Headup Games, the publisher behind Switch party hit Runbow, has teamed up with developer Napalmtree to bring Tied Together to Nintendo's hybrid console.

This colourful platformer quite literally ties players together into a chain, tasking them with getting past tricky, cooperative, experimental set-ups. In these environments, your skills of working together efficiently will be tested to the max as you overcome various obstacles, balance passages, and deadly surfaces like spikes or lava. This game wants to test your friendship just as much as your platforming skills.

As a team, you and your friends will have to coordinate your movements and jumps while clinging to the ground and walls in order to complete the levels and stay alive. The game promises to be a good laugh for those who like to play games alongside one another, with the official PR promising that things will no doubt end "in great chaos – and great laughter". Here's a list of the game's features for your perusal:

Features:
Play our award-winning and fun, local co-op 2D party game!
Tons of cooperative and non-violent fun for the whole family - from child to granny!
Over 40 challenging levels in Duo Mode (2 players)
And more than 20 tricky levels in Party Mode (3 or 4 players)
Finish levels as fast as possible to earn Gold, Silver or Bronze rankings based on your time!
Let the tied-together co-op fun begin!

There's no news of a release date for this one just yet, but we'll make sure to keep an eye out for any future news or announcements.
