Project CARS launches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 soon, with the Wii U release taking place later this year. To build up interest in the game - which has already suffered a couple of delays - publisher Bandai Namco has published a fresh trailer which aims to show off the progression of the game's single-player career mode.

The focus is very much on moving through the ranks, winning various racing disciplines and shifting from team to team until you "become a legend". It's stirring stuff, and not only shows off the variety of tracks and cars on offer, but also the eye-catching visuals.

The graphics shown in this trailer are almost certainly taken from either the PC version or one of the aforementioned next-gen editions, but hopefully the Wii U will be able to play host to something equally impressive.
