HeadUp Games is a company that became familiar to Nintendo gamers through its Wii U eShop title Typoman, but since then it's been building a substantial library as a publisher. In helping Indies of various sizes release their titles, HeadUp Games has lined up a fair bit of content for Nintendo Switch. We already know about its plans for The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ in Europe, but there's more to come.
Let's take them in order.
Slime-san - August
Already released on PC and with DLC inbound, this looks like an intriguing title that'll be a good match for the Nintendo Switch. Stylish, potentially challenging and with scope for customisation and switching up gameplay, we're keen to see how this turns out on the eShop.
Earth Atlantis - Q3 2017
Previously announced and now given a release window. Looking a lot like the classic arcade blaster In The Hunt, Earth Atlantis places you in a world where the majority of the planet's surface is covered in wet stuff. There are plenty of enemies to take down, as well as 15 giant monsters to seek out and destroy.
Panzer Party - October
Coming out on Switch in addition to PC, PS4 and Xbox One, this is an arcade game with some details on this Unity page. It's an arena brawler suited to online or local multiplayer, boasting of 6 settings, 9 vehicles split into 3 classes (water, ground and air), and more than 20 equippable upgrades and pick-ups combined.
Which of these games are going on your Switch eShop wishlist?

Slime - San I kinda have my eye on.
None of these are on my radar tbh
Slime-san looks glorious!
Drab, drab, drab.
All three look good to me. Panzer Party looks much better in other pics, in my opinion.
Earth Atlantis all day baby!
Earth Atlantis looks okay. Needs some color.
Slime-san looks too over complicated, but i thought that of Spectre Knight but love that, so might give it a go.
Love Earth Atlantis art style but looks abit hectic.
No interest in Panzer Party
The only one I kinda like is Slime-san.
YES! I reviewed Slime-San on PC in April, and it's gonna be a joy to play it on Switch!
@landlord14 It looks beautiful without any extra colors BUT I wonder if it'll be exhausting to play for any substantial period of time without any additional colors to isolate sprites.
Slime-san looks f'ing perfect. I feel a lil dirty buying another pixel game for my first "next-gen" console, but whatever.
Slime-san looks promising, but the titular slime looks more like a "-kun" to me... >_>'
I love indies, I love 2D, I love 2D Indies and 2D Indie Platformers in particular. BUT if you check there is a real absence of anything 3D coming out except the multitude of multiplayer only titles poring in and it's concerning. If we're lucky we get a few isometric view games but there is a real lack of variety in genres at the moment. The Switch is very capable regarding the possibility for large single player campaign 3D platformers and action adventure games and I think Nintendo should be begging for anything like this on the system or at least porting the best of this stuff over from the Wii U. It's starting to look very dull until Odyssey and Rabbids arrive.
Again Indies are great but the Switch could start being perceived as an 'Indie machine' and the would NOT be good.
In the NL article: 'Feature: The Biggest Nintendo Switch eShop Games of 2017 - Summer Edition' almost everything is 2D with a few isometrics. Rime and Yooka Laylee can't come quick enough.
Tank game is an insta buy, the Switch is a local multiplayer behemoth, my social gaming nights have gone through the roof thanks to PSVR and Switch.
Super Mea-- Slime Boy
Slime-sun seems meatboyish to me which looks cool. Also interested to see reviews on Atlantis.
Slime-San looked good, hope it's not too hard though.
Earth Atlantis & Slime-san both look good to me.
Panzer Party looks very interesting, it's basically 4 player multiplayer who's best tank xD
Nice! This looks better than Troll and I.
Anyway, I know many people don't like the focus or amount of indies we are getting but I LOVE IT!! So keep it coming.
Panzer Party is the only one I'm like ? since there isn't any gameplay.
Slime-san is great! Perfect fit for the Switch.
Earth Atlantis for sure!
@xPH03N1Xx86 It is pretty hard to be honest but only really if you're looking to collect everything in each stage and beat the time trails.
Uhm... Yay?
Great 3rd party support NOT. Generic trash
@davidevoid Thanks for the insight, I'm not much of a time trials person but I'm still tempted to get this.
@Switch81tch
Exactly, but that's not to say I didn't used to play crap like this year's back, afterall that's pretty much all there was, your right though I don't care,
Slime-San looks incredibly fun and stylish.
@Jessica286 Same here. I'll take a lovingly crafted indie over a generic AAA any day.
I was rather smitten with the first trailer I saw from Earth Atlantis half a year ago, so this i great news to me.
Was waiting to hear more about Slime-san, glad to hear it's coming soon!
Somewhat relatedly, been playing Gonner and it's a lot better than I expected (gameplay seems similar)!
Slime san looks really cool. I will buy this one.
Slime looks interesting.
