Looks good but if this is a switch 2 release shouldn’t they have waited for proper switch 2 dev kits before releasing? A 60fps mode would’ve been nice for its release anyway.

@Metaphor1987 yes I know but it’s still a benefit for those that do. I wasn’t saying they’re perfect just better than codes in a box.

I buy more than I have time to play but it still doesn’t stop me adding to my backlog! Probably 10-15 a year on average.

Loved this game and rebirth. No doubt the full trilogy will be making its way to S2 in time and I may well double dip!

DK and expedition 33 are my GOTY’s so far.

DK is miles ahead of MK in my opinion.

Not for me. Already spent a lot on these back in the day and have 3D all stars.

If they were proper switch 2 remakes then I’d be in but as they stand I’m happy without them.

What a great console the GBA was - apart from barely being able to see the screen with its terrible brightness!

Kirby forgotten lands for me, great game!

I feel like he was so distant from fans and a disappointment to me after Reggie. Bowser had a great name and may have done a great job (or not?) but I won’t miss him like I did Reggie, Iwata or even Howard Lincoln!

Was a fun game but I loved it more than I should have just because of the visuals.

I wonder if Nintendo will do a lite or oled version at some point? I’d settle just for a better battery like the OG switch got.

This costs approximately 27% the amount of the base game yet contains probably 1% of that content so the value proposition isn’t good in my opinion.

I may pick it up in a sale if it ever goes on one.

@spiderman0616 yeah I get all that and I will vote with my wallet. My concern just stems from how greedy Nintendo seem to have become that’s all.

I’m the same Nintendo fan I’ve always been but for some reason I’m paying almost double the amount I was not long ago.

Good content, bad pricing.

The DK DLC feels it was cut from the original game to make an extra 20 a few months later.

The potential open world and bike have made me nervous.

I loved this game but not sure I want to pay that much for one island roguelike. May give it a miss…

Great games but at those prices I’ll pass considering it would be a triple dip for me.

Yeah I’ve been quite fatigued with open world games for quite a while.

Much prefer games like expedition 33 these days that have smaller sandboxes within a world map. Or 2D stuff like hollow knight and linear games like uncharted.

I’ll still play open world games just will be a bit more selective I think moving forward.

@Lizuka yeah is interesting as in most areas of the world we strive for accessibility, yet gaming often doesn’t follow suit…

Getting older means I have less time, patience and reaction speed for difficult games and these days. I’d rather spend my time with something I’m enjoying.

Don’t get me wrong I got to the end of hollow knight and loved it, just the thought of stressing out over learning attacks over and over is putting me off this time round. I’d welcome a difficulty option put it that way!

Just finished with donkey Kong (how did NintendoLife not give this 10/10?!) now might boot up Kirby seeing as I never got round to it on switch 1…

So team cherry want to provide value to gamers and others aren’t happy as they’re not providing as much value themselves? lol

Was saved by donkey kong which is an easy 10/10 for me.

Dammit I’m so tempted to double dip on this one, must resist!

How’s the difficulty compared to the original?

I beat the first game but don’t know if I have the patience for more pain as I found it tough. My reactions aren’t getting any quicker in my old age that’s for sure!
