While Nintendo of America went for a varied batch of Black Friday to Cyber Monday offers for its eShop cyber deals, Nintendo of Europe is opting for a smaller number of options spread across 24 hour windows. The first batch featured key Mario titles and The Wonderful 101, and the latest offerings blend some DK goodness with two other high-profile games.
As before there are two games reduced on the Wii U and two on the 3DS - details are below.
Wii U eShop
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze - €30 / £23.99 (normally €49.99 / £39.99)
- Pikmin 3 - €30 / £23.99 (normally €49.99 / £39.99)
3DS eShop
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D - €24 / £20.99 (normally €39.99 / £34.99)
- Ultimate NES Remix - €24 / £20.99 (normally €39.99 / £34.99)
As with the first day's deals these are short term, ending at midnight UK / 1am CET on 29th November.
Will you be downloading any of these games while they're on offer?

Pass once again, at this rate we are only going to see Nintendo titles and 8 in total on each platform? nothing compared to the NA sales!
Don't know why I expect much from the EU side at this point.
Great games on offer. Too bad one has all of them already Wish we could see some third party games like North America!
What rotten service. Random weekly PS Store discounts destroy this...
I'm completely dispappointed . Wish that NoE black friday sales were similar to NoA ones, but nothing. Where are the indie games?
@Tsurii you're right, you can find these games in retail version for the same price or little more. That's really sad.
Again good prices for some great games but not competitive.
Nothing for me here. Already have them in one form or another. If they're just going to be doing first party games I doubt there's going to be anything for me. With the exception of Devil's Third I've bought all the first party games I've been interested in at or near launch anyway :/
I'll be getting Pikmin 3 later today.I only buy digital now and the cheapest I've seen anyone selling a download code for it is £29.99.I believe you'll also struggle to get it on disc now for for under 30 so this is a bargain to me
@lucasav88 Good luck finding Pikmin 3 for €30 in retail. If you can even find a copy, they're usually €60.
Black friday is an North American thing, so I'm already pretty surprised to see Europe offering deals like this.
This is rubbish.
Kinda wish I'd got 101 but its only £26 on amazon so maybe no panic yet
Tropical Freeze for me ☃
@lucasav88 You get various indie discounts all year long, while Nintendo titles rarely get any discounts on the eShop.
Nintendo are the stingiest company going when it comes to pricing things and it people selling used games take advantage of that. Even theirs sales are pathetic.
I would have liked a virtual console sale though.
Even with 40% off digital copies are not good value.
With a physical copy you can play it, trade it, lend it to a friend, let another member of your family play it. But a digital copy stays on your machine forever. If you don't like the game, find it to hard or whatever you have lost your money.
Like ebooks egames should be sold at a price less than a physical copy.
I already own all games on sale on retail. I wonder why the EU sale is so bad vs USA sale.
@Ventilator same here I am not sure why they didn't have a day of nindies, a day of virtual console and day of retail.
Stingy Nintendo continue their stingy "sale" with stingy discounts for a stingy length of time on a stingy amount of games.
@zool
You can easily(?) lend ebook to friend.
Try same "trick" with egame.
Steam and gog only.(or not only;?i am not using origin and uplay).
Both DKC:TF and Pikmin 3 are two of my favourites on Wii U, highly recommended
@BestBuck15
In USA chargers are provide.
Better law?
For that price i want a pretty box as well :S
I never thought this would ever happen, but Nintendoeverything had that info already yesterday: http://nintendoeverything.com/european-eshop-cyber-deals-day-2-discounts/
Usually, NL is way more faster.
@BestBuck15 Well said i love the way Nintendo makes games (actually lately thats not true anymore either, Mario tennis anyone) but their eco system is the worst as usual i do my best to not supporting it and ill vote/march with my feet and just move along, My respect/regard for this company has plummeted over the past few years now it has to be said.
@DontPlayDumb Since New 3DS XL chargers aren't provided in the US either.
I can definitely see the pattern here so I'll predict the next wave:
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
Rayman Legends
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Kid Icarus: Uprising
For me, I'm willing to pay for these prices for digital games I really like and will keep on my Nintendo e-library. The rest I get the discs for no more than 20€.
I would have been happy to pay 40€ for Mario Tennis Ultra Smash on the eShop than get it physically for 21-40€.
@ThomasBW84 Actually the sales change at 11:00pm UK time/ 12:00am CET.
@Octane
60€ for Pikmin? Lol
http://www.saturn.de/de/product/_pikmin-3-familie-gesellschaft-nintendo-wii-u-1717493.html
Here it's 35,99€ (on amazon as well btw). And that's excluding the "Buy two, get one free" promotion for Nintendo games, that's still going on.
People are hard to please. Nintendo gives discounts, then everyone complains that it's not enough. Black Friday is originally an American idea and it's very new to Europe, so people shouldn't expect the discounts to be as good here. Plus, plenty of retailers here don't like it because at this time of year people used to buy things anyway and at full price.
I might get DKC Returns 3D, and I already have Tropical Freeze.
I just didn't enjoy the Pikmin 3 demo that much, so I won't get this game now.
Remember when that big sale was on with all the Guild games super cheap? Those were the days!
@zool Couldn't agree more. And, because there is not any unified account system, if your console breaks, you loose your game forever.
The "deals" aren't that much of deals anyway, especially on 3DS (as I only own the handheld so the 3DS discounts interest me). I can still find the retail games cheaper than this. And no offense, but doesn't like 90% of people already own, or at least tried, these games? 3D Land is pretty old, same goes with DKC (which is a re-release). That's a miss, mostly. But what would you expect to get from Nintendo besides Mario, Kirby, Zelda and Donkey Kong? NES Remix? Puzzle & Dragons? Really? Even with 60% off this wouldn't be worth the purchase.
I don't want to sound mean but their "Black Friday" Cyber Deals are pretty weak, especially compared to the competition.
@zool And on top of all that, physical copies of any but the most popular games are available for 40% off within half a year of release too, all companies seem to be pushing download gaming, but until the downsides to it are offset by lower prices, i'm sticking with physical copies of games as much as possible...
@crimsontadpoles honestly these are better deals than say GAME, both instore and online deals have been utter garbage this year
@DontPlayDumb explain the trick.
@zool
Thing.
@Wouwter
Thank you for information.
I have always remembered that 3ds xls packages in USA haven't got
that quote:"Hardware adapter not included"
Loosened?
@fluggy Nintendo are rotten when it comes to sales. The PS store has some absolutely amazing deals all the time.
I think I'm going to get DKCTF now. I have all the other games digitally too, so I don't need a physical copy of that one.
@DontPlayDumb forget it.
@KTT The NNID is a unified account system and if your console breaks it takes literally one call to connect it with a new one. You don't lose any of your games, so stop spreading lies.
For Nintendo AAA titles, some of the best prices are the pre-order ones. Otherwise Nintendo games hold their value fairly steady, unless you purchase second hand. My only hesitation over digital is that a purchase becomes immediately valueless in the second hand market. No re-selling of digital. Digital = a license to play that is not transferable. Physical = a transferable license. These don't seem bad prices for the digital versions. But, buying, playing and selling physical might be the more cash sensible option.
@crimsontadpoles if you're not giving discounts that make the digital versions cheaper than at retail, you might as well not even bother with discounts....
@shani actually NL has always been a slow Nintendo news site. Sometimes they report things that have been known for a week or even longer.
@scamander Germany is lucky then. From what I've seen in the last year or so, stock was low and the price was still as high as €60 in some retailers. €50 was on the low side, assuming they still had copies left. Not sure if they fixed some of the stock issues or what.. But that's definitely not the case for every store.
@DontPlayDumb Yeah, you take your US law that guarantees you a charger, I take my German health care instead.
manu0 not every1 goes to markets just to save 2-5euros and not every1 waits for amazon or whatever place you order to deliver. Here you get those discounts and in few mins depending on your internet you can start and play. Im happy with games so far took DKC
@Ogbert Good prices....more like RIP OFF.
I'd don't know why Nintendo bother putting their games on sale. They are already heavily overpriced as it is.
@abe_hikura I haven't purchased from GAME in years. They are pathetic.
@liveswired Uh...what ? Care to explain that ?
Nevertheless, these miniscule price drops are less than attractive, especially for a "one day only deal". You cant trigger an impulse purchase with a 5-10% discount.
Too bad they just feature games most people already own! At least that's the case for me, nothing to buy even though I want to. Why not a 50% off all VC titles or something like that!
More plz.
NES remix still too expensive. Should be £15 Max
@neyoung8 : Yes. surprising that there were no new Indie sale at all. I hoped to get Mario vs Luigi and some on sale.
@scamander its not 100% guarantee that Nintendo will allow you to re-download all games for free. I lost my original 3DS and Nintendo basically told me to go screw myself.
Few years later I lost my New 3DS and after about 5 phone calls Nintendo finally allowed me to re-download software for free.
Also the way the Nintendo account works is still a joke. What happens if I lose my Japanese 3DS? How can I call Nintendo Japan and get my software back for free. I don't speak Japanese, if my PS4 broke or was stolen, I can re-download US, EU, Japanese software instantly without making a single phone call.
Nintendo need to follow The competition and allow you to just sign in and download.
It's pretty simple and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the NX still doesn't allow this feature as software will be tied to the console.
And regarding black Friday sales, damn right people are hard to please. Why should us the consumers be happy with these pathetic sales?
Don't give me black Friday is an American tradition excuse either.
MS and Sony Europe offer much better sales to there customers in Europe. They want to actually create impulse buying.
Dunno what Nintendo's strategy is as its the total opposite.
@kobashi100
Yes because we're not getting a new My Nintendo account next year right?
Everyone one in here complaining about deals, you've been doing black friday for what 5 minutes now, you can't just expect to compete with America. This is there national holiday, bigger than Cristmas in America, and you want to compete? Its like a toddler trying to go up against The New York Yankees, sure it would be cool to see and you can hope, but what were you expecting to happen, really?
@Splatburst new Nintendo account with no actual details been given.
There is no confirmation that Nintendo have changed there ways. Tell me when did Nintendo say that software on NX will not be tied to the console?
@SirQuincealot how about match what Sony and MS are doing in Europe?
After yesterday's dullness, I'm all over this. Well, both the Wii U releases. the 3ds ones aren't for me
Tempted by Tropical Freeze but doubt I'd ever get round to playing it. (Have DKC Returns and Rayman Legends untouched on my Wii U)
Agree the discounts are underwhelming compared to retail and competition.
Buy these games physically and enjoy that beautiful box art in the palm of your hand.
@scamander For real they have a buy 2 get 1 free offer? I would love to get into that the problem is I don't see it on the site. How do i get the free game and do they ship outside of Germany?
Anyone want Ultimate NES Remix for 12 pounds with free shipping to all of EU?
http://www.zavvi.com/games-3ds/ultimate-nes-remix/10994686.html
@LemonSlice Its not all of EU...
@Dimitk0o It works automatically as soon as you put three Nintendo games into your basket (excluding pre-orders, though even those worked in the beginning). Like most other local retailers with online stores, they don't ship internationally unfortunately. Sorry! :/
@Dimitk0o: okay, my bad. We're the newest EU member and get free shipping, so I just thought it was so.
@Tsurii Hi! Please get Tropical Freeze. Heck, if you have to get it at full price, whatever, it's seriously worth it. It's one of my favourite games, just, in general. It's marvellous, from start to finish.
@LemonSlice I'm pretty sure their shipping is free in almost all of Europe and ALL EU countries.
EDIT: except for Ireland for some strange reason. oO
That's odd.
@kobashi100 @Splatburst It's a difficult situation, you'd think Nintendo has learnt by now and games become tied to the Nintendo Account once it launches in March but on the other hand you could say the same thing nearly 5 years ago when 3DS launched given Sony and Microsoft has been doing this since 2006 and 2005 respectively. Everything is just speculation at this point.
@Plainsville Tropical Freeze and Pikmin 3 are excellent deals. Some of the best WiiU games they are.
@Grumblevolcano Games are already tied to accounts. The sole problem is, that those accounts are also tied to hardware and Nintendo is the only one able to do a transfer in case you don't have the old and new piece of hardware on hand.
Iwata confirmed last or two years ago on an Investor's meeting, that accounts won't be tied to hardware any longer, though. So if Nintendo didn't change its plans, it's safe to assume we will gain full control over our accounts.
@scamander Yes, don't have any idea how they manage that but like that about the site. Once ordered a humongous boxset, and still had free shipping.
@LemonSlice hope Amazon matches that. Won't use Zavvi ever again.
@kobashi100 What happened?
I'd love to download DK Tropical Freeze but it's 11GB to download and there's no chance of having that much space.
DK Country Returns on 3DS is good for me though
How long will we keep getting these daily sales? Will there be another two retail games tomorrow? I downloaded Pikmin 3 as I enjoyed the demo but wasn't willing to pay £30+ for it for the retail release. I already have the other games (NES Remix 1 & 2 on Wii U).
Buy these games physically and enjoy that beautiful box art in the palm of your hand.
I really don't care for videogame boxes. There's no joy to be had for one to clutter up shelves never to be touched until I eventually many years later decide to sell the game.
@Octane Sainsburys has Pikmin 3 right now for £2 more. Much rather spend an extra 2 quid for physical than less for something that I most likely won't work in the future.
@scamander Unified account system is similar to one on Steam. You have 1 account, on multiple devices. Like now, I have 2 computers. And I can play games on the older one or on the newer one. No System Transfer, no calling, no sending computer overboard if something bad happen to it, no additional costs for shipping and no waiting.
A friend of mine did call Nintendo when the System Transfer failed on him. And Nintendo did nothing about it, even after multpile messages sent to them. He literaly lost all of his games. This is a fact, not a lie.
Edit: Also ditto what @kobashi100 said.
Ultimate NES Remix is £23 nee on Amazon. Seriously, Nintendo's digital sales are rarely any good. They need do it Atlus style on occasion
Much rather spend an extra 2 quid for physical than less for something that I most likely won't work in the future.
I've been downloading games on Nintendo consoles since 2006 and not once have I ever permanently lost a game. But I have had to trash a few discs due to scratches.
@LemonSlice dunno if they changed but they use to have items for sale which wasn't actually in stock so would end up waiting way longer for it to arrive. Just left bad taste so dont want to use them again.
Nintendo are trying their best NOT to sell games. It's about the only thing they are good at these days. I'm now calling them Notforsaledo.
@Bass_X0 You're one of the lucky few.
@scamander Well, not really, let me tell you a story. The digitizer ribbon and connector broke in my old 3DS XL (either the touch screen didn't work at all, or the entire console turned off the second I pressed the power button, since it requires a working digitizer), and I was on a brink of losing EVERYTING I had on the machine, and Nintendo was helpful as ever (I actually sent a mail to Nintendo UK, since there's no "Nintendo Poland", or repair centers here. They pretty much sounded like "haha too bad you NEED to do a system transfer or else you will lose everything". Of course much more formal and such, but that was pretty much their reply in a nutshell).
So yeah, the account is SO unified, I had to open up the console, get to the lower part of the motherboard, set a very shabby connection between the digitizer ribbon and the connector and pray to God it will last for those two hours, until the system transfer to my new 3DS completes. It did. But the touch screen completely stopped working two days later.
So yeah, is that what a "unified account system" is nowadays? Boy, my PSD ID/Microsoft and Steam account will be surprised.
@Sligeach Agreed, Nintendo really hate their fans. They just try and fleece us for every penny we have and do their best to destroy 3rd party support.
I'll add that it's completely Miyamoto's fault Nintendo have been on a downhill slide for so long - he is the reason it took them so long for online investment and lack of digital sales to maintain 'value' for the consumer.
@crimsontadpoles Lol, poor Nintendo - fleecing and milking their fans dry for years, price fixing, alienating 3rd parties and another pathetic sale of their games. No thanks.
Pikmin 3 is a good price for the UK so picked that up as I have been pricing watching it for over a year. Hoping for Captain toad in the next 2 days and hopefully some eshop deals. Come on Nintendo, show us some love!
another pathetic sale of their games.
You don't like to save money? I was only expecting Super Mario 3D World and The Wonderful 101 so this 2nd day is a pleasant surprise. I'm thankful for the Pikmin 3 sale.
I was hoping for a xenoblade wii discount or some virtual console titles, but from what's been offered so far, I won't hold my breath
Already got them.
I'm half expecting today's deals to be 7% off "I love my pony" or the like.
@manu0
I am not from USA
LOL at this sale. Ultimate NES Remix is £11.99 at Zavvi right now (new) vs. £20.99 at the "Black Friday Sale" price.
More like "Black Friday Fail" price.
Latest one is Kirby and Codename Steam for extortionate prices.
more and more ridiculous
@liveswired try Nintendooooooooooomed, that's my favourite, the more 'o's you include, the more smart you look to friends and strangers alike that you came up with such ingenious names. I mean, not that you need to prove your intelligence to us, we're all already convinced that you know your stuff. Can you please comment on the thread with tomorrow's sales more insightful commentary? I can't wait to hear more!
loool these comments are soo amusing to read!
Everyone is having a big argument to Nintendo!
@123akis they are pretty garbage sales to be fair, but some people are taking this waaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. If it isn't AC amiibo Festival that they're whining about it's the lack of Wii U sales/games or the weekly digital sales on the eShop or Starfox Zero's graphics or Zelda on NX or Paper Jam not having any story. Gotta get drunk on that whine whenever and wherever Nintendo are concerned.
@TheLastLugia Exactly! People do take these things way too seriously and that's why each of these comments are so amusing to read.... but yeah, the pricing of physical retail games on Nintendo eShop is absolutely ridiculous! Seriously though, why the **** would I pay £10 or even £20 more for a game on the eshop when I can get a physical copy much cheaper! However, if I do want a digital copy, I would buy the download code from game.co.uk as the pricing there for DL codes is reasonable.
@Waninoko Well, I get that that's frustrating, but I don't understand why you did contact Nintendo UK?! First of all there are contact details on the polish Nintendo website (I just looked it up); secondly, even if there were no direct contact person within your region, you should contact Nintendo of Europe and not Nintendo UK. Nintendo UK has nothing to do with Poland, Nintendo of Europe is responsible and I'm sure they would have fixed this (at least they did for me in the past).
Ok, now I'm a bit disappointed, too!
http://nintendoeverything.com/european-eshop-cyber-deals-day-3-discounts/
Tomorrow we will get:
Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush – €27.99
Game & Wario – €23.99
Kirby Triple Deluxe – €27.99
Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. – €23.99
If they don't at least offer Bayonetta 2 on Monday, this sale was really uninteresting for me. Although I still don't really want to complain. I never wanted Bayonetta that much, otherwise I would've bought it already. I'd just like to add it to my collection (or what some people call "backlog", which is just a euphemism). But whatever, if it's not on discount, I don't need it anyway. I have Splatoon and a lot of great games on my console and there are more coming shortly (XCX, Fast Racing Neo).
Day 3 Wii U: Kirby Rainbow Paintbrush (30%) and Game & Wario (40%)
Less compelling discount and less compelling game.
Day 3 3DS: Kirby Triple (30%) and Codename S.T.E.A.M
Also not so great. I've seen STEAM go very cheap recently on Amazon
@KTT - I love how people with an agenda always have an experience with a specific circumstance to continue to push that agenda after the original statement is proven false.
In your case, you state that if your system breaks, your digital games are gone forever. Obviously that's not true, and it was exposed so:
You claim:
"A friend of mine did call Nintendo when the System Transfer failed on him. And Nintendo did nothing about it, even after multpile messages sent to them. He literaly lost all of his games. This is a fact, not a lie."
Amazing! This particular circumstance happened to a random friend...how convenient and fortunate so you could come here and let us know in case your original misinformation was exposed...of course this happened to your "friend".
@Action51 To a friend of mine, to @Waninoko and to @kobashi100 with their first system apparently. And seeing more instances on the internet I read couple years ago (at one moment I was affraid my old 3DS will break - the only solution to save my games was sending my 3DS to Nintendo overboard, which would cost more money than simpy buing a new one (as I did later)). Seeing all of this I decided not to trust Nintendo with their wonderful NNID and System Transfer as things can easily go wrong. And this is why I tend to warn people around. Being extra careful will no hurt anybody and you may save yourself from loosing a lot of money. Especially when you consider the fact that many of people here simply don't have access to Nintendo services in their country.
If Pikmin 3 was that price for physical, I'd think about it. For digital? GTFO.
Kirby Triple Deluxe may tempt me though...
@KTT - Wow man, you're like the "it could happen to you" guy...
The reason I don't believe your story is because you come on here trashing the Nintendo sales and downplaying digital...you throw out a line about not being able to replace games and you're called out on it for being wrong.
Now suddenly, you're an expert on the topic of Nintendo not restoring content...vague tales of it happening on the "internet years ago", and of course it happened to a "friend" of yours too!
You wouldn't be the first person who used game website message boards as a way to further an agenda. I've heard many more stories about people who called Nintendo and got their stuff restored.
Of course I don't have a friend that this happened to...It just isn't that convenient for me. I can't wait to meet all your other friends that will prove to be the exception to the rule when needed.
@Action51 Well, if you want a good example, then I am "that guy". See my comment #90. At least I didn't lose anything, and everything turned out ok in the end - but yes, even Nintendo admitted I could lose everything without the system transfer. And they wouldn't do a bleeping thing about it, as the game licences are tied to the hardware. At least they could just send me the official motherboard schematics and a "here, you need to fix this and that" description...
Something like that actually happened to my IRL friend some time ago. Yes, it was more of his fault (faulty system transfer), and he indeed lost everything, and we both tried to contact Nintendo about it, and they pretty much replied like "sorry, you have to buy the DD content again". If you heard some legit stories about Nintendo restoring the purchases, that's great news. But I guess they don't really care about customers from some small country (Poland), with no official Nintendo branch, so we wouldn't be that lucky.
@scamander The polish Nintendo website is just a website created a Czech Republic company called Conquest Entertainment. which agreed to become an official polish distributor of SOME Nintendo merchandise in the early 2014 (yes, when the previous one dropped the support, we didn't have ANY Nintendo distributor for nearly three years!). And when you go to the nintendo-europe.com website can you see the Poland on the region select screen? No, there is no Poland, because Nintendo doesn't exist here, we can only buy their products by online-only retailers and small, local game shops. Belive me, huge and major electronic stores (Media Markt, Saturn etc.) don't carry ANY Nintendo hardware. Nothing, zero, null, nada, only Xbox and Playstation stuff. Can you see how dedicated and desperate we need to be, in order to get something? (and that's games and consoles only, Amiibo and other goodies are even worse).
And to make matters worse, back then, when I had this problem, Conquest Entertainment didn't operate in our country, and everyone in Poland, not just me, didn't have any other choice, but to contact either the UK or Germany branch. This is how bad things are around here, when it comes to Nintendo.
@Action51 Certainly, I understand your point. My arguments alone might not be strong (and even I would be mad if someone would talk rubbish on one the better game developer out there). But I will stay in my statement as I have no reasons to disbelive what I saw and what was told to me. If this stuff happens to people around me then certainly the system isn't working quite good, especially for XXI century standards. It is good that it works for you and to many other people. But here, where, untill recently, Nintendo didn't exist, we were out of luck if our 3DSes would break or got stolen.
All I learned from this entire talk on this site is the fact that you are capable of restoring your digital purchases (which actualy brought some hope here). But the system is faulty, especially if you are in the wrong country (or region), like me, few years ago.
Side note: trashing about the sale is justified considering that the games can be bought cheaper (and new) in some shops. Though, I must admit, lately I grow more bitter on Nintendo, so I express myself more loudly than usual.
@Waninoko Now that you told me this, I remember a NL article about the situation in Poland. I'm sorry, it's that bad there. :/
I noticed the contact information on your homepage was from a Czech company, but thought it was your local distributor for all Nintendo stuff and also responsible for providing costumer service.
For as long as the situation is like this, I'd still always contact NoE in Germany directly. I'm sure you can write to them in English and I know they can transfer accounts easily (and do so). The question is, if they also do it if you are from a country where Nintendo products aren't officially distributed. But honestly, I can't think for a reason, why they wouldn't. You are, after all, still a paying customer.
@scamander Well, it is quite a challenge to get them here, but don't worry, we will always find one way or another.
Contacting the Germany nowadays could do the trick, as they started handling the Polish eShop payments lately. So I guess they might be much more helpful than the UK branch. Can't quite remember who handled Poland way back in 2013, when my old 3DS broke.
And speaking of Germany, I loved all of those cool Nintendo commercials they used to show on Super RTL/RTL II, which I used to watch as a kid. I always wondered why aren't they showing such nice stuff on Polish channels, especially during the GBC/GBA era, when we had an official distributor, and Nintendo was fairly popular here. :/
