@Damo I heard that the clamshell does not actually protect the screens, having brought back the orginal's cardinal sin of allowing the controls to touch the top screen, and marking it. Did you see any evidence of this?

@aaronsullivan I'm no hater! I think the name is just fine - I just wish people would abbreviate it to XOX, which I think is adorable.

I've also never wanted an Xbox as much as the XOX. Its a lot of pay cheques away, but I'm really keen to build a 4K home theater system and the XOX goes right along with that.

Re: Zelda: Breath of the Wild Director Says the Game’s Design Could Become the New Standard

It was amazing, but I finished the ending when I realised I was getting bored, and was hunting materials through some pretty repetitive tasks to change stats on items that were plenty powerful enough.

Something wild would have to be changed or enhanced to make me commit so much time to that gameplay loop again. Hopefully there will be a return to more traditional dungeons, and more crafted content in the future.

And I really miss the magic of previous Zelda's. Having the dragons as nothing more than pretty archery targets is kind of sad.

I've always been so tempted to play this, but the time it requires is beyond me. I had thought the portability of the Switch would open it up for me, but I'm still reluctant to commit.

I personally loved Skyward Sword, and would still love to see more of that. Because it was fairly linear, although I've never thought it was especially more linear than many others, it was incredibly well crafted. Breath of the Wild is very, very special, but I maybe because of that i don't necessarily want the next one to follow too closely in its footsteps.

Maybe time to follow up on Link Between Worlds.

In the meantime, I'm much more interested in what's next for Metroid!
