@Toastmaster not sure about that mate. Microsoft are releasing games on discs with basically no data on them. I think Indy on ps5 had about 5gb or something so a big download was required. There’s other instances too.

If they’re doing that why wouldn’t they release cod on switch as a key card? Same thing.

20% of the way into the “10 years of call of duty” deal and so far not even a whisper.

I feel MS are all over the place at the minute trying to work out what they’re doing and how they’re trying to do it with little room to support Nintendo in the process even though the desire is (maybe) there.

For me it’s really good overall with a couple of odd exceptions like Nier. That’s a big game from a big publisher and surprised it’s not updated to be supported.

Companies “leak” information purposefully sometimes as it’s a solid marketing strategy that gains a lot of clicks or often go viral.

It’s human nature for people to want to see what they shouldn’t see. Not saying that’s what’s happened here as some leaks aren’t intended however I wouldn’t be surprised.

@PJOReilly couldn’t agree more with RDR2 being bloated in all honesty. Plus the pacing was sloooow.

I absolutely adored RDR1 and was so disappointed with the sequel, didn’t even make it to the end.

Congrats NL and those that have made this my go-to Nintendo site over the last few decades.

I was here from (near) the beginning and will remain an avid reader. Visiting is an automatic part of my daily routine.

I’m a fan of the pro controller but this RE2 isn’t exactly that special for my tastes. For that price I’d expect something special like the dualsense 30th anniversary edition.

@ShadLink in the uk you can get AC on S1 for £35 new. That’s what I was referring to. I probably should have been more clear.

@ShadLink except the S2 version is probably €25 more than the S1 so it would’ve been nice to have included it. They added good value like this with Kirby so why not with AC?

@Sindayl in this case it does seem like they’re charging for nothing but in some cases like Kirby you get a lot of extra content for the upgrade price.

Finishing off rebirth at the moment. It’d be good if these get cross progression as I’d like to take my saves mobile on the switch. Anyone know if this is something that’s been implemented?

@Metazoxan agreed and there’s no way I’m holding off on MP4!

Glad this and outlaws have cross progression. Will see how I feel after Yotei if I’m up for more Japanese open world but will probably pick this up at some point. Outlaws is brilliant on switch 2 so hopefully this’ll be just as good!

Used to have a mint copy of this but never played it. Wish I’d never sold it as I’m sure it’s worth quite a bit now!

Was hoping this was going to turn out bad so I’m not so tempted to play this again on switch but looks like I might be buying it again!

I miss Iwata at the helm, current execs seem faceless, impersonal and too greedy.

I mean Pokémon was (is?) a massive franchise that surely should deserve a budget to suit. Why do they keep releasing games that look like mobile games from 2015?

Good to hear some positive news in the console space and S2 certainly seems like its success will see more competition from Sony and MS in the next few years.

Was an ok game, largely forgettable for me though.

For that price I’d definitely expect an oled screen, damn
