As much as I'd love to scream from the hills "Make Sonic Adventure 3!" It's pretty clear they are in no shape to make one. They should keep it safe and do some 2D games for a bit, and jump back into 3D in a few years. Also, they really need to bring back the unlockable characters that act like sonic but have differences like no homing attack but instead flying. Even if they're way different like Sonic Boom, that's still okay. Just so long as they all work, unlike in Sonic Boom.
Oh, and because it should always be said, make Chao Gardens because that was one of the best design decisions you ever made and why did you ever stop??
I bought my copy and amiibo. I've supported his every american release. I even gave the guy my smash ballet vote. I really don't want to have to watch him die. I'm near positive if they made him a great adventure game in a house again and give it some decent advertising, he'd make more sales than the random platformer that came out of nowhere.
I support it. Voice acting is a really big factor in immersing me in these games. I think all game devs need better treatment than what (I'm lead to believe) they have, including voice actors.
I personally love auto levels. I haven't noticed any over saturation of them, though. I see them take, maybe, 1/12 of the levels I come across. I will, however, agree there should be a tagging system in place to filter levels, even if trolls will just throw every tag on at once wether they fit or not. It's better than nothing.
This is disapointing. As someone studying to become a game developer, I fear the day that my company would punish a fan who goes through so much effort to celebrate the existance of my creation. Whether he had an ulterior motive or not, (which this guy likely did not, I mean, two dollar tickets on an annual party?) If people are attending to have a good time, I would be proud to have my creations be a part of the fun. This is why I'm gonna be an indie dev.
I'm a huge fan of the little guy, and I've bought every game that released in the US, I even gave him my vote in smash ballot. I was excited when zip lash was announced entirely because I thought it would boost his recodnition, but, I don't know about enough to become a big hit... Sure he has an amiibo, and I'm sure they'll sell out, but that's probably not enough sales with the tiny amount nintendo will produce. I'll just have to buy my copy, cross my fingers, and hope.
...why? This only apeals to pre-existing minecraft fans and any of them could easily get this game on a system that plays minecraft. What a weird move.
This is news? Also Chibi Robo is my favorite Nintendo character. Not necessarily franchise since as far as american releases, I only really liked the first one, but park patrol wasn't bad.I would love an iteration on WiiU. And I would adore him as a smash character. He already has my vote.
This, sadly, isn't the first time I've heard of Japanese game developers looking down on and badly treating non-japanese simply because they were not japanese. Is this a thing in Japan?
I wouldn't mind the limit, but now that play journals are a thing, what happens when someone has a particularly long play session? I guess they can't record it all.
That many people didn't like the game? I got the first one on release and loved it. I thought, even at the time, that they made mickey a real character when before I thought he was just a face with no personality like mario.
Maker games? First to come to mind is Kirby. 2D metroid could work. I'd love to see their take on a 3D maker, like a Mario 3D Land sort of thing. Or an Ocarina of Time dungeon maker, with basic parts. Wii U is probably the best possible system to try maker games in 3D, anyways.
Personally, I'd have been 12x more excited if the federation soldiers where in Samus-like suits and not bulky mech things. And while I'm not absolutely pissed, I don't think I'd buy this cuz it just looks like a generic space fps with Metroid slapped on the title. I didn't watch all the gameplay but from what I saw the only metroid thing I saw was Super Missiles. And that's just missiles with the word super in front.
Wait people really thought it was bad? Sure, it was no big bang with new zelda and mario and Miyamoto running around swinging nintendo weapons, but it was not bad at all. They showed new games, and to be honest, seeing two online co-op multiplayer games for a handheld? That's something I thought I'd never see from nintendo. And you can't tell me porting hyrule warriors to 3DS isn't impressive. And if you count the world championships and the smash direct in this, which with how close they were, I would, I'd say it's been a good e3 for nintendo this year.
Personally, I think inklings would have a lot of great animations. Maybe pose with the splattershot, or just, you know, animate by changing to squid form.
I'm not saying I support pirate bay, nor this man's decisions, but I think this is a ridiculously high fine for making the website. And I'm highly unconvinced that in a prison that permits gaming, they can't handle having an NES in the building.
Twilight princess was my least favorite 3D zelda. So if such a title didn't bring anything significantly new to the table, I'd definitely pass on a purchase.
Already casted my vote. And the way I see it, if they get enough votes, there's no doubt a deal will go down and that deal could very well add the hd rereleases of the first two to virtual console along with getting us the duo in smash. And I love duos in smash. My mains are ice climers rosaluma and duck hunt.
Personally, I at the age of 9, asked my parents if I could buy Grand Theft Auto by recomendation of friends. We talked it over, I got my copy of San Andres, and it had little to no negative impact on me in life. That concidered, I would say that as a parent I would never let my nine year old child buy a rated M game under similar circumstances. However, I do believe the law should stay out of it. Sure, games like these (FNAF, youtube let's plays, ect) are more and more accessible to childeren, but that does not mean the government should be threatening child services. Parents make a lot of bad decisions that will effect their child, and this is only one of them. It's simply a problem of parenting that can't be policed so easily.
Mewtwoooooooooooo But really I hope this covers wii u releases this spring and summer. Like mario maker, mariokart/smash bros dlc, splatoon, and (starfox?.)
I've no problem with the game getting delayed. I do, however have an issue with it not coming to e3. That was my primary reason for wanting to watch e3 this year.
Guys the easiest way for this to work is actually very simple. Doesn't take much development time, and changes none of the gameplay or story. The answer is to simply let the player chose what gender the hero will be reincarnated as. Hell, with the new design, they could really get away without even changing the model. Just the pronouns. Or even more clever, never have anyone refer to link by gender, just "you" or "that kid." It'd be easy since dialogue refering to the hero in third person is usually scarce anyways.
Since they had them working, it'd be great if we could have had one ice climber. Popo or Nana. Just buff the attacks a bit and add a new recovery and I'd be more than satisfied.
The characters and story aren't really hitting anything for me, but that gameplay looks like fun. If it comes to a console I own, It'll certainly be on my wishlist.
I'm getting a weird sonic/my little pony vibe from the art style and voice acting so that's...weird but the gameplay looks great! I'll certainly concider a buy from it.
Guys' I don't see the problem. First things first, it was never a Nintendo exclusive as it was also released on steam for PC users. And more important than test, Shovel Knight was a fantastic masterpiece of a game, and I would be DISAPOINTED if it couldn't make sales to more people and allow them to enjoy it and grant Yacht Club more money for what I think deserves it. And as for the cameos, I actually don't care too much for the long forgotten Rare IP and I have never played god of war, but if Wii U and/or 3ds gets an exclusive piece of content, Nintendo cameo or not, I'll probably be happier with it.
I'd be fat more excited if ganon were an actual character. He could be a weapon for ganondorf akin to link's great fairy weapon. But oh well. The rest of the dlc was already more than worth the money.
I check like every hour for the game, it must have happened in my sleep, gah. Why is this poor animation software doomed to be delayed again and again?
While I'll say it is by far my favorite zelda game, multiple playavle characters, super-cool time mechanics, ect. I was really surprised to see anyone give it a 10/10. This game is not for everyone, and while the streamlined mechanics in the remake will help greatly, that time mechanic is still gonna get a few people frustrated. Also, the beginning might be hard for some to stomache as it is not played as by link for the majority. That turned me off on my first playthrough.
There should be more nintendo crossover games like smash in general. A sandbox game would be great as far as I'm concerned. What if we had the potential of disney infinity with smash? There'd be recreations of peach's castle from n64 made for treasure hunting or paintballing. We could have people trying to make 3D smash bros battlefields to use the game's combat mechanics.
