Nintendo’s unit game sales are going to plummet at these prices. I hope the extra profit per sale covers the lower volume in sales.

@Shade_Koopa yes we get that argument but the reality is our wages aren’t going up at these rates so relatively these are massive price hikes no matter how many times you try and justify it with inflation.

@ozwally yes true, if this info is to be believed it does seem the big 3rd parties have dev kits.

Is just if I was Nintendo I’d want as many out there as possible. I believe the devs pay for them so why not? Is no risk to Nintendo though this is just a rumour so maybe my comments aren’t valid anyway!

For Nintendo to get dev kits out so late to 3rd parties doesn’t make any sense. They need 3rd party support and hopefully haven’t forgotten the Wii U era when they basically had none.

Following the success of the OG switch I hope they’re not hindering themselves by being so selective so late in the launch process. Otherwise it looks like complacency and arrogance has kicked in.

The bigger size of the joycon makes me think this will be much more comfortable to play.

That being said I hope the OG pro controller is still compatible…

While 6E or even 7 would have been preferable, it’s not the WiFi chip Nintendo need to improve, it’s their terrible servers. It takes soooo long to download from the eshop vs PS store or just about anywhere else.

Greed isn’t a good trait. Funny we teach our kids not to be greedy - it’s one of the seven sins - yet in business people are greedy and it’s somehow deemed acceptable.

The people responsible for these decisions hide behind the face of a company always searching for growth, which is like another term for greed in disguise. It’s not good.

Taking away from the consumer and increasing their own profit margins. The consumer loses out once again.
