Re: Award-Winning First-Person Horror Among The Sleep Is Creeping Onto Nintendo Switch

Lovely. Played it on PC when it was new. Took me about 3 hours to get through on a quite relaxed playthrough. In my hectic family situation it's good to sometimes have a short, but good and very atmospheric, game you can finish in an evening or two. Those are quite rare these days. Was also thinking of playing it again very recently, but now I'll wait and support the developers effort to get it on the Switch.

Re: Guide: Every Nintendo Console Ranked From Worst To Best

My top 5 would go something like this:
1. Switch
2. SNES
3. 3DS
4. NES
5. Wii U

I was a very moderate PC and Playstation gamer during the N64, GCN and Wii days and it was the Wii U that got me back to gaming and Nintendo. Had a Wii though, but that was mostly just for parties. The 3DS also got me reeled in with a great library of games. I have loved handhelds since the Gameboy and the Switch is all I could ever have wanted. As long as it keeps getting awsome games, both new and ports (would not mind GTA V), it's just gonna extend the lead it has already taken!

Re: Switch FIFA 19 Players Are Not Happy About EA Promoting FUTmas Event

icebear80

I have FIFA19, as it is the best sim to play football on the Switch, but I have never spent an extra buck on Ultimate Team. I did play the mode a bit, but the lack of ways to earn coins compared to the other versions of the game is just beyond frustrating. Absolutely no improvement from the FIFA18. If it wasn't for the fact that my hometown team is in it this year, I wouldn't have bought it and would have been fine with FIFA18 still. It's not like my favourite team Spurs signed any new players either

Re: Review: Gear.Club Unlimited 2 - Sluggish Controls Force This Real-World Racer Off The Track

icebear80

Auch! Harsh! Have played the game a bit since launch and have found the racing performance to be much better than the first game and have not experienced the issues the reviewer had :/ The load times are long and it's a bit more of the same, but how vastly different would people expect this to be? At least a 6 out of 10 from me. The price is probably set because the lack of similar games, but this game should be worth it if you have interest and can find it a bit discounted at some point.

Re: AAA Racer GRID Autosport Is Speeding Towards Nintendo Switch In 2019

icebear80

Finally alot of racing games are coming to the Switch. I'm happy! Btw, I use my Switch Pro Controller when playing Project Cars 2 on Steam and that works very well as long as you are able to tweak the sensitivity to your likings. Grid should run just fine, more worried about Vrally4 thats coming in a couple of weeks time, but I'm not that worried about the controls on Switch, analog triggers or not.

Re: Video: This Personal Video Game Collection Is The Greatest Of All-Time

icebear80

Been watching his Last Gamer channel for a while and can try answer some questions posted on here. He started collecting over 40 years ago, so it's taken some time. He seem to have good connections around the world as well. He works with repairing arcade machines, both as a profession and hobby. Apparently he has had some luck at the stock market as well, which has made this collection possible. And he probably has the luckiest kid ever, who is allowed to play all the games, age apropriate I guess, and arcade machines!

Re: Video: New Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Trailer Shows Off Extensive Car Customisation Options

icebear80

@Stocksy All we know is that this one is made with the Switch in mind, but the graphics doesn't look much improved too me either, but I'll play mostly handheld so it's fine by me. From the reveal trailer it looks like it has a bit more varied scenery than the first and we know they'll have more cars. Some wintery levels seem to be added. Always interesting to see how they apply the physics to that if there are snow or ice covered tracks

Buying FIFA19 although the lack of improvements to make FUT more equal to the other versions is really dissappointing. The new house rules mode looks fun, but the main reason to buy this years FIFA is that you can now play online with friends!

Re: Gear.Club Unlimited 2 Revealed Exclusively For Nintendo Switch

icebear80

Because of this announcement I took the plunge and bought the first Gear Club although the price felt a bit high. Played a couple of hours and it's a fun racing game with short races which makes it perfect on the go. Hopefully they can improve the physics a little bit and I would have liked a better overview of the track before the races. And a better soundtrack would also be very welcome and make the price more worthy!

Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct Livestream Coming This Wednesday

icebear80

Why are they having a Smash Direct (again ) 4 months before release?? Could it be that they are gonna give us something early? Like a demo releasing together with the online subscribtion! For me, like so many others who mostly wants single player games, the Smash focus was a bummer for the E3 Direct, but I can get a little bit abord the hype train if this game includes a good single player campaign. I'll buy the game anyway as well!
