Im not sure what system's game footage was shown but the character models look like PS2 SpongeBob games. I hope it is good and not just a cash grab but the Gamemill label isn't reassuring.

Being able to race as Donatello is quite tempting, but it looks like a poor man's Mario Kart.

I was hoping that it will be THQ made game but it’s from other developer.

Seems like it won't be winning any awards for the character selection or franchise rep (expected at least 1 or 2 more franchise reps) let's see how it plays October.

The return to popularity of Nintendo marks the return of the franchise kart racer.

It's been eightteen years since Nicktoons Racing, which featured largely the same characters. So a return is less exciting than it may sound. And this is coming out ten days from now? With character materials and lighting looking like that?

There's something very "Madagascar Kartz" on Wii about it.

IMO, this look like a Mario Kart clone, from the powers to the way they jump ... It Could be good regardless...

I was hoping for Invader Zim to make an appearance, but I'm kinda glad they don't have him or Gir in there... the environments look too basic, and the animations are rather stiff.
Certainly a cash grab, although whose kids still watch Rugrats or Hey Arnold! ?

You know what would have been a great idea? Instead of making a new game that won't sell for obvious reasons, why not strike a deal with Nickelodeon to add their characters as DLC to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? I know Nintendo is still getting the hang of the DLC thing but I think that it would be incredibly successful, and in this case appropriate. Smash is a completely different beast as I think its best reserved for video game icons, but I don't see the harm in bringing in characters outside of video games for Kart.

Very dated visuals...but nostalgia may get me. If it’s priced decent.

The graphics look pretty terrible, but that’s not the most important thing at the end of the day. I love TMNT and kart racing games, so I’m looking forward to trying this out. At least it can’t be worse than All-Star Fruit Racing...

@foodmetaphors It would be a case of very crappy and a bit deceptive advertising if that is the case. However, we have seen cases (even in gaming) where the advertising doesn't necessarily reflect the final product for whatever reasons

Going to get this for my wife and me we love all the nicktoon characters featured in the game.

i got mario kart on the wii u so this will be something good for my switch if the gameplay is as good as mario kart.

This better have AAAHH Real Monsters characters...

@SheldonRandoms while the show regulars like patrick, squidward, spongebob, and his ole gal sandy are definitely the most obvious and best picks, i wouldn't mind mermaid man and barnacle boy, seeing as we actually see them drive a few times.

This might be as good as the old Nicktoons Racing game I had for PC.

Still looking forward to this, some of my most favorite cartoon characters in one game. I know its not going to be mario kart level quality but just hoping it fun enough to enjoy and possibly lead to a bigger and better sequel.

I hope it is good (even though we know it probably won't be). Old Nickelodeon was the stuff.

Wild Thornberries, Fairy OddParents, Avatar, and Zim are needed. Just overall variety in show representation is needed.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is so much prettier than this!

This is a game I'm expecting to be bad but hope it surprises me. Like the Teen Titans Go to the Movies of video games

My leg guy in the game would be pretty swell, everytime someone bumps into or hits his car, mmmmmmyyyyyyyy llllllleeeeeeeggg. And if we're lucky, game over man game over, but I think that's a totally different guy....perhaps?

@menzo1986 There is no chance the gameplay will be as good as Mario Kart. This is a budget title made by a company most known for shovelware, so quality and gameplay wise, this won’t be anywhere near Mario Kart. There’s still a chance this will be a decent, good and fun kart racer and I really look forward to trying it out, but if you’re expecting the same quality as Mario Kart you’re gonna be very disappointed.

I don't really see TMNT as Nickelodeon characters, but whatever. I think I'll just stick with new Sonic Racer that is coming out.

I has TMNT and Reptar, so I will be trying it out.

Also it looks more like a Sonic Transformed ripoff than a Mario Kart one which is a plus for me.

Hopefully, this game also includes some Avatar and Danny Phantom love.
