...and I still don't have a copy of SMB3! I'll never forget seeing it for the first time at a friends' house who imported a U.S copy, it blew me away. I guess I wasn't allowed it when I asked my parents. So I've been a SMW fanboy ever since!

I've noticed getting splatted by someone 5 sec's after splatting that player has become more common.

As I mostly play Nintendo, 95% of the time physical is cheaper! I was referring to Nintendo, rather than games in general, as that is what the article is about.

I don't like how their business practices have changed since they 1st came on the seen. Using auto bots to raise prices to inflated levels. Yeah your right, if I don't like it I wont use it (and haven't done for some time now). There are plenty of competitive alternatives nowadays!

I'm not saying they're offering digital only, but rather they're offering another way of getting downloads that are, in themselves, more expensive than physical copies anyway.

Making it even easier to overpay for digital copies vs. cheaper physical! No thanks Amazon, you've gone to the dogs lately.

I knew it! A hybrid handheld/home console, that is cloud based. A game doesn't have to be produced for a handheld then a home console because the hardware architecture is shared between both sytems. Twice as many games! My main concern is the rateof take up of fibre dsl, 'cause this babies gonna be hungry for bandwidth.

Would never sell my JAP copy, I love it too much. I never did find the last exit (96th)! A rush of nostalgia every time I pop the cart in.

Loved this better than the original. My only gripe was the ridiculous requirement to deposit tens of thousands of star bits with the bank toad. I had to find that out online, and I still haven't managed to aquire enough to unlock that ridiculous last level. I've also lost my save file since!

I remember going to a friend's house who imported a U.S copy early. I was boiling over with excitement to have a shot at it. I don't like the people who bash SMB 2, that was a fantastic Mario game, and very misunderstood amongst the SMB 3 snobs. To this day I've only played SMB 3 through as a borrowed copy, but hopefully I'll finally track down my own!

I'm getting Rodea on Wii U and possibly 3DS. Preordered well before expected release date, so I understand NISA when they talk about early warning. I watched twitch gameplay before the last cancellation day came.

Don't want any of the patched games, guess I'll have to keep waiting to use NFC on my 'New 3DS XL'.

Still playing Streets of Rage 2 from last week!

I only had a Wii last gen, but I've needed a PS4 this time aswell as a Wii U. Although I still play the Wii U more.

I'd buy that bundle if I didn't already have a Wii U. I'm getting this day 1, I don't care what's out on PC or PS4! How can Nintendo still offer the premium hardware bundles when the Nintendo Network Premium offer has ended months ago?!

I'm fine with this, he just doesn't feel as enigmatic as Iwata

I've been hoping for a better role for Mario, not just turning up at the door of a party for a brief cameo.

I always look out for Iwata's name in game credits. Only yesterday I saw his name in Yoshi's Woolly World and thought fondly of him. I dodn't know he'd died until today, and I feel really weird now.

Taken from us too young, I'll miss the man that brought me back to console gaming with the Wii. The Ninty CEO that I 'knew' the most about through directs and E3, something I didn't experience back in the NES and SNES eras.

I thought this was a sick joke when I read the headline! I feel a great sense of loss to a man that got me back into video games with the Wii. I'll really miss you Mr Iwata, you were taken from us too young.
