I had low expectations for this when it came out on ps5 but ended up loving it.

I was glad it wasn’t a Jedi story and the locations really took me to a galaxy far far away.

Tempted to double dip just to support it but have way to much else to play so doubt I will.

This looks very lazy - AI textures, poor performance, graphics from 2010. Not good and is a shame as I used to be a fan of this series.

Is Michel Ancel back working on this or did I imagine it?

If there’s a new handheld as part of the Ps6 family and has equal game releases with the home console I’d be down.

I see it similar to how the series s is with the x.

For those saying Sony don’t support their hardware like the vita I don’t think this will be comparable seeing as a handheld ps6 would be able to play all ps6 software and wouldn’t need its own dedicated development.

Slightly off topic but am I right in saying Mario 64 was the first ever game with idle animations?

It’s basically the game I got my S2 for so will be disappointed if it’s delayed to 2026 though it’s not like I’ve not loads of other stuff to play.

It seems to be selling well all round considering S2’s (relatively) low install base.

It’s so good it deserves to have a very long tail sales curve in my opinion.

I really don’t understand why Nintendo are dragging their heels with this.

Yes I don’t know what’s involved in creating a dev kit but surely it can’t be that difficult for a company that creates their own hardware, has massive production capacity and was planning for a hardware launch for up to 8 years…

Why aren’t they getting as many out there as possible to get as much support as possible and therefore increase their chances of success?

Are they suffering from arrogance from the success of switch 1? This just doesn’t add up in my mind.

I really liked cologne but struggled to find healthy food while I was there.

Maybe it’s because I was looking in the wrong places during Christmas market times but the regular options just included meat, pastries and deserts everywhere I saw. That’s very nice in itself but by the time I left I needed something else.

No way is MKW better than DK in my eyes.

@michellelynn0976 while I agree I’m not sure the PS6 gen will do as badly if the rumoured handheld comes to fruition.

Sony would do well to go handheld for the Japanese market especially so could see it beating the ps5 quite easily.

Loved it but some of the boss battles did drive me slightly insane!

I have less patience now than ever so some difficulty modes would be nice. For me anyway!

Love these remakes and it’s just reminded me I need to get back to finishing rebirth at some point!

I mean it was good but I’m still surprised this is coming so close to Mario Kart seeing as they’re so similar. Seems an odd choice but happy for those that want it.

I was really looking forward to this on ps5 but unfortunately it gave me bad nausea for some reason so had to give it up. Shame as it was quite decent.

I wonder if I’ll feel sick playing it on switch 2 handheld mode though!

With this and MK I do find it a bit weird Nintendo have gone so hard on racers this early into the S2’s life.

Glad DK exists but would prefer something a bit more different.

The comparison vs capcom etc is interesting but not comparable seeing as they all have different share totals.

Capcom have about 418m vs Nintendo’s 4.66b for example.

DK deserves to sell more than this!

It can be hard to go back to some of those games. I have to retrain my brain all over again to be any good at them!

@Rodolfo6493 I think he may have been referring to the 3DS version which was more like a tech demo compared to the previous entries which had more than one area to fly around.

Anyway I’d love a proper new release with the original characters… Wave race and pushmo too!

@Ooccoo_Jr agree key cards are definitely better that way. I guess the reason people don’t like it is they’re going to the trouble of making a physical case then why not just add the cart? Not sure.
