@Rahmus agreed. Feels like there’s been too much reliance on switch 2 editions.

Not to mention the much more expensive hardware and game prices haven’t helped sales. I doubt Nintendo are massively surprised with this news considering.

@AdolXCredo @Anti-Matter ah ok thank you, sounds good, I’ll definitely check it out if I ever get to Japan!

@AdolXCredo what is Daiso?

£114 for a few printed wooden blocks is insane whether they’re good quality or not and let’s face it you’d expect them to be for that price.

@Anti-Matter shame I didn’t know that 😤

A new AC would be nice but I miss the days when Nintendo took more risks and we got smaller projects like Dillon’s rolling western, Pushmo etc.

For the life of me I can’t understand why the latter isn’t even on switch.

@RupeeClock yes if it becomes user replaceable that will mean potentially either a bigger chassis for the same battery life or the same chassis with lesser battery.

@KennDogg yeah because of the 64gb cart versus cheap disc.

Will pick this up on switch 2 over ps5 because of the mouse controls. Looks superb!

First my pro gets pssr2 and now my switch 2 this, what an awesome day for updates!

Damn Hori where’s the switch 2 split pad pros?! My money is sitting here waiting for me to pass it to you…

Oh bless Nintendo trying to drum up some excitement for a feature we were all using 20 years ago elsewhere

@Maxz you know you can play the game normally and then reset the land layout in the map options? Could then go crazy once you’re ready…?

It is overpowered but damn it’s fun!

If I can find a retail copy I might pick it up.

Yes at face value it may be simpler but there are a lot of nuances that are missed by non English speakers such as sarcasm.

@Yodalovesu good point weird this direct wasn’t tomorrow lol

I hope this sequel has more of a story than the first game. I liked it but felt the plot was a bit thin.

Seems like a big fail by Nintendo uk/europe, did they misjudge demand?

Weird it’s not even on Amazon and other big retailers…

Great this is getting switch support though is it getting a physical release anyone know?

I’m not interested in anything xbox these days but this is good news for those that still are. Sounds like it could be expensive though.

Hah oled beat the lite by a single unit!

Played this not long ago and is really good. Well worth a look even if it is a little on the easy side.

I’m glad considering it’s one of the two OG metroidvanias!

Forgot it was even on so have a bit of catching up to do!

Looks good. It had an 89 on metacritic when I looked. Not sure I’ll get it yet though.

Would have been interesting to see what difference (if any) it would have made if it was not a key card release.

Looks respectfully good. I could never understand why Pokémon games looked so low budget while selling countless millions.

Looks superb on switch 2 but what these images don’t show is the frame rate which I’m sure is improved on the pro.

Win/win wherever you play it though.

@Markiemania95 yes true, think I’m just grumpy today lol

Damn NL has turned into PokémonLife!

It’s great if you’re into Pokémon but not so much if you’re not!

@Olliemar28 just a thought - on the overview part of your review page, could you add if a game comes on a cart, key card, code in box and/or digital? Would be useful! Many thanks

Capcom are peak right now. Great to see them doing so well and this port is impressive!

Went for the 3DS XL as I never had the new 3DS XL which I more than likely would have voted for if I had!

This game looks quite qud

If Mario tennis was half the price I’d probably check it out but it’s not the kind of game I’d pay Nintendo full whack for.

I’m just amazed someone managed to get a refund out of Nintendo at all!

It might be a bit plain but the American and European cover is classic in my eyes and takes my vote.

Simple, classy and all that’s needed for such a classic franchise.

Why don’t they offer both - a sub service and purchase option.

I know they want the recurring revenue of the subs but if individual games were priced high enough surely that’d make up the margins?

Wow console gaming in Japan is in the toilet compared to where it used to be. Is the reason only to do with mobile gaming?

I’m hoping and waiting for some hori split pad pros for the switch 2. Loved them on my oled and miss them. Nintendo joycon are uncomfortable for my hands.

Great game and would be welcome on switch 2 I’m sure!

For once I prefer both the NA/EU cover to the Japanese.

Went with the green of NA though.

The fact that this is even being compared to TTYD means I’m gonna buy it.

Playing the nioh 3 demo at the moment and it’s great so far. Other than that I’ll be playing Forza and still need to get back to tears if the kingdom which I somehow never finished.

Happy gaming all!

I enjoyed the demo but have a feeling it didn’t necessarily do the overall game justice.

It’s great to see Konami back, this looks superb!

From an outsider looking in it does seem mr guillemot is a little bit clueless these days.

Love that it’s single player, don’t love the graphics yo

@TYRANACLES ah yes you clearly have good taste with shadow complex and mark of the ninja my friend!
