Re: The Virtual Console Isn't Coming To Switch, Nintendo Confirms

foodmetaphors

I’m okay with this given that it probably means more robust inclusion in the paid service that there was no way I was gonna be able to avoid paying (gotta Spla2n). But Nintendo needs to hurry up and make GameCube playable for me. I skipped the NES Classic due to already owning any of the games I’d want on Virtual Console and I got the SNES Classic, if there’s an N64 Classic I’ll skip it but I’ve been dying to get a chance to play through Sunshine and Thousand Year Door and to replay F-Zero GX. I’d be kinda surprised if they make a GCN Classic but I guess we’ll see.

want this as i’ve only watched the indigo series on netflix and wanna watch the rest, in order. $3/mo. isn’t bad but they really should just have all of it. also would i be able to watch this thru my appleTV? there’s a prime app now for it finally so would it run thru that or does it need a separate app or is it only available on computers?

Re: Guide: Essential Tips to Reach Level 100 in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

get a 5 star Rare Kitchen in your festival plaza. once a day you can boost a pokémon's level by 7 (assuming they are under i believe 79) for 100 FC and once a day you can also boost them by 9 if they are under 89 for 300 FC. So I level my pokes to 59 or 66, use the lvl 7 boost to go 59 > 66 > 73 > 80 then the lvl 9 boost to go 80 > 89 > 98 and I finish it off with two rare candies which occasionally regenerate at a spot on the first island. It requires some patience but it's so much more passive than sitting there grinding levels.

Re: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Are Getting Poké Bank Support Later This Month

foodmetaphors

I just want to have the bank accept pokémon from gen 2. got some shinies i've bred and duplicated and wanna send them up.

@ the first comment, I think the bank is well worth the $5, even if you're just moving mons between games that can trade with one another and u have a second 3DS, the transfers are much quicker if you wanna move a lot. the only thing it can't do is trade items. another thing is that they removed the national dex in gen 7 so if u wanna track which of the 802 pokémon u have, u'll need the bank

6/10? for a game almost everyone who wants already has in a more capable format. it's not even the most portable version, really, since the mobile version has been around for what, 5 years now? i guess get it for the kids if you have $30 to spend and don't trust them with a tablet or something idk.

Re: Review: Pokémon Gold And Silver (3DS eShop / GBC)

I started with Blue version but never got a game boy color so I didn't play pokémon again until HeartGold. This is my first experience with the original version of the gen 2 games and I gotta say, the game holds up much better than the originals having now played both (altho I'm still working my way thru it slowly I've only just reached Ecruteak). 10/10 from me. Not sure what more one could want out of these.

Re: Looks Like The SNES Classic Mini Is Just As Hackable As The NES Classic Mini

Obviously there are a few more games I'd like to see on it, but the 21 it comes with is more than enough and honestly when I see a long list of games I get frozen and instead of playing everything I play nothing. The included games will be more than enough to keep me busy and it's a pared amount to focus on actually completing some of these. I think the only included games I've beaten are Earthbound, Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country

Re: Splatoon 2 Designer Explains Why The Maps Rotate And Salmon Run Is Time-Limited

foodmetaphors

I'm ok with the maps being rotated especially now that they change every two hours instead of four. Makes me play all the maps and it keeps things fresh. Even the maps I like I can only play for a little while. There's also no maps I dislike or feel completely disappointed about like in the first game (Kelp Dome was a drag and Arowana Mall and Moray Towers weren't very fun until they added a little more to them)

so happy about this, when i caught the one in-game i forgot to reset for hp ice so now i finally have one with it. i just wish i could have reset for a different nature as I'd have preferred naive since it has a good attack stat. I lucked out tho, mine wound up with 0 attack IVs so it'll take minimal damage from Foul Play and hitting itself in confusion

@SilentHunter382 they're always Timid with this distribution. hope u got a good hidden power
