Finishing off rebirth at the moment. It’d be good if these get cross progression as I’d like to take my saves mobile on the switch. Anyone know if this is something that’s been implemented?

@Metazoxan agreed and there’s no way I’m holding off on MP4!

Glad this and outlaws have cross progression. Will see how I feel after Yotei if I’m up for more Japanese open world but will probably pick this up at some point. Outlaws is brilliant on switch 2 so hopefully this’ll be just as good!

@Metazoxan yes you’re right. I guess id just like them before 4 so I can play them again in order 😀

So with prime 4 out soon does that mean we’re not getting 2&3 remakes as rumoured?

Would have thought they’d be out before 4…

I’ll try and get there at some point, hope it does well enough that they consider a permanent place in central London.

Used to have a mint copy of this but never played it. Wish I’d never sold it as I’m sure it’s worth quite a bit now!

Was hoping this was going to turn out bad so I’m not so tempted to play this again on switch but looks like I might be buying it again!

I miss Iwata at the helm, current execs seem faceless, impersonal and too greedy.

I mean Pokémon was (is?) a massive franchise that surely should deserve a budget to suit. Why do they keep releasing games that look like mobile games from 2015?

Good to hear some positive news in the console space and S2 certainly seems like its success will see more competition from Sony and MS in the next few years.

Was an ok game, largely forgettable for me though.

For that price I’d definitely expect an oled screen, damn

Really enjoyed this. Would be down for a sequel definitely!

I more or less bought my S2 in anticipation of Prime 4 so I know where my moneys going!

May get shadows further down the line though.

Oh well at least London's getting a pop up shop for a month. Better than nothing I suppose but its location centrally would have been better like Rockefeller in nyc.

Back to finish off FF7 Rebirrh which I dropped for something else about a year ago. Really enjoying it!

I might grab this on switch but not sure how much open world Japanese goodness I’ll need after ghost of yotei…

Looks good but if this is a switch 2 release shouldn’t they have waited for proper switch 2 dev kits before releasing? A 60fps mode would’ve been nice for its release anyway.

@Metaphor1987 yes I know but it’s still a benefit for those that do. I wasn’t saying they’re perfect just better than codes in a box.

I buy more than I have time to play but it still doesn’t stop me adding to my backlog! Probably 10-15 a year on average.

It’s Nintendo… nobody knows… not even Nintendo

I’m not a fan of key cards either but at least you can resell them unlike codes in a box.

Loved this game and rebirth. No doubt the full trilogy will be making its way to S2 in time and I may well double dip!

New wave race confirmed!

(I know but I can dream 😅)

Just picked up Persona 5 Tactica for £12 on Amazon if anyone’s interested in the uk…

Are they coming out with split pad pros for switch 2 anyone know?

Yotei deserves some time at the top!

Just reminded me this is another game in my backlog I’ve not got round to yet. Dammit I need more time!

DK and expedition 33 are my GOTY’s so far.

DK is miles ahead of MK in my opinion.

Not for me. Already spent a lot on these back in the day and have 3D all stars.

If they were proper switch 2 remakes then I’d be in but as they stand I’m happy without them.

Great game, was much better than expected.

@Serpenterror you’re probably right but I’m still holding out for an actual proper Mario 64 remake one day!

Loved your Mario paint video idea! All the best Zion you’ll be missed not just by the NL team but us readers as well! 💪

What a great console the GBA was - apart from barely being able to see the screen with its terrible brightness!

Kirby forgotten lands for me, great game!

I feel like he was so distant from fans and a disappointment to me after Reggie. Bowser had a great name and may have done a great job (or not?) but I won’t miss him like I did Reggie, Iwata or even Howard Lincoln!

Wish him all the best though…

It certainly feels like Nintendo are pushing 3rd party’s to game cards considering they only offer 64Gb SD’s.

Thanks Nintendo but let’s just make it permanent please…

Currently playing Kirby the forgotten land and glad to see that’s in the charts, what a superb game has surprised me!

@Sylamp ah sweet thanks, somehow missed that!

Was a fun game but I loved it more than I should have just because of the visuals.

Might pick the upgrade up just for the eye candy. Anyone know if the save file carries over?

Well done switch 2 for 2 million!

I wonder if Nintendo will do a lite or oled version at some point? I’d settle just for a better battery like the OG switch got.

This costs approximately 27% the amount of the base game yet contains probably 1% of that content so the value proposition isn’t good in my opinion.

I may pick it up in a sale if it ever goes on one.

This is a weird selective list. Why didn’t they just include every release? What’s wrong with Mario bros 2?

It looks like even Metroid isn’t going to be a metroidvania 😂

I’m nervous and really hope this is implemented well.

@spiderman0616 yeah I get all that and I will vote with my wallet. My concern just stems from how greedy Nintendo seem to have become that’s all.

I’m the same Nintendo fan I’ve always been but for some reason I’m paying almost double the amount I was not long ago.

@spiderman0616 a month or two after launch?

@Thorgaer “midlife crisis bike”

Love that! 🤣

Good content, bad pricing.

The DK DLC feels it was cut from the original game to make an extra 20 a few months later.
