Pre-ordered the limited edition. They've taken my money and it's too late to cancel now! Couple weeks delay is ok, the only other games I'm thinking of playing around then are AC: Syndicate and Battlefront.

By the time I've played enough Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World will be out! So no downloads for quite a while for me. I haven't used the eShops for quite a long while!

@dkxcalibur They do in the UK, but the situation is just as hopeless. They sell out in minutes! They also sell them at the RRP, unlike many other retailers.

I knew this would happen! I talked about it on my YouTube channel. No one listens to me of course, popular YouTuber's dribble on about what the next controller will be, and all that guff pertaining to the 'old' style consoles. I didn't know for sure if it would use an OS such as Android. Nintendo (and consoles in general) must move towards a more smart device like architecture, if there not going to become a niche platform that just serves an 'insignificant' hardcore gamer minority. It's about time the home and handhelds shared a common system, because one game can be developed and run on both systems. Freeing up resources to make twice as many games! This is how I wanted the NX to be, and I hope the rumour turns out true.

Yay for Splatoon! I'm luvin' it!

Tried Don't Starve on PS Plus, didn't get on with it (find it too pressuring on my weak gaming nerves). So another week, and many months have passed with no downloads. Still busy with Splatoon and Majora's Mask 3D.

Already got a physical copy of Yarn, and Paper Mario on Wii VC. Apart from free demos (which I've got a huge backlog of) there's nothing for me this week. Happy to wait for Splatoon next week anyway, can't wait!

A warning to anyone considering getting Virtues last Reward. I couldn't finish it because of a load save file bug. The screen would go black. I contacted the European publisher, and they gave me a fix for a seperate saving game bug. I told them this, but I got no where with them, I feel robbed of £29.99. This is the third time I've mentioned this in 3 discounts of this game. So be warned!

Didn't get into Kirby until I got a Wii and used the VC service. Now I'm hooked and get all new releases. Pre-ordered Paintbrush for £24.85, will be here tomorrow so I'm excited.

Didn't know it was a public holiday, guess I'll take day off! The Kirby discount is useless, you can get the physical copy £5 cheaper.

I've always wanted Sonic Transformed style features, like it's challenge modes. It's about time MK did something different from the same tired old format.

@unrandomsam It wasn't installing anything the first time, as I checked download management! It just started the game straight away, and only did what it was supposed to the 2nd time. A bit confusing.

I had to start the game twice to get update to activate! Generally displeased with Nintendo console's update procedures, much smoother on PlayStation!

All I've thought about is the MK8 DLC 2 since the last one. Dissapointed with the Kirby 10% discount, Paintbrush is as cheap as £26.95 retail!

Wouldn't it just be easier to hold online tournaments?

Own the cart, and despite what the report says the timing is awful, with MK8 DLC 2 out the same week. So no purchase.

I sure hope the 'NX' system is the unified platform they touted over a year ago. It would solve a lot of the problems managing different versions of big games on handheld and home console. It would be more efficient in producing games and DLC, so we could have MORE DLC and MORE diverse games. The unified platform really does let Nintendo and gamers have their cake and eat it!

It's such a shame battle mode was messed up. Otherwise MK8 would've been the PERFECT game!

This is all great stuff, but PLEASE Nintendo fix the battle mode and MK8 will be perfect!

If wee Jonny wants to play GTA, then he's sure as hell gonna get to play it. My cousin's kids use pester power to get their own way, as much as she resists the inevitable happens and she caves in to their demands.

I don't recall playing such violent games myself at that age (NES/SNES era), and I sure as hell don't like them now (aged 36). I really don't see any clear cut way of solving the age old (no pun intended) problem of age ratings.

The teacher's are stepping out of line by calling this neglect and involving social services, who's resources are stretched enough dealing with REAL social needs for children that are ACTUALLY being neglected through parent/gaurdian abuse, not some age rating logo on a product of someone's past time.

Unified Platform! Games compatible on home and handheld consoles with same version of game. Which means 1 Mario Kart has to be developed per generation, which frees up developers to make other games. Twice as many games!

Is the Trine Enchanted Edition discount for Trine 2: Director's Cut owners a temporary or permanent thing? And, finally, Trine 2 is permanently discounted, after about half a dozen temporary discounts!

You mean if you then linked the USB HD to a different Wii U, would it be able to load them? Never thought of that, but I would say the Wii U has the ability to block that as it would cause rife piracy. People would go round their friends' house and copy their games over.

Just hurry up with the smart device app, I've been waiting over a year now and had Sony's since day 1 of the PS4.

I have both, and I wouldn't get Rune Factory 4 if I could go back in time. Not that it's a bad game, I just got to a point where I felt hopelessly lost with the combat element. I needed to level up to tackle harder enemies but I couldn't upgrade equipment etc in order to level up, so I felt I was in a catch 22 situation. But that's just me/my inexperience of this game etc. Rune Factory is a little more hard core gaming than Harvest Moon.

I gave up with 3DS flashcards a while ago, it was getting to infuriating fighting the firmware updates.

Just release an app similar to the PlayStation one, where you can preorder predownloads, browse player data etc. I like the PS one, and have hoped for Ninty one since they announced it OVER A YEAR AGO now!

Just Majora's Special Edition this week.

The hardware in phones has always been far ahead of traditional portables. Not all the games are free-to-play/pay-to-win, I got Ace Attorney triliogy for £11, £10 cheaper than the WiiWare version, and you don't have to fork out extra beyond the initial purchase if you play the game right. I don't think that continuing to make handhelds the way they have up until now will be the way Nintendo goes. They need a more smart device like system in future.

Damnit! Stop announcing more Lego games that cover x number of films and include new films as free dlc. I'm still waiting for the Hobitt 3rd part that was promised to be downloadable when the 3rd film came out. I haven't heard any word of it since the original game released!

Just release the Wii U version, what's the hold up?!

Didn't get on with Metroid Trilogy on Wii, and I'm getting Grim Fandango Remastered cross-buy on Playstation so Gunman Clive will remain on my wish list.

@cfgk24 Yeah I'd rather have the XL, which is what I imported. I'd love to know if the docking cradle is going to be made available outside the ambassador edition. The promotion description says its only available through promotion.

Waiting until next Wednesday to grab Another World 20th Anniversary before temp. discount runs out. Until then I'll be playing Pokemon Omega Ruby, and still busy with Smash on Wii U to be getting any Wii U downloads.

@Tritonus Well erm... no actually, it has already had hardware repairs done by Nintendo. So it's definitely either the OS or the games.

Was tempted by that really cheap Abyss Wii U download, then I noticed 0% in the poll, so nah, nothing for me this week.
