Loving this game And I love going to the bars and listen to the awsome music. If I can make a wish, it's to have an in-game soundtrack that can be played while the 3DS is closed, like in Xenoblade or Smash! Going to double dip on this one too, just like I did on Steamworld Dig.
@Ventilator Finally Shadow Puppeteer has come to the Wii U. It's awsome that the Norwegian game developers supports the Wii U. Teslagrad apparently has done very well in sales too. Rightfully so I'll say I've resisted playing Shadow Puppeteer on PC in order for it to come on the Wii U, so looking forward to play it this weekend!
Mario RPG is a SNES game I never tried, so that will for sure go in my basket. Legend of Kay is too cheap not to buy, but what about Darksiders II? Is it something worth adding to a huge backlog of games? For the 3DS I guess I'll finally pick up Monster Hunter 4. Got Bit.Trip on Wii U and liked it, so should get it on 3DS too. Will be a nice christmas this year
With a 32 inch TV I have been forced to sit closer to the screen, but for me its actually a good thing as I get to use my comfy Sacco chair which I use way too little But would be nice to have the option to get some bigger text...
Another day when one has all on offer As some Americans here are pointing out, these are great games at nice discounts, especially for those who buy most games digitally. Wish there were some indie games though for the ones who owns most 1st party games. Just have to hope there will be some nice christmas sales
I don't think one can compare Nintendo selling their games digitally and various retailers, as Nintendo never have the problem of getting rid of stock, which often is the reason for those ridiculous low prices you sometimes get at said retailers. I agree it would be nice if they could generally lower their prices on games that has been out for ages, but that doesn't seem to be their policy (I hope they have thought this through from their own business point of view), so from that these are great prices for, mostly, quality games. I also highly recommend Codename STEAM! But what about todays Wii U games, are they worth getting?
Wonderful 101 is 29.99€ with this limited time 40% discount here in Europe, while the standard price for this game is 29.99$ in North America and they get it for 19.49$ this whole week! (The euro also has a higher value than the dollar)! Anyway, I guess it's about time I buy W101 and add it to my backlog. It also bugs me that Ubisoft crapped on Europe and only had their summer sale in North America this year. Is this region bias thing something that only happens on Nintendo consoles or is it common on the other consoles as well I wonder?
I'm buying this game digitally anyway, but has there been any announcements that one can pre-purchase and download the whole game before December 4th in Europe as well? It will surely take some hours to download and install...
Awsome game Wish more developers took the gamble to utilize the gamepad as well as this. Will surely get it for the 3DS as well. Keep up the good and creative work.
Beaten the original game and waiting for this! Have it on the 3DS so I should get some time to play it while on the go. At home Super Mario Maker will surely fill my precious gaming time
All I can say is, if you don't have this game, BUY IT!! Doesn't make a lot of sence that they are going for a retail version, but it might make more people aware of the game (and it seems lots of people on here who already bought the game would like a retail version as well).
Seeing they did Battletoads for Xbone, maybe they'll do something like Ice Climbers for Nintendo :/
I don't mind this being ported to other consoles, but if a sequel comes and the Wii U is dropped, then this is bad news :/ Finished it and liked the game. The local multiplayer is cool
Apart from the big hopes of a new Metroid and a new Mario Sunshine (with the old one being released immediately after the Direct), I have small hopes like Zelda Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword coming on VC to ease the wait for Zelda U.
Another hope is something that shouldn't be too far off, a sequel or huge DLC expansion for Codename S.T.E.A.M.
Hopefully they have learned from this and will be more open and honest during their next projects. Dissappointing, but what more can we do? It's not gonna happen now. And I don't want to buy an expensive PC for this, nor a PS4/XBone. Would defenitely have gotten it on Wii U.
I'm more than slightly mad at Slightly Mad now I don't see any excuse for this, apart from the economics. I had faith in them, but they are just another developer not concerned about the Wii U owners. Sad
Bought it a couple of days ago due to a recommendation from a friend, but still haven't had time to play it. I like the games that really takes advantage of the gamepad. Before playing this though, Zombi U is still my top gamepad-utilizing game.
Wouldn't it be fun if the Slightly Mad Studios suddenly turned up and said, "Look here, the Wii U version is ready as we have been working on this the longest, but the others have to wait a bit more" - Ooops, you caught me daydreaming :/
@Kirk You choose original or faster speed by switching a button on the lower screen panel during alien movement. So you can change it whenever you want.
Having tried the demo with the update on my New 3DS I actually prefer the original speed. The alien movement feels chaotic and rushed to me on the faster speed :/ And I don't mind the suspense of waiting, so I'll be keeping the original speed! Enjoy your games, don't just rush through them!
SNES Remix! It's coming, right? Hope for a N Direct mid January with Star Fox gameplay and Mario Maker and Splatoon release dates. A European release date for the New 3DS would be nice too.
Thought I was one of a few voting DKC TF, but from the comments it seems it stand a chance and that it will be close between Smash, Bayo2, DKC TF and MK8. A great year for the Wii U especially! And next year could be better!! (I see Captain toad is nominated now, but I hope it will be on the list for next year for us Europeans to decide as well)

Re: Feature: Our Top 10 Wii U eShop Games - Third Anniversary Edition
I agree with Shovel Knight being number 1, but I really miss Teslagrad on that list. Child of Light and Toki Tori 2 would also be on my list.

Re: ZombiU Servers Reanimate After Being Down for Several Months
This is still one of the best games on the Wii U that actually uses the gamepad creatively. Loved it. Survival horror like it should be!
