We've seen a number of enticing ports come to the Switch eShop, and Mutant Mudds Collection is another to add to the list. It has Mutant Mudds Deluxe, Mutant Mudds Super Challenge and the all-new Mudd Blocks in one package, with online leaderboards, video capture and Tate mode all confirmed as features.
It now has a release date of 14th December, but in a nice promotion you'll be able to save money if you pre-purchase it - the standard price will be $14.99USD / £10.99 / €12.99, but if you buy it from 7th December up to launch day you can get it for $9.99USD / £7.29 / €8.69, a saving of about a third.
Will you be tempted to get this at the early bird discount?

I need to try these sometime.
Hats off to him, that's a good price.
The standard price is good and the pre purchase discount is fantastic. I didn't particularly warm to the demo on the 3DS but for £7 I can be persuaded to get his new version. We'll have to see what else is coming out because the eshop has been pretty non stop lately.
I have MM on 3ds but never got the Super challenge. This may be the first time I double dip with Switch because it's a fun game and I also want to support anything Jools related. His games never disappoint and it's a bummer Chicken Wiggle didn't do better. That was a cute, fun little game.
I’m a massive, massive fan of both games, and this will be the third time I buy them and play them through to 100%, the first two runs on PC and 3DS.
Can’t wait!
Never played these games are they any good? Some things about me: not usually a fan of 2D platformers but I love shovel knight and super Metroid. I’m also not a fan of games that are really hard. Do you think I’d like the mutant mud games?
For sure in at the preorder price!
I wouldn't mind replaying the first game as a warm up for the second game, plus always a nice addition to the game library.
Definite purchase day one for that price , love the games 😀
I'll miss the 3D but happy to (partially) double dip at that early bird price.
@SimplyCinnamon53 If you’re into expertly architected and occasionally super difficult platforming, then yes, they’re great games.
I was really hoping to see this game come in around $14.99 CDN, but figured that was a long shot. I expected $19.99US, which would put it at $26 or $27 CDN. $9.99 US pre-purchase should put it right around $13ish CDN... That's a friggin' awesome price for these games! Besides making great games, Atooi / Renegade Kid always seem to get it right with the Loyalty and Pre Purchase discounts. Definitely top of the list of my favorite indie devs.
@thesilverbrick That 10 dollar price tag is pretty tempting. As long as the entire game isn’t incredibly hard it shouldn’t make me hate it too much
might have to quadruple dip on this (iOS, 3DS, Wii U) that's a great price
Anyone know anything about the puzzle game? Too many games to play to double dip
I'll probably get it. I didn't buy it on the 3DS or Wii U, so now's a good time. Kudos to the good early price.
Want this physical, but at that price will pre-purchase digital. And probably still triple-dip if we get a physical release.
@SimplyCinnamon53
It's a challenging but fair game, it just asks for tight execution as there's zero RNG involved, enemy patterns are very rigid.
I'll probably skip. These games are the best on 3DS in my opinion. The 3D can't be beaten.
If I buy this on the nintendo store, can i download it at a later date when I get a switch?
Has nintendo worked out the problem with purchase history on their platform?
@JRJalapeno I believe it's a re-skin of Bomb Monkey. My source for that is my Twitter timeline, so take it for what it's worth.
Sold! I will be pre-ordering this for the sweet discount. All the easier with a game that's known to be excellent (even if I've somehow missed it on previous hardware).
@SimplyCinnamon53 When I played this Vita a few years ago I found the core game (getting from the start to the finish) not too tough. It's getting all of the items on each stage and completing the various "extra" challenges that were super tough. Honestly for $10 you can't go wrong here! Hope this helps
@Drac_Mazoku Most didn't bought Chicken Wiggle on the 3DS for three big reasons:
1. The name. Sounds like shovelware.
2. The developer's name was not visible on the eShop's image/banner advertising the game. So many had no idea that the game had been made by a competent developer. It would've helped for sure.
3. The 3DS is on its way out. Its all about the Switch.
I'd rather have Dementium I/II ports instead.
Even without the discount that’s a great price ! Nearly bought this on 3ds now I have laid my 3ds to retirement I can’t resist at that great early discount price !
@Dayton311 it does help! Thanks a lot, I think I’ll be picking this up when it comes out
This game reminds me a lot of the Wario Land that was on the Virtual Boy. If you don’t know what it is, look it up and you’ll see the resemblance. I don’t think they copied it or anything just thought it was interesting.
At this price it's a steal of a game and I'm getting it. This will be excellent.
