Cool. Game. Me. Like. (a bit biased since I'm Norwegian and wish the Norwegian indie developers all the best) Bet there will be a brutal or tragic ending though based on their last game.
Enjoyed it when it released on Steam som years ago, although I'm not a big horror fan. Just Norwegian, as the developers, so I might be a bit biased, but it is probably the second best game made in Norway after Owlboy in my opinion You can beat it in a few hours, which is a plus for me these days
We should be thankful that they have the possibility to put the quality of the game as the highest priority and not just release it rushed to meet the publishers shareholders (puke) expectations! I'm looking forward to play King of cards when the time is right
Defenitely interested in a Trials game on the Switch and if Ubisoft is doing the game and DLC at the same time as the other consoles it's something I'd love to support
Should be a good edition to the racing game lineup on the Switch. Is the iOS version the full game with DLC? As long as it is I don't care too much what version they are porting as long as the controls are good and its playable in handheld!
Been playing some FIFA19 and Cities Skyline. Gonna try When Ski Lifts Go Wrong as I'm skiing almost every day (mostly cross-country though), but the thought of Ski Lifts going wrong in real life is kind of horrifying. It does happen :/
@imageform Couldn't see it in the presentation, so I want to ask if there will be characters we know from the previous SteamWorld games appearing in this quest?
Since it's an Image & Form game I'm surely gonna give it a try! The graphical design looks excellent as usual and I'm intrigued to see what more this game has in store for us story and gameplaywise. I guess that's what's important with a presentation like this
Lovely. Played it on PC when it was new. Took me about 3 hours to get through on a quite relaxed playthrough. In my hectic family situation it's good to sometimes have a short, but good and very atmospheric, game you can finish in an evening or two. Those are quite rare these days. Was also thinking of playing it again very recently, but now I'll wait and support the developers effort to get it on the Switch.
Smash, V-rally 4, Gear club U2, FIFA19 and Cities Skylines will always be around for shorter play-sessions, but I plan on finishing Torna. After that I'll hopefully treat myself with a runthrough of Firewatch and then Guacameele 2 if time hasn't run out!
My top 5 would go something like this: 1. Switch 2. SNES 3. 3DS 4. NES 5. Wii U
I was a very moderate PC and Playstation gamer during the N64, GCN and Wii days and it was the Wii U that got me back to gaming and Nintendo. Had a Wii though, but that was mostly just for parties. The 3DS also got me reeled in with a great library of games. I have loved handhelds since the Gameboy and the Switch is all I could ever have wanted. As long as it keeps getting awsome games, both new and ports (would not mind GTA V), it's just gonna extend the lead it has already taken!
I have FIFA19, as it is the best sim to play football on the Switch, but I have never spent an extra buck on Ultimate Team. I did play the mode a bit, but the lack of ways to earn coins compared to the other versions of the game is just beyond frustrating. Absolutely no improvement from the FIFA18. If it wasn't for the fact that my hometown team is in it this year, I wouldn't have bought it and would have been fine with FIFA18 still. It's not like my favourite team Spurs signed any new players either
Auch! Harsh! Have played the game a bit since launch and have found the racing performance to be much better than the first game and have not experienced the issues the reviewer had :/ The load times are long and it's a bit more of the same, but how vastly different would people expect this to be? At least a 6 out of 10 from me. The price is probably set because the lack of similar games, but this game should be worth it if you have interest and can find it a bit discounted at some point.
I'll pick it up for sure. Quite enjoyed the first one although it wasn't all that varied, had a mobile vibe and a quite high price. This seem to improve a lot and might be worth its price, especially for a racing fan. Then VRally 4 is out next week... oh happy days!
Finally alot of racing games are coming to the Switch. I'm happy! Btw, I use my Switch Pro Controller when playing Project Cars 2 on Steam and that works very well as long as you are able to tweak the sensitivity to your likings. Grid should run just fine, more worried about Vrally4 thats coming in a couple of weeks time, but I'm not that worried about the controls on Switch, analog triggers or not.
Enjoyed the first game as a racer for quick gaming sessions (although the load times were loooong). Looking forward to this almost as much as V-rally 4, but at least we know Gear Club is gonna run well...
@DABYX At least they have taken a bit more time with this game to port it to Switch, so hopefully they have done a proper job. Have faith in the developer. Gonna be interesting to see the reviews, but with the lack of a similar racers on Switch I know I'll get it anyway
Been watching his Last Gamer channel for a while and can try answer some questions posted on here. He started collecting over 40 years ago, so it's taken some time. He seem to have good connections around the world as well. He works with repairing arcade machines, both as a profession and hobby. Apparently he has had some luck at the stock market as well, which has made this collection possible. And he probably has the luckiest kid ever, who is allowed to play all the games, age apropriate I guess, and arcade machines!
Only played RE4 Wii version on Wii U and didn't enjoy using the wiimote and nunchuck, so I'll defenitely give it a go with normal controls on the Switch. It's a great game! Might try the others too
The only game in the Switch online library I keep playing. Was just 8 when it released, but remember like it was almost yesterday. Remember the hype from reading the Nintendo Power magazines.
@Stocksy All we know is that this one is made with the Switch in mind, but the graphics doesn't look much improved too me either, but I'll play mostly handheld so it's fine by me. From the reveal trailer it looks like it has a bit more varied scenery than the first and we know they'll have more cars. Some wintery levels seem to be added. Always interesting to see how they apply the physics to that if there are snow or ice covered tracks
Recently finished all the championships in the first one. It's a nice arcade car game to pick up and play for short sessions. Seems this will be more of the same, but I'll probably get it. Hope for a bit more varied stages this time. Would also have loved it if they could get real life tracks included, but more licenced cars probably cost them enough...
A physical version with the soundtrack I would buy in an instant. Tempting to buy it again anyway, because it's an awsome little game and the music might just be the best part. Highly awaiting the sequel and really hope it comes to the Switch day 1!
Got the first one on Wii U a few years ago. Very good game and over all not too difficult, but for some reason the patterns and the combos you had to do on the last boss became too much for me. Should maybe give it a go again on the Switch. I'll for sure buy the second one anyway! Nice surprise
Totally agree with this review. The lazyness they show with FUT this year is very dissappointing. Hope they read this review and can change it to make it more suitable to the much lesser playerbase.
Buying FIFA19 although the lack of improvements to make FUT more equal to the other versions is really dissappointing. The new house rules mode looks fun, but the main reason to buy this years FIFA is that you can now play online with friends!

Bought the 400 GB card a few months ago as my 128 GB was full and then some. I did not manage to transfer my games through the computer method. Couldn't get it unlocked or correctly formated it seemed. So I had to download everything again. Took its time, but worth it
Because of this announcement I took the plunge and bought the first Gear Club although the price felt a bit high. Played a couple of hours and it's a fun racing game with short races which makes it perfect on the go. Hopefully they can improve the physics a little bit and I would have liked a better overview of the track before the races. And a better soundtrack would also be very welcome and make the price more worthy!
Why are they having a Smash Direct (again ) 4 months before release?? Could it be that they are gonna give us something early? Like a demo releasing together with the online subscribtion! For me, like so many others who mostly wants single player games, the Smash focus was a bummer for the E3 Direct, but I can get a little bit abord the hype train if this game includes a good single player campaign. I'll buy the game anyway as well!
