This looks very badly optimised for switch being a 2D sprite based game. I mean if MP4 can run at 120fps there seems little excuses here.

If it gets a S2 update I may be interested as the game does otherwise look really good.

Loved the look of this except for the fairies voice which was annoying even in the short time I was watching. Hope there’s an option to mute it or they lessen the amount of voice prompts etc.

Yep just donkey kong again for me, the most fun i've had with a game in ages!

Haven’t been into a fighter since street fighter 2 blew me away all those years ago, but I’d be all over that virtua fighter 6 concept we saw 6 months ago it looked incredible!

Remember the good old days when consoles used to get cheaper over time? I remember buying a brand new PS2 for £100!

@Ulysses I didn’t realise the tech wasn’t there to support less than 64Gb on express sd’s? Usually capacities start low and the difficulty is then the manufacturer scaling up. How come this is the same but in reverse?

I thought the issue was just Nintendo not wanting to support lower capacities!

For those talking about smash didn’t sakurai himself say he wouldn’t make another smash once ultimate was finished? Or did I imagine that?

Sad times for my new switch 2 as when I can get games on other platforms fully on disc that’s what I’ll do over the game key card.

My ps5 may inadvertently benefit from this decision by Nintendo and I bet they didn’t intend for that to happen!

I feel Nintendo didn’t read the room at all. .

I’d convinced myself we’d see the likes of Elden Ring, FF7 remake, RDR2 etc so that’s why I feel deflated, though in reality there was some decent stuff shown.

Have a feeling we may see Xbox’s intentions at gamescon or at least hope we do. Then with a main direct for first party releases maybe in September, things hopefully will be looking a bit better in a few months.

If Metroid prime 4 can run at 120fps there’s really no excuse this can’t run at 60fps on switch 2.

Wow would have thought it would be better to axe the Xbox version seeing as the sales would be lower than switch’s…

I accept that key cards are a thing but please don’t insult our intelligence by trying to convince us that they are “the most beneficial option for the customer.”

They are not the best option for me so please don’t put words in my mouth.

Not surprised considering this is just a webcam you can buy elsewhere (and use) for £10.

Crazy price but I really feel like Nintendo thought everyone would be on board with this. When they announced it it was like they’d thought of some amazing new idea even though we’ve been doing it for decades already at this point.

Maybe I’m being a bit harsh but you won’t catch me paying £50 for a basic webcam.

I grabbed one as I’m not a massive fan of long sessions with the joycon.

@Phil_Kil yes agreed, Han solo was a smuggler so it makes total sense to have him as the protagonist, at least in my head it does!

@Spider-Kev depends how you play it. There’s always people that finish any game in a few days.

I only have about 16% of the bananas and played it most of the weekend. It’s not as small as you might think.

Also doubt you’ll get much of a discount seeing as this is a first party release.

I’m sure this will have a long tail sales curve and continue to sell well as more people buy switch 2’s.

It deserves to sell many millions anyway!

DK has been fine!

The further into the game I get the better it becomes. Not finished it yet but def a 10/10 for me. It’s so fun to play and I’m enjoying the novelty of character upgrades in a first party Nintendo game!

I have this case and it’s not up to usual tomtoc standards in my opinion.

There’s a large gap at the top when you put your console in which tomtoc decided to fill with a random cushion. Also the raised joystick/button parts on the lid don’t line up with the actual parts of the console. Small things but not their usual quality.

Can’t decide whether to get this on S2 for portability or PS5 as it’s half the price of S2. Help!

Can’t wait til tomorrow this is what my switch 2 has been waiting for.
