As Nintendo steps up its efforts to hype Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, it's no surprise that the Wii U version remains undated, with formal details no doubt coming after the portable brawler is on store shelves.

Sensible predictions typically peg the HD version of the fighting game, along with the amiibo toy range, for a November release. North American retailer Fred Meyer seems to have either made an educated guess or leaked information provided to the sales sector by giving out reservation cards with a date of 21st November.

This date would make sense, coming in just ahead of the Black Friday madness in stores, which is typically one of the busiest shopping weeks of the year. As the card notes the date could change, and we'd wager that a week earlier would also make sense. Whenever it arrives it'll go up against a host of big-budget triple-A rivals.

Is Super Smash Bros. going to be a day one buy for you this November, assuming the predictions are correct? Let us know.
