The nice thing about Miiverse was that it is mostly fans of the games posting and commenting. Not much of the usual stupid internet trolling. What would a game like Super Mario Maker be without Miiverse? Glad to see it back in Splatoon 2, just hope the Switch users manage to behave as well!
@erv and others who wondered about the Switch and overheating. Watch Spawn Wave's video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHy_TOdVHqQ where he tests the heating of the Switch while using this mini-dock. Half way through the video he also explains a bit about the airflow in the Switch.
Use my old Bose QC15 when travelling with the Switch. The noise cancellation on planes, trains and other noisy places is worth a lot and they are comfortable to use and have decent sound quality.
I'd say it's worth its initial price too, but everyone with a Switch should pick it up at this discounted price! A bit different plattformer, but a really enjoyable game
Got Steamworld Dig and Steamworld Heist on both 3DS and Wii U. Great games, so this one is gonna be a day one buy for me. Can wait for it to be as good as they want!
And I want the gameplay to be exactly like the other versions so that I get to practice and don't have any disadvantage playing FIFA with friends on their consoles. And that it feels the same for them coming over to me and play it on the Switch!
Did anyone at E3 report that they got to try the Switch version docked? It sure won't look as good as the other versions, but I just hope it holds up. We need good sports games. They are one of casual gamers biggest reasons to buy consoles. Like my neighbour who is waiting to switch out his old PS3 (for which he only has FIFA games and some shoothers) with a new console when FIFA18 comes out. Wish I could recommend him getting a Switch, but don't know if I should bother to try convince him...
It was overall quite good. But I have a few questions that I wish had been answered. Release date for Skyrim and what platforms are Beyond Good and Evil 2 coming to. Other than that I had hoped for a bit more info about MP4, but I guess for most people it's enough to know it is coming in the future. But if it's not Retro developing it, what are they up to?? And what about Platinum?? Looking forward to next E3 already almost...
The story mode is maybe cut out because they need to limit the size to fit on a cartridge? Hopefully not much extra downloads needed. The fact that FUT is there makes this very promising to me. It will probably be miles better than the 3DS versions ever were and I even liked having them on the go! Most likely day 1 buy and looking forward to seeing some actual video and screenshots soon
When I bought my Switch I never had in mind that I would get these AAA games that largely avoided the Wii U. But I don't mind getting these games even if they are slightly inferior on the Switch as I think the portability factor is a good selling point for most of Switch owners. I personally would not have 100+ hours in BotW if it wasn't for the handheld gaming on trips etc. But one game that is announced and I don't hope EA get to creative with in terms of "adapting" to the Switch is FIFA. That needs to be a genuine port if the Switch shall be a huge success in Europe!
Skyward Sword! If it could be played with regular controls it would be top of many more lists. Very well scripted, cool dungeons and a charming world. Ocarina of Time is a close second for me... until tomorrow at least!
Day one buy! Like @BigBadJohn 's plan My wife has enjoyed Wii Party and such games before, so I hope we can enjoy this together too. Although, we seem better at competing (fighting) than cooperating Hmmmm
@SLIGEACH_EIRE That test you are linking to was done with brightness and sound on max and wireless on. Other tests with more handheld mode friendly settings has shown the battery lasting just over 3 hours. Like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiBtZ34vuQg
Having never played Skyrim, will my enjoyment of the game be much less if it turns out to be the original version? For me the gameplay is more important, so as long as they enhance the graphics to the point where the games performance still is optimal I'll probably be satisfied.
For that price I'll finally give Watch Dogs a chance! Never had any hype for that game, so hopefully I won't be dissappointed Can absolutely recommend Splinter Cell Blacklist, AC IV and Child of Light, especially at these prices!
I guess Nintendo found out early in the Switch development that they shouldn't make Gamecube games available on the Wii U VC in order to have one more selling point for the Switch. For one who never owned a Gamecube I'll be happy to finally play Luigis Mansion and Mario Sunshine
Awsome. These games are excellent to play on my short metro ride to work! I found the first two games to be quite similar in terms of types of boxes, but this one seem to have a lot of new ideas Bring it on!
If this is a list of 25 retail games for those who, like me, doesn't own another home console than the Wii U, there are more multiplatforms that deserves to be on this list. AC IV Black Flag and Splinter Cell Blacklist are two games I would instantly put on this list. Maybe Mass Effect 3 as well... but what to take off the list?! Star Fox and New Super Mario Bros U at least!
@CharlieSmile I thought it would only have to be done once, but yeah it's an nuisance like this. I guess they are aware of it by now and hopefully will fix it very soon.
@Koapa Same happened to me, but you have to go into the e-shop again from the game itself (I went in from the cup pages) and when you close the e-shop to get back it will unlock the dlc!
An awsome game from a great developer. It takes time and practice to get good and learn the tracks at the different speeds, but it feels so rewarding when you finally master it Looking forward to the DLC and any new stuff Shinen is working on.
Looking forward to Fast Racing NEO getting more tracks and cups Maybe more people will play the online multiplayer again. And hopefully Shinen will fix the rankings and remove records set by exploiting glitches!
I've played Runbow a bit, mostly on my own, recently and if they upgrade the single player a bit Runbow Pocket is gonna be a very nice game to play on my 15 minute commute by metro to work. But the home console version is defenitely best played with lots of friends for a fun time together.
I found the gameplay in Plague of shadows difficult and gave up. Loved the original game, so feel sad for being such a lousy gamer But I look forward to more content. Maybe time to get it for my Wii U and see if it's better to play as Plague knight with better controllers!
This is too hard!! SMB3 is my sure choice. But any of Zelda, Metroid, Castlevania, MegaMan 2, Kirby and SMB could be the other two. Looking forward to both play and let my kids experience the mini NES
I liked Teslagrad very much and look forward to their next game, especially since parts of it is set in the same universe Maybe Oleg or the King will be back?!
I live in Oslo and I plan to visit the exhibition in a couple of weeks. Apparently Game On 2.0 is a extended version of the concept which they added in 2010 and, as it is doing now, can run parallel to the original Game On. Source: http://www.barbican.org.uk/bie/game-on Well, finally I get to try the Virtual boy and find out what all the fuzz was about
I quite liked Codename STEAM and the turnbased strategy game with its overwatch element. The story was so and so, but the ending kind of teased a sequel... Like someone else here said, this game is a better fit for a big screen console, so lets hope a sequel comes to that!
Getting this on Thursday for sure. Just beat the game on regular, so playing it again on a harder difficulty with the Outsider expansion should be great
Looking forward to it Usually you get great value for your money from Image & Form, so got no doubts this will be any different! Now, if they only could make that soundtrack available in sleep mode...
@Dezzy Scandinavia is Sweden with 10 mill, Norway with 5 mill and Denmark with 5 million people. The Nordic countries also include Finland with 5 mill and Iceland with their 300 k people. But yeah, there has been made a lot of great games from here in recent years

Re: 3DS OS Version 11.5.0-38 Is Now Available for Download
Can't we just be honest and say what these updates really are. Nintendo trying to keep pirates from hacking their hardware to play all games for free!
