I remember an old nonogram game for Neo Geo that had a little boy anime character, a little girl anime character and a gorilla that burst into tears and cried out that it wanted to be a beautiful woman.

I have no idea what it was all about - the ROM was Japanese, so I couldn't read the text. But It was so memorable and full of personality. It was mad and risky.

All of these Picross games strike me as so bland.

I was excited for this after Nintendolife’s review.

I cannot believe this scored above a 5. It’s a miserable experience. Even if there’s an ok racer in there somewhere I could not be bothered to find it. Utterly horrible.

I agree. While I began to dread the EMMI encounters, I don’t think it was the dread they were going for.

But the EMMIs were nothing compared to the ‘oh jeez, not you again’ encounters of the Chozo.

The game was at its best when it stopped interrupting itself.

The Binbok controller is fantastic, and has gyro. Get that instead.

After some consideration I went with the Binbok controller. Waiting for it to be delivered and hoping it works as well as some reviews say. The Split pad pro has too many missing features for my liking.

I get why some people would not think this is worth it, which I think is the norm for all special editions. Most of the stuff included is tat, and the cards are a bit crap imo.

But the art book is glorious. Far better than expected. It was the reason I got it and I think it's fantastic! But I collect artbooks, especially those focussed on concept and development art. I just wish there was text explaining the images properly.

I preferred Lost World. Less repetitive, less sugar rush.

Some puzzles get repetitive? Its not a long game, but I got very bored before the end and gave up. The dialogue is mildly witty, but I really never got the hype for this game.

@KateGray I'm so jealous that you got to hear it live. I tried to plan an international trip to coincide with a performance (I'm in South Africa), but couldn't manage it.

Just hearing the music in the trailer hit me in the feels, can't wait to play this again.

It's my absolute favourite non-kart Mario game. Glad to hear all that about Bowser's Fury. Happy to stick with the Wonderful Wii U version.

how is 10 hours too short for a game like this? I would personally prefer it to be sub 5hours.

On the flip side, the thing I like most about the PS5 is the speed. Faster load times alone would be worth the upgrade for me.

Aah more content for my favorite and most played Wii U game. But I'll never see it, because I'm not paying for it again on Switch.

I think its appalling that this content is not pushed to Wii U for those of us that supported the game at the start.

@Noid My best guess would be that they prioritised Mario, for obvious reasons, but are leaving themselves an option to add content later based on other properties.

While everyone goes wah wha wha about freedom of expression and hand wringing about what the world is coming to, This basically amounts to the devs going, " Oh crap! thats not what we meant to say at all!"

Creatives need feedback, just like anyone else. When you find out that you did not achieve your intention, you fix it. So the outcome will be closer to what they intended, based on user feedback.

Never played this, but I would.love Crystal Bearers to make a comeback. I know this is not realistic, but I think it's massively underrated.
