Is a little sad DK hasn’t made it into the overall top 20. Deserves to sell more!

@jfp 🤣 yes scrap that. I should have said I hope they improve it in ways that take advantage of the switch 2’s power!

@HammerGalladeBro thanks I didn’t realise that!

@Medic_alert actually I’m not sure. Last time I was looking at buying one years ago they didn’t but to be honest there’s probably been new releases since then that might have.

Hope this is updated for switch 2 with better resolution and frame rates etc.

Love this but PLEASE can we have touch controls?

Love the idea of this on switch 2 and may well bite!

What a drop this is and what a game! Will pick this up but I hope switch 2 has better optimisations vs S1.

I think expedition 33 will take it and that’s fair but personally my goty would be donkey kong just because it was the most fun game I’ve played in years.

Looks good to me based k. 3 pictures. I hope they include magic as links abilities.

@PerfectFrost love that 😂

Ocarina was an insanely good game for its time and glad it made first place. I miss the days of miyamoto having influence on these games.

Would absolutely love a proper remake on switch 2.

@Max_the_German yes though remember that’s only my opinion and many don’t agree!

For me RDR1 was one of the best games of that generation. Before RDR2 came out it was my most anticipated game but turned out to be one of my most disappointing!

The pacing is my main gripe as it’s so slow. Almost like they wanted it to play like a film and forgot it was a game. The story is also weaker as are the locations. It felt a lot less wild west. I gave up on it and didn’t complete it so maybe I missed something but what I did see didn’t come close to RDR1. Lots love 2 though!

Nice letter Max!

“I could care less” also annoys me more than it should.

@Max_the_German enjoy, is a great game and better than the sequel in my opinion.

Sweet news, thanks rockstar!

I have to say… I’m nervous.

Pre ordered and can’t wait!

Hope there’s an upgrade path from switch 1.

Is £22 physical on Amazon in the uk

Dear Nintendo and Sony, I’ll happily take a region locked console in the uk for 150 off in the future. Thank you.

Nice. We could do with western companies doing the same.

@Toastmaster not sure about that mate. Microsoft are releasing games on discs with basically no data on them. I think Indy on ps5 had about 5gb or something so a big download was required. There’s other instances too.

If they’re doing that why wouldn’t they release cod on switch as a key card? Same thing.

Yes well you have to take everything Phil says with a large pinch of salt.

20% of the way into the “10 years of call of duty” deal and so far not even a whisper.

I feel MS are all over the place at the minute trying to work out what they’re doing and how they’re trying to do it with little room to support Nintendo in the process even though the desire is (maybe) there.

For me it’s really good overall with a couple of odd exceptions like Nier. That’s a big game from a big publisher and surprised it’s not updated to be supported.

Long live the king!

Companies “leak” information purposefully sometimes as it’s a solid marketing strategy that gains a lot of clicks or often go viral.

It’s human nature for people to want to see what they shouldn’t see. Not saying that’s what’s happened here as some leaks aren’t intended however I wouldn’t be surprised.

@PJOReilly couldn’t agree more with RDR2 being bloated in all honesty. Plus the pacing was sloooow.

I absolutely adored RDR1 and was so disappointed with the sequel, didn’t even make it to the end.

Congrats NL and those that have made this my go-to Nintendo site over the last few decades.

I was here from (near) the beginning and will remain an avid reader. Visiting is an automatic part of my daily routine.

Keep up the good work!

I light get this just to support them putting it on the cart!

“to be hit with layoffs”

This makes it sound like it was out of their control. The reality is they created the layoffs.

@jfp thank you I feel safer now!

Would love a high budget, proper ocarina remaster or even remake.

Link to the past also please!

I’d argue DK was as good as any Mario.

Please don’t shoot me.

Yep I’d be down for shi’nen and mercurystream!

With MS making so many layoffs they could probably pick up some cheap bargains or at least find unemployed devs!

@N00BiSH yes they said the DS was their “third pillar” but then soon dropped the gba once the DS took off!

I agree with others. I hope the Zelda film has an actual story with depth and not dumbed down.

Yep DK would win it if I had to choose!

I remember buying a PlayStation new for £100 and now a controller is almost the same price. Crazy s*** yo!

I’m a fan of the pro controller but this RE2 isn’t exactly that special for my tastes. For that price I’d expect something special like the dualsense 30th anniversary edition.

@ShadLink in the uk you can get AC on S1 for £35 new. That’s what I was referring to. I probably should have been more clear.

@ShadLink except the S2 version is probably €25 more than the S1 so it would’ve been nice to have included it. They added good value like this with Kirby so why not with AC?

@Sindayl in this case it does seem like they’re charging for nothing but in some cases like Kirby you get a lot of extra content for the upgrade price.

@Doomcrow I did that and am very happy about my decision. Enjoy!

Love Zelda but don’t love the type of game this is so not for me thanks.

I agree with him. Just because Xbox failed doing it doesn’t mean it’s not a valid model.

@GregamanX ah love that! Well in that case you can’t not get one! I hope it’s as magical for you as it was back in the day!

@GregamanX halo being your reason is a little ironic but I don’t think you’d regret a ps5, it’s a great console.

@Haruki_NLI yep everything’s an Xbox… except switch 2 lol

@The-Chosen-one yes well a 10 year promise could just comprise of one cod in year 10. Promise kept.

Spencer is full of hot air.
