacturer would be dragged out to the street and shot!

He says he gets stuck in games like NSMB2, yet he says he plays the likes of Zelda. Personally, I have no trouble with NSMB2, but find Zelda games confusing. Me thinks he's telling porkies.

@Royalblues I've been saying that for months, but people say one system or the other is going to dominate, based off first week sales of PS4 & xbone. The weekly sales of those two systems nose dived in the second week.

@Assassinated Yeah, rumours and some little details leaking out at the end of 2016. Then a worldwide reveal at E3 2017, then a further reveal at E3 2018 and launched towards end of the same year (in a similar fashion to the 2 Wii U E3 reveals and eventual launch). That would give the Wii U a 6 year life cycle, which is what Nintendo tends to stick to anyway.

I'm happy with Tennis and bowling. Never liked Golf, baseball or boxing as much.

I'll be pre-ordering this as soon as it's available to.

Super Mario 3D World is (amazing) better than Knack, I've played both so it pains me that Knack (allbeit benefiting from bundle deals) is stacking up against 3D World.

I must finish the HD trilogy on iOS and Dual Destinies before this is released. How many ace attorney games are there? I've found the following:

I've got the first three in an HD trilogy and downloaded Dual Destinies on 3DS. Would like to play them all before the crossover comes out, if anyone can tell me if I've listed them all here.

Yeah it's called A New Beginning. I found Two Towns easier to play, but New Beginning has some better features, like deciding the layout of your farm and town.

It's true what they say, home consoles are truly dead in Japan. Long live the 3DS!

I wish NL would do lists, instead of making me read through all that text. It'll be interesting to see where SM3DW comes in next week. My guess is that like the new Zelda on 3DS it's an evergreen title, and may not get into the top 3 all format chart in it's first week, but remain in the top 40 for a lot longer than many PS4 and Xbone launch titles. I'll be getting a PS4 this week with Knack, woohoo!

It's not that I'm/We're anti-download, it's just that we all probably want (cheaper) physical copies of SM3DW, so there's no point in choosing the digital vote!

I'll definitely get it if it comes out.

£55.99 and £44.99 for AC:4 and Lego Marvel? Get a grip Nintendo, is it any wonder I haven't embraced the digital age with these rip-off prices. I got Lego Marvel for £29.19 from Amazon for crying out loud!

I need to catchup by finishing the trilogy HD I'm currently playing on iOS, then I'll be getting the DLC for sure. Anyone know if you have to have finished the main part of Dual Destinies before being able to play the DLC, as it seems to be a prequel to the main game.

@Garo Yes, I agree. I just finished it last night and I'd say it's one of the top 3 Layton games, which is why it's a shame it's only made it to 13th in the UK chart.
