@bozz Have played a few hours so far and there are indeed quite a few bugs, but I have yet to discover any game breaking ones. Though there is noticable lag sometimes and it can be annoying when it happens and you are using your shoot meter. Made me miss the target a few times in golf. Outside the story mode you can play courses, I tried that and got an error at hole 7 of 9 and it kicked me out. So far for me, it is a quite fun and a worthy follow up on golf story, but it will need some patches before I can fully recommend it.
There should rather be a list of top 10 games (or game equivalents like Smash and Mario Maker) you can't find on the Switch.
10. Fatal Frame 5 9. Assassins Creed IV 8. Zombi U 7. Need for Speed Most Wanted U 6. NES Remix 1 and 2 5. Yoshi's Wolly World 4. Splatoon 3. TLoZ Twilight Princess HD 2. TLoZ Wind waker HD 1. Xenoblade Chronicles X
A lot of great games for cheap prices here. Got most of the ones I want already, but Child of Light for that price is a steal and I haven't played it since the WiiU, so maybe. The soundtrack is one of my favourites ever! Happy holidays everyone
I just had my first playthrough of Limbo. A bit dark for my taste, but still got me intrigued for Inside, so my weekend will be getting through that. Among some journeying in The Outer Worlds.
Hope we get some info on how much it has improved. Haven't had time for this game so fra this year, but hopefully that has just been a convenient waiting and I'd like to be content with paying full price if the developer has made as good an effort that they can.
Metroid Prime trilogy, Super Mario 3D collection, Super Mario 3D World, Star Fox grand prix and the list goes on... I'll put Skyward Sword on it as well and I don't believe it before I see it!
Same as last year, but I don't really get the timing of these! Why don't they post them earlier in the summer? Not when summer (as far as a holiday go) are almost over :/
Playing through Xenoblade Chronicles again. Played it on the 3DS before and playing it on the tv and even handheld on the Switch feels like a massive upgrade in graphics. Love all the other improvements they have made and the game is even more awsome now. Looking forward to start Future Connected when I'm done with the main story during the summer!
@Guitar_bard and @Anti-Matter I've put the days in Fantasy Life and the 3DS to rest after the Switch launched, but that is a game I would love a HD remaster of or a sequel on the Switch!
Just got the bioshock collection free on ps plus last month, otherwise I would have bought them. But Borderlands and Xcom is tempting... although they have to wait a 100 hours of playtime for me to play through Xenoblade Chronicles again!
29th of May gonna be an expensive day! And the Ring fit update is a nice addition. Hope they extend that game even more and get more of it shipped out. Hope Burnout Paradise is a good port and I'll be interested. All in all, a totallt fine Direct. Just one big Nintendo reveal would have made it a great one imo. Surely there will be one big Direct before the summer...
Almost through the game now, after some 120 hours in and its been a wonderful game for me. Haven't had much trouble with crashes or things like that, but I recently was in a cave where I couldn't dive under water, although I could see that there were chests and other lootable objects at the bottom.
Nice review. After reading this review (and comments) and seeing SwitchedOn's top 10 list, this might well be my first game purchase of 2020! Happy new year!
So many awsome ports these days, something for everyone is so good to see and that its not only Panic Button, but Feral, Saber and many others that manage to make great ports! The top 3 games are all worthy of the podium and games I recommend trying out in handheld form, especially if you haven't played them before. I'm almost done with The Witcher III, so now Rockstar, when is that GTA V port coming??
I'll finish Luigis Mansion 3 co-op with my daughter, we are finally on the 15th floor now. And I'll get time to finish The Touryst and King of cards and maybe the Witcher 3. And as usual I'll play a bit of Grid Autosport in between, looking forward to getting online multiplayer for it!
Tempted to pick up Katana Zero and Ori. Also as usual huge discounts on Ubisoft games. Can really recommend Child of Light and the South Park games. Does anyone know how Trials is on the Switch? Worth picking up??
King of cards first and foremost and then a bit of Witcher 3 and Grid Autosport. My daughter and I are also nearing the end of our Luigis Mansion 3 adventure and it has been a very enjoyable co-op experience Want more like this Nintendo!!
Been fine playing this solo, but looking forward to the online multiplayer. Hope it will be close to the other versions as it has a lot of cool features (garage with upgrades and customization), weekly challenges and lobby options. Lobbies should maybe be a bit simplified depending on the size of the userbase. But we here on NL should be able to have some good races. Will make a forum thread for it when it releases!
Took a break from the Wytcher III to play the Touryst, been a refreshing break. Half way through I can really recommended this game to any gamer. A must buy e-shop title that takes almost no space in your digital storage!
I want to try this game, but I feel the download size is disturbingly large for a game like this. It should at least run smooth before I'll buy it and give it precious space on my micro SD card!
Defenitely Grid Autosport as no.1 for me. Although the game is a few years old, the port is outstanding and really tailord for the Switch. All the control methods implemented, even the Gamecube controller with analog triggers, shows how much love and care Feral interactive put into this port. On second place the goose game and third is most likely Ori, though I haven't gotten around to it yet.
Edelgard is my clear favourite in the game, but I married Doro in the end of my Black Eagles playthrough :/ And I will most likely recruit her and Petra in my Golden Deer playthrough...
I like to play football games and I bought both FIFA18 and FIFA19 on the Switch and felt the core gameplay was alright. Put in a few hundred hours in them and had some fun, even with the poorly featured UT (without spending money), but I'm not getting FIFA20! Had they just put in a tiny, tiny effort and added Volta, I would have bought it, but this legacy bulls*** stinks! A FIFA Street game for the Switch would be perfect, but I know I'm just dreaming
Played a couple of hours in the morning before work just now and it's awsome. Get the settings to your likings and even with digital triggers it plays fine. Can't say I miss multiplayer at the start of this game. Online leaderboards would have been welcome to get to know how you compare, but I think it's a good thing to let people practice in single player first and then we'll hopefully see each other on the track soon enough
A few more gameplay videos from youtubers who got review copies are out now. This really looks like one of the best optimized ports we have seen on the Switch in any genre. The choice of performance, graphics or battery saving mode, highly customizable controls, HD rumble strenght options ++ Can't wait to play it. Really 'well done' to Feral interactive!
A gameplay video by Feral Interactive with a good look at the graphics and many of the different options in the game dropped yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkZYV_MlrM4
Played the heck out of Black Flag on the WiiU. Great game, but I don't want to pay for it again and have it take up precious space. I'm interested in Rogue, but only if it is sold separately.
Been waiting and waiting and can wait a few more months December might be a good month with everything else coming in the next three months. Always nice with something cool to play around xmas
About to finish my first playthrough of Fire Emblem Three Houses, at the supposed last battle now. Approaching 60 hours of playtime and has taken me a month to get there. Fantastic game. 10/10
The reviews just sold me on this. Haven't finished a FE game since Awakening, but most changes they have made for Three Houses sounds interesting. A bit worried about the lenght, but if the story is engaging, I hope to play through at least one of the houses! But which one to choose...
I'm now on my third pair of joy-con and had drifting issues on the two previous left ones. Both have been lasting around a year before they got the issue, which is scaringly short for something that should be a quality product :/ The left grey launch joy-con started acting all weird quite suddenly, but the left red joy-con on my second pair has been developing a drift up on its own over a longer period. Will be interesting to see what issue my new yellow ones will get...
Just booted it up this morning and going through the story mode. Think I'll finish that and get all the new inspiration I can before starting to create. Spent a good few hundred hours creating on WiiU, so I wonder if I'll actually bother creating much this time :/ Right now I only feel like playing, but maybe the inspiration will come... I got that nice stylus in the mail today, so got to try it out at least

How did I miss this coming out on Switch?? Got it on my PS5 and have played it a lot, but I'll happily pay again to have this handheld. Sweet

Re: Poll: Pikmin 3 Deluxe Is Out Today On Switch, Are You Getting It?
Have it on WiiU with all the dlc, but I bought it on the Switch too now and I'm looking forward to play the story co-op with my kids.
Re: Review: Pikmin 3 Deluxe - Perhaps Not Worth A Double Dip, But The Choice Pick For New Players
Tried the demo with my kid and she enjoyed playing the story in coop with me, that makes it worth buying again for me!

Re: Poll: What Features Would You Want In A Switch 'Pro'?
I just want it to be powerful enough to get to play some more AAA multiplatform games handheld.
